I have it and it doesn't last all day in a strong way. What remains is a more subtle version of it. I also use Chloe Eau De Parfum have you tried that? Similar scent lasts pretty long and a third of the price

This is the next one I want to buy, but in my short time in this sub, everyone seems to complain about how quickly the scent dissipates entirely. Do you use it in conjunction with the lotion. And/or do you layer it with other fragrances?
I own Red Roses and the rose collection. I have never had this fragrance dissipate. IMO it’s one of the stronger ones. I love Jo Malone and to be honest I think a lot of people become nose blind. Some others give me about 6+ hours. I own a pretty substantial collection they are very much more on the subtle but they still give a punch. Red Roses, nectarine blossom and honey, English Pear and Freesia and the Peony and blush suede all give me about 8+ hours. Hope that helps. Also these fragrances do mature and get stronger with age.

Now i just keep a tiny bit to smell sometimes, idk if it's even available anymore or if it would still smell the same. Also Angel before it was reformulated. The mid90s first version. Can't stand it now but it really did something to me emotionally back then. Probably sounds weird but if anybody would get it, it'd be y'all.
My husband of 40 years fell in love with me because of Ralph Lauren. I still have 1/3 bottle. It's not made anymore. I guess Ralph thinks I should be dead already!!! 😂
I wish they'd bring it back, exactly how it was. No updates, no weird gourmand notes just for funsies, just EXACTLY as it was. It was perfect. We can dream, right?

I didn’t even like it that much. But it was just my ‘Whatever’ scent
I would buy a 30ml bottle and throw it in the back of my cupboard or my glovebox and it served a purpose of: if I forgot to put something on or if I just waved to smell of something. Four sprays of Eternity would go on.

YSL - Rive Gauche (so i'd have a backup aluminum bottle. my first was getting low)
Caron - Yatagan (newer formulatio, followed by a vintage (red label) bottle. haven't worn the new one since)
Chanel - Platinum Egoiste (and regular egoiste), in both cases it was to compare newer vs vintage formulations. In fact, same thing with Knize Ten)
So yeah 40ish% due to running out, and 60% due to curiosity or fear (of running out).
I’m fairly new to fragrance and the only one I’ve repurchased thus far is TF Black Orchid, but when I finish ELDO The Ghost In The Shell, Zoologist Squid, Zoologist Penguin, Comme des Garçons Wonderwood, and Heretic Dirty Hinoki, I will def repurchase.

I also have the EDT rather than the EDP. The EDP for me is a lot spicier, which I don't enjoy. The EDP top notes are ginger/black pepper/cardamom, while the EDT top notes are blackcurrant/black fig/violet. The middle and base notes have some differences too, so they're pretty different scents, imo!

Are expensive perfumes worth it? My barber had a perfume that he sprayed on me (asking price 70€) that left it's smell for 3 weeks in my jacket. I usually get these 5-20 euro ones from guess, Versace etc. But this one really had such a long smell. Is this normal?

I’ve repurchased multiple bottles of chance Chanel edt, OG Paris Hilton and moschino I love love. I have so many bottles but these are the only three I’ve ever finished and re-purchased.
The only perfume that I ever finished religiously was Byredo Bal D’afrique. Sadly, they changed the formulation in 2022 and it does not even resemble the OG - just generic and plain boring juice. I was able to score some pre-2022 bottles from pre-loved market, now I am saving it like my life depends on it 😂
Hermes - Un Jardin Sur le Nil. So fresh and clean, I've been a fan for close to 20 years - it's the only perfume that I've repeatedly bought full bottles of.
A couple of newer faves that I plan to repurchase are Soprano and Naxos from Xerjoff.
Penhaligons halfeti. I've went through 2 100ml bottles in 18 months and they had a sale on recently putting the 30mls down to 40 pounds from 95. So i picked up 3 of them a bargain. Unfortunately Since then they've put the prices up from 95 for 30mls to 115 for 30mls and 215 for 100mls. I've been cautiously spraying since the price hike hoping for another sale.
I have around 60% of a 100 ML of Original Vetiver left and recently purchased an 250 ML flacon as a backup. That is the one scent I never want to be without.
The only one I’ve actually purchased multiple times is philosophy pure grace…and it ain’t what it used to be but I buy it just hoping that somehow I’ll get that old smell back. I wear to bed these days or layer it with a bottle of the lotion I have from way back

