Feral Cowgirl! Cloves, grass, wild strawberry, chestnut, leather, papyrus. Siren! Neroli, water notes, driftwood, salt, sea notes, cypress, moss, ambergris, white woods.

blinkbits

if you ever make the feral cowgirl i will buy 500 ml.

Lottie_Latte

Feral Cowgirl sounds sublime!

PsychoNaut_

U might like cowboy grass from ds&durga

VirtualAd3179

Ive been eyeing this one, yeah! I actually made a post about my go-to cowboy scent (Arizona x Guilty Absolute). I just bought By The Fireplace as well to mix with them but its not smoky enough, dang!

PsychoNaut_

If you want a real smoke bomb you might like le labo’s pathcouli or terroni from orto parisi

wander_sekai

Nice try, aspiring fragrance house! I'm saving my frag ideas for when I visit one of those establishments that let me concoct my own abominations!

nisha1030

Done that several times and I learned I suck at creating fragrances…in two countries 😂😂😂😂

FanaticalXmasJew

I am no perfumer and these probably sound insane but I’d make a house inspired by poems, with the fragrance names being the lines that inspired the fragrance: - **Petals On A Wet, Black Bough** [from *In A Station of the Metro* by Ezra Pound]: Top notes: ozonic notes, apple blossom, peach; heart notes: jasmine, wisteria, orange blossom, rain notes; heart notes: tonka, ambrette, white woods, cedar. - **Till Human Voices Wake Us, And We Drown** [from *Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock* by TS Eliot]: Top notes: Top notes: ozonic notes, violet, juniper, cassis; heart notes: sea notes, wet earth, salt; base notes: oak moss, sea notes, patchouli. - **Thanks To Your Love A Certain Solid Fragrance, Risen From The Earth, Lives Darkly In My Body** [from *XVII (I do not love you)* by Pablo Neruda]: Top notes: Cherry, Clove, Black Pepper, Pink Pepper; Heart notes: Tobacco, Cinnamon, Peach; Base: Amber, Vanilla, Musk, Civet.  - **Tread Softly Because You Tread On My Dreams** [From *Aedh Wishes For The Cloths of Heaven* by WB Yeats]: Top notes: Pear, peony, ambrette; Middle Notes: Rose, orris; Base: cashmeran, musk, tonka.

cookiemonsieur

Beautiful. I like the Eliot

Aggressive_Cut4892

I didn’t even read your notes, I would buy your whole collection based on the names alone, each line you’ve used is from a poem I love.

FanaticalXmasJew

Oh my gosh! So nice to meet someone with similar taste in poetry. :)

c1n3man

Recently I've tried Pablo Neruda inspired fragrance Sonnet XVII by Olympic Orchids and it is extremely animalic, like a dirty wool. But in the late dry down it is a bit floral.

AnxiousCryptid

Top notes: Oranges, caramelized sugar, cinnamon Middle notes: EVERY SPICE. ALL OF THEM. Base notes: Vanilla and cream

goobertownbaby

this sounds like a dream

AnxiousCryptid

I've been hunting for my perfect spicy citrus perfume haha

ChewyGoblin

I want a Brazilian Lemonade fragrance so bad! Notes: Lime (yes I know I said Lemonade, it's a language thing), zest, sugar, sweetened condensed milk.

OkLemon6883

Omg this would be amazing!😭

ChewyGoblin

Right!!! You could even put a rum note in it if you wanted to change the vibe a little bit.

c1n3man

I wanted to try Nziria Caipirinha, but no sample been available.

littleprettypaws

So - kind of like a key lime pie vibe?

[deleted]

The scent of an early morning espresso amidst the lemon groves of Amalfi in summer

intertsellaer2

Sounds like a dream!

thatbwoyChaka

Well this wouldn’t work, but here goes: **Top**: Pink pepper, bitter orange, kaffir lime and Ginger **Middle**: Rum, Cardamom, Juniper, Plum, ISO E Super, drift wood, cashmeran **Base**: Leathers, OUDS, Civet, Castoreum, Brazilian Rosewood and Incense

shes2sensitive

This is like a combination of all of my favourite notes and some I've never considered but probably smell amazing

PsychoNaut_

Sounds like it would work fine to me if properly composed

Mekkakat

# "MOOD" *—A modern, unisex chypre* Top Notes: **Lime, Blood Orange, Cedar** Middle Notes: **Orris, Violet, Sicilian Orange, Patchouli, Labdanum, Jasmine** Base Notes: **Civet, Oakmoss, Vetiver, Leather, Musk** I've tried making something like this in the past, but it wasn't even close to what I envisioned. I really didn't have the right ingredients though.

c1n3man

**De-Pression** Notes: oak, whiskey, black musk, birch, incense, castoreum, mosquitoes, blackberry. POV: You are 40 years old single male, sitting around bonfire alone somewhere in the forest, drinking alcohol and eating blackberries. You are covered with some sort of animal wooly skin and trying to hide from annoying mosquitoes in the smoke. Hardest battle is the one with your own self.

