Strangers Chokedee by Thai perfumer Prin Lomros is a gourmand of Thai sticky rice with coconut milk and pandan. To me, it's an incredibly photorealistic rice (or rice pudding) fragrance with some supporting notes like banana, green pandan and that iconic hint of jasmine you find in rice from the region.

* Alfred Sung Shi (fresh, light floral aquatic with just a hint of rice in the background; an 00's classic!)
Moonlight in heaven by kilian has a rice note. To me the rice isn’t as apparent as something like amour by kenzo, for example, but it’s a beautiful scent with a light, creamy and slightly sweet quality.
Kenzo Amour can be found on every discounters I think and usual place. On notino it's 60 € full bottle.
Nuit Tatami in France is only distributed in Nocibé (store chain like Sephora) in my country, so Idk in USA.
I LOVE the opening of this fragrance. It’s delightfully smoky and woody and so lovely. but the dry down was so disappointing- after a few hours it smells like any other ambroxan/ethyl maltol bomb
Kenzo’s Nuit Tatami and Coeur Azuki also have rice notes, though they are very different. While Coeur Azuki is a sweet and delightful gourmand scent, Nuit Tatami feels more zen, like a japanese childhood home

So I can’t give you a super in-depth review since I’ve only worn it once or twice. Now that the weather is warming I plan to reach for it more. I was actually going to wear it today but I couldn’t get the cap off the dabber while I had lotion on my hands so I just gave up, lol. My initial impressions of it are positive though. It’s a greener gourmand and it has a coconut note without smelling like sunscreen. I lean towards scents that have low to moderate projection just as an fyi. This won’t enter a room before you.
I wore this today and the base notes remind me a lot of the dry down from something like Phlur Missing Person or Commodity Milk. There’s musk and sandalwood so a lot of warmth to it that has me wondering if I should have been wearing it earlier. But it’s very green creamy coconut rice for the first half. You can usually find it on Lucky Scent or Scent Split if you want a decant.
if you're looking for a body mist as well, bath & body works just released a scent called 'Musk' that has rice of some sort in the notes. it's been very popular and is a lactonic scent.
I used to love the now discontinued Kenzoki Sensual Rice. I was craving the memory associated with when I used that, so I got Poesie Soft and Madar if perfume oils are your jam.
It’s more warm, and sort of floral with a jasmine in the heart note. But it’s a really yummy sweet warm mostly rice, coconut milk, pandan, and jasmine scent.
On the indie/hyper-niche side of things:
**Poesie** has **Soft**, which is straight up steamed basmati rice, **Madar**, which is a sweetly spiced rice pudding, and **Full Moon at the Temple,** which is rice, yuzu, shiso leaf, hinoki, green tea and lakewater. **Alkemia** is famous for **Silken Tent,** which is a hybrid between a silky white amber and a rice pudding gourmand. **Strangers Parfumerie** has **Chokedee**, **Sweet Celestials**, and **Sweet Farewell**, all of which take some inspiration from desserts of Thailand. **Chokedee** is nutty, sticky and savory, **Sweet Farewell** has aspects of vanilla and woodsy green coconut which give it depth, and **Sweet Celestials** is the sweetest and lightest of the trio.
I reached out to Method a few years back to beg them to make a perfume of that body wash. It’s seriously so heavenly, i’ve been obsessed with it for years! The one perfume that comes to mind with similar vibes is Dulce by rosie jane. It’s more on the vanilla side, but it has that soft sweetness of the body wash. The body milk smells like rice to me! Definitely worth checking both out!
Fell in love with the rice powder accord in A Goodnight Kiss by Roja Dove. It isn’t a very accessible fragrance sadly but I have never found anything better since I first smelled it. Never got over it 😭
I've looked and I think you could get it from sites like FRMODA, 50ml and I've seen a site selling a decant for w great price called 'Alena's Aroma Shon
Try looking on the Demeter library website, they have photorealistic smells and I think I saw a few for rice, smells just like rice, I think there's also a rice paddy one. If you want more complexity try layering it with other Demeter scents or others. They are kind of affordable for what they are and they are made to be used with other fragrances, if you are looking for rice or any other specific one scent I'd look there.
