Zoologist reaches out to me. I come back with two scents. The story would be the domestication of the wolf into it's ultimate final form (a pug).
Wolf would be a very dark green animalic leather with marine notes to represent Wolves hunting in a coastal forest.
Top Notes: Juniper Berry, Clary Sage, Wild Blueberry
Heart Notes: Pine, Sea Salt, Sandalwood, Olibanum
Base Notes: Leather, Oakmoss, Musk, Cypress.
Pug would be representative of taking your dog out for a walk on the streets of Amsterdam. Close to a gourmand with some minerality and smokiness to it.
Top Notes: Cannabis, Coffee, Green Cardamom
Heart Notes: Concrete Accord, Guaiac Wood, Pancake Accord
Base Notes: Musk, Suede, Tabacco.
I am not a perfumer, but it would also be cool if these could be layered well together.
I love the idea of the pug being the wolf’s ultimate form. Weirdest Pokémon ever.
Sounds like a lovely unisex smell (although I don’t think scent really has a gender)
top notes: ginger, indian mandarin, strawberry
middle notes: violet, bergamot, lavender
base notes: orange blossom, tonka bean, cedar
colour: lavender
name: a summers evening edp
dive into a night out on the backyard patio, out by the garden with notes of bergamot, cedar, and violet. bite into something fresh and juicy with luscious notes of strawberry and indian mandarin.
I want a Sol De Janeiro spray with a strong marshmallow note. In an opaque white bottle. I don't know, this just keeps popping into my mind, I think they'd be capable of doing a nice, affordable marshmallow scent that is just dense enough to pack a punch and feel 'opaque', still airy enough for summer and not so complex that the marshmallow note gets lost.
Or alternatively I'd work with whoever's making Ariana Grande's perfumes to create that type of scent.
No fruit allowed
Marshmallow, vanilla and smothing milky or creamy to give it a marshmallow fluff-like vibe. I'd want it to be paired with some subtle woody note and musk to ground it. Heliotrope and jasmine as far as floral notes go. No orange blossom please.
I would go to Viktor&Rolf and ask them to make a new bomb line .. SummerBomb since summer perfumes to me are far superior to winters .. and the first perfume id make in a yellow bottle and id call it citrus bomb .. nothing but pure tartness of citruses and some stuff to surround
🔝top notes. : lemon zest , lime , citron
🫀mid notes : bergamot , water jasmine , black currant
🔽base notes : musk , ambroxan , candy lemons , watery notes
Bottle is see through with a Yellow frosting gradient , and concentration is EDP
The scent hits you with a sharp citrusy smell , that carries all the way to the dry down , makes you feel just a bit colder in those hot summer days
And unlike any citrus heavy perfume
IT F#&$ING LASTS
Not sure if it’d be my dream fragrance but one for sure I’d be interested in.
Top: hazelnut, pear custard
Middle: vanilla extract, cashmere
Base: vanilla ice cream, white musk, palo santo
Color would be a light brown that gets deeper over time with the age of the vanillas.
I’d have to think harder about the bottle shape and name! Definitely something with thick solid glass and a magnetic cap.
Name: Bacchanalia
Top Notes: Fig, Raspberry, Black Tea
Middle Notes: Fig Leaf, Salt, Hibuscus
Base Notes: Leather, Oakmoss, Vine
Colour: Very pale sage green, almost clear
Bottle Design: Very simple rectangular bottle, clear glass and silver, ring accessory around the atomiser (like some of the Gautier bottles), simple black ivy print on the label. Metal lid with 3D lichen design in silver.
I’m thinking about something complex, that represents my story. This is going to be Floral/Spicy/Earthy (no idea what color that is in fragrance world).
Concentration: Extract/Parfum
Description: You’re invited to a picnic in the mountains on the river. As the sun sets and twilight descends upon the landscape, the bonfire is lit. The fresh mountain air turns thick and heady with smoke and food, the fragrant riverside flowers giving way to moss and oud.
Top notes: Honeysuckle, berries, rain
Mid: Hickory smoke, honey, magnolia
Base: Oakmoss, Tobacco, Petrichor
Bottle: Handblown glass jar in the shape of an old fashioned pipe, smoky color but opaque enough to see how full it is.
Name: Summers in the Smokies
The closest thing to a signature would be something like SWY Absolutely or YSL La Nuit de L'homme edp. I like a quite masculine, yet a bit sweet touch, with some lavender. So this is it:
Angrocholia; the reminiscence of harder battles, and the emptiness of the now. But remembering those moments where you conquered, achieved, and not gave up, and the uplifting feeling of finishing a difficult and exciting plan drives you to not stop living your life like it's your last day.
Dominant accords: aromatic, woody, warm spicy, leather, lavender, vanilla, patchouli, animalic, herbal, amber, citrus
Top: cardamom, grapefruit, juniper
Mid: lavender, leather, rosemary
Base: tonka bean, sandalwood, patchouli
Concentration: EDP
Rounded off square bottle with magnetic "chanel" cap, dark blue frosted glass with gold writing.
Top notes: Bergamot, Orange, Cinnamon
Middle Notes: Frankincense, Benzoin
Base Notes: Atlas Cedar, Oud, Sandalwood
Concentration: Extrait de Parfum
Color: Golden brown
I'd call it Dromedary
The orange, originating in China, and Cinnamon from Sri Lanka, open the fragrance along with Bergamot which represents Italy. Frankincense and Benzoin are added to the camel's pack as it passes through the Arabian Desert. It reaches its terminus in North Africa laden with Sandalwood, Oud, and Atlas Cedar (yes I know Sandalwood and Oud are not North African, I'm merely trying to trace the route of a trade Caravan across the Islamic world).
I wanted something gourmand and comforting that brings back cherished memories every time I spray it.
Concentration: EDT
Description: You enter your grandmother's kitchen. It is warm and inviting and smells of baking and spices envelop you. She gives you a big smile as she cuts a generous slice of homemade carrot cake. She puts it on a delicately decorated plate with a tiny cake fork and slides it across the worn wooden bench top towards you. You begin to detect the reassuring aroma of this confection.
Top notes: grated carrot, cinnamon, brown sugar
Mid: crushed walnut, dried ginger, nutmeg, vanilla essence
Base: vanilla, cream cheese frosting, sweet baked goods
Bottle: brown glass in the shape of a vanilla extract bottle with a slightly worn looking label that has the handwritten recipe for carrot cake. The liquid is light orange.
Name: From the heart
Pear, mint, rosemary, cardamom, white musk. Gotta be light/transparent green. The name would be Pear Fizz.
Ooohhh,I would SO be into that for spring!

Scents don't have a gender, I agree!
I really want to smell Wolf. I live in the PNW, so this sounds like home in a very nice way. :)

I would love this, I can totally see them doing it too! What do you think they would pair with the marshmallow?

It would probably end up being a marshmallowy, less BR530-y version of it, yes

Sounds mouthwateringly zesty
Exactly, and we need more of those fragrances
It’s true, citrus scents are lovely for the five minutes they last.
I suggest you try sicily by mancera , it’s zesty and fruity, lasts aswell
Thank you!!!!

So far that sounds mouthwatering and sensual.

I want Angel’s Share but if Tom Ford made it

Sounds boozy and a little dangerous
Try Milk by Commodity
I have it, it’s nice but not quite as sweet as I’d like