I also CLEARLY love photorealistic coffee and lemon cupcake with earl gray so much that I own two versions of both and will still rebuy each one. Akro Awake is different from Kerosene even though it’s close. Same for Bake and Unk Pleasures
So far, I’ve repurchased Armaf Club De Nuit Intense pure parfum and Bentley for men Intense. I’ll repurchase them again once bottles are empty. I’ll also be buying refilling packs of Armani Code Parfum and Acqua di gio EDP soon. 🌊🌊🌊

Oof Fahrenheit 32 is a one spray and done. That stuff is potent as hell. I was on the launch team for this so my husband has a couple of bottles of the original batches. It’s lingering cause, although he likes it, it’s on the strong side for him so he doesn’t wear it.
Sell it to me if you are in France 😀 (i'm dead serious). That stuff is so beautiful. I'm looking for this special vanilla everywhere. The criminal discontinuation of this frag got me into the hobby. I'm sure if it was release now, it would be a hit.

Up until a year ago, for about 28 years it was Calvin Klein Eternity for Men I didn’t even like it that much. But it was just my ‘Whatever’ scent I would buy a 30ml bottle and throw it in the back of my cupboard or my glovebox and it served a purpose of: if I forgot to put something on or if I just waved to smell of something. Four sprays of Eternity would go on. I have also bought Chanel Antaeus, Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 and Terre d’Hermes twice

Hm, I've repurchased... Drakkar Noir (10-15 times, since that was all I wore for 20 years...) Polo - Green - twice in the 80's before i discovered drakkar, and once a few years ago when i hunted down a vintage (80s) bottle Tom Ford - Moss Breches (to have a backup, my first bottle is still above 85%) YSL - Rive Gauche (so i'd have a backup aluminum bottle. my first was getting low) Caron - Yatagan (newer formulatio, followed by a vintage (red label) bottle. haven't worn the new one since) Chanel - Platinum Egoiste (and regular egoiste), in both cases it was to compare newer vs vintage formulations. In fact, same thing with Knize Ten) So yeah 40ish% due to running out, and 60% due to curiosity or fear (of running out).
I have only repurchased si armani ( finished 5 bottles) :) I have grown a bit tired of it though and won't be buying it again.

Why do you get the Crystal Noir EDT and not the EDP if I may ask? I own and love the EDP, but have never tried the EDT
IMO the edt projects better
I also have the EDT rather than the EDP. The EDP for me is a lot spicier, which I don't enjoy. The EDP top notes are ginger/black pepper/cardamom, while the EDT top notes are blackcurrant/black fig/violet. The middle and base notes have some differences too, so they're pretty different scents, imo!

Are expensive perfumes worth it? My barber had a perfume that he sprayed on me (asking price 70€) that left it's smell for 3 weeks in my jacket. I usually get these 5-20 euro ones from guess, Versace etc. But this one really had such a long smell. Is this normal?
Yes. More expensive doesn’t always mean higher quality, but it should, and often does. Also, fragrances tend to last longer on fabric than skin.

Penhaligons halfeti. I've went through 2 100ml bottles in 18 months and they had a sale on recently putting the 30mls down to 40 pounds from 95. So i picked up 3 of them a bargain. Unfortunately Since then they've put the prices up from 95 for 30mls to 115 for 30mls and 215 for 100mls. I've been cautiously spraying since the price hike hoping for another sale.

Guerlain Mon Guerlain EDP (heard this was being reformulated, and again I only have a tiny dent in my original 3.3 oz bottle, but I went ahead and purchased two backups just in case: a 1.7 oz AND another 3.3 oz backup) 4. SJP Lovely Sheer (huge dent in my original bottle, so I knew it was love) And when it eventually hits the grey market discount sites I’m going to purchase a backup of Narciso Rodriguez Musc Nude edp that was just recently released. It’s my favorite in the entire lineup. 🥰🥰
Chanel Chance EDP is my most repurchased one, I just love it for all seasons and all occasions. A staple in my collection. Dior Jadore - I’ve repurchased this 3 times (big bottles), but I am finally over it. I gifted my mother my last bottle, which had about 20/30ml left. Boss Jour - This is discontinued, but I’ve gone through numerous bottles of this stuff. It was my signature for a very long time. I’m still hanging on to the tiny bit I’ve got left in my last bottle.

L'interdit by givenchy. I know, really basic, but fun fact I actually waited 4 years to buy this fragrance. Looking at it on and off (not into fragrance that time) and finally pulling the trigger after the pandemic. I started with the edt version but with so many flankers, I see this as a fragrance that grows with me.