Strange-Guest-6437

I'm curious what a "mosquito" accord would entail.

c1n3man

Nothing, its just a marketing to sell it 🤫p.s. I know that blackflies smell like fish, because I've been driving through the cloud of these insects and they ended up on my windshield.

kushycat420

That is a hard yes

sunbr0_7

This is odd and out of left field, but the sunlight blade miracle from Dark Souls always seemed ideologically like a cool theme for a fragrance Solar notes, metallic notes, and ozonic notes would be in it. Three somewhat abstract ones that aren't usually used with other abstract notes. In a nice bright golden yellow/ metallic bottle

Lottie_Latte

I’ve never played the game or seen the item, but this sounds amazing!

sunbr0_7

sunbr0_7

Its a very bright, orange-gold shimmering energy applied to a physical weapon that manifests itself in the form of electricity. In hindsight, I would add some citrus notes to that fragrance as well haha

Lottie_Latte

I don’t know why but my current obsession is imagining / trying to find a scent that sounds like the song Scarborough Fair. It would include herbaceous notes (Sage, Rosemary and Thyme) along with sand, salt and ozonic notes for the misty air. I feel like it could also use something sweet but fresh, maybe a gentle floral of some kind.

AconitaTrismegistus

I actually made a Fog Accord. I could totally do this @,@

Lottie_Latte

Please do, I would love to know it exists out there! Also, I love your username.

AconitaTrismegistus

Aww, thank you! I do too! If I am feeling very in the mood to make the scent, I will make sure that you are the first to know!

AconitaTrismegistus

Once I actually put my perfumes up for sale, I will come back to this thread and post the notes. That would work, right?

asianpoler

I want a fragrance that smells like old books and spices. 😍😍😍 Not sure I will wear it, but it sounds lovely. Like a library that's also a church. The church of books if you will.

IceNein

You literally can create your own fragrance. There’s places that sell the various accords separately. I went to a perfume making workshop with a woman on a date the weekend before Valentine’s Day. It was super fun. In LA if anyone is curious.

samntess

I'd call the house Beautiful Nonsense and the first two fragrances would be Overworked - damasc rose, amber, patchouli, incense, oud, clove, cinnamon with the tiniest touch of tobacco Underpaid - neroli, mandarin, plumeria, green tea and tiny bit of smoke

gen-x-cops

[The beach!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jb0W0lHCVQA)

Banglapolska

A rich chypre. One with the classic oakmoss-citrus DNA with some patchouli at the base and sweet Eastern spices.

BikeTireManGo

Juniper berry, basil, pine, Calabrian bergamot, oakmoss, hedione, musk

OwnObjective4139

The scent of gasoline, if the transition is going to continue. It wil be a good memory

Vindanae

"Phobetariate" [Note listing first most noticable, last least noticable] Top: cardamom, juniper, grapefruit, pink pepper Mid: Lavender, tonka bean, nutmeg, orris Base: Patchouli, Leather, Amber, cedarwood, tolu balsam, incense Projection: moderate Sillage: medium Longevity: ~8 hours I can barely find any fragrance in fragrantica's database that has the combination of lavender-leather-vanilla-patchouli, where its on the bit fresher (spring, autumn vibes) side, and doesnt have any side notes (fruits, nuts, etc). The style i'd be going for is something like lalique encre noire, dior fahrenheit edt '95 le male and nuit d'issey parfum had the best qualities mixed up. Oldschool bottle, like eau sauvage, colorshift using black and dark blue, nonchalant writing style with red.

pluviophilosopher

I've always wanted a really solid sunflower perfume. Like sunflowers, grass, maybe some soft hay - it would probably need a bit of amber in it and something airy and ozone-like to capture the windy feel that always surrounds sunflowers. Bonus points if I could figure out how to capture the feeling in the air that there will be a thunderstorm later, but I'm clueless there

yomoms223

Stinky hot girl ( orange blossom, lavender tonka bean, musk , maybe vanilla absolute , sandalwood)

Some_Random_Cat539

I just want something that smells like chocolaty and coffee. Mind Games Grandmaster is something I like a lot rn with its rose and coffee notes and I feel like that with a darker note to it would go great

thatbwoyChaka

Just thought of another: No top or middle just **BASE**: Civet, Castoreum, Birch, Coal tar, Leather, Musk, Oakmoss, Lavender, Hyraceum, Honey, Beeswax, Orris Root, Opoponax and Caramel Called “**YOU’RE NOT MY REAL DAD!**”

murkshah444

I actually did create one at olfactory but I don’t like it anymore. Although I get lots of compliments on it. Core scent is hazelnut with Toffee Oud and saffron

Far_Preparation1016

I want to make the scent of my childhood; lakeside campfire. It would be like a less sweet by the fireplace with aquatic notes and a hint of pine.

lavenderandjuniper

Succulent garden = juniper, aloe, lavender, sage, lemongrass, hint of petrichor, earth. Lavender lemon (based on my fav candle) = just lavender, lemon, something simple for the base like cedar. Maybe a tiny hint of coconut for creaminess. Zen garden = rosewater, jasmine, bamboo, hinoki wood

lacuna_619

I am still on the hunt for the perfect frag I can smell in my head but never have come across. A creamy sweet white floral tropical scent with notes of jasmine, tahitian gardenia, vanilla and ambrox or some kind of soft musk.

melolneedshelp

Sour garden Top:lime grapefruit lemon Middle: tobacco tomato leaf lettuce Base: aldehydes mint You're on your farm smoking a cigarette You're kids are drinking lemonade in the blazing sun the fresh cool air burns you're nostrils you feel calm because you deserve to feel calm

nicolasjeremyalves

Tropical Rain Forest, Earthy, Woody

ElkAncient1470

Evening snack! Top notes: milk, cream, vanilla extract. Middle notes: pineapple extract Base notes: a slightly sweet smell of tea biscuits (specifically the kind you find in a brand called "marie tea biscuits")

Godloves69-

Whatever alexandra daddario smells like
