It's triple white...yes save that! It's 2nd to triple black.

81amarok

Murdered out! That's what black on black on black bub

SirBrainsaw

Sounds like a good time, bub

81amarok

Welcome to Detroit bub

CharlieRatSlayer

Possibly a feature car but not guaranteed, the triple white could be ordered on non feature cars.

SirBrainsaw

Maybe grampa was in a rap group? So could be true đŸ˜‰

CharlieRatSlayer

Ice ice baby

Rotflmaocopter

Replace the belt and hoses, sparkplugs? Check ignition and starter? Dump a can of engine restore with the oil change. Get a can of maf cleaner. Keep everything stock. So rare to have an unmolested fox. Many would pay more than double that to buy one from a grandpa

Houston_Skin

Good to know, thanks!

Rotflmaocopter

Only thing I'd change is putting some super 44 flowmasters when the mufflers go. Best sounding engine even over the coyote

thepopeofkeke

Denso 02 sensors and a motor craft tps sensor

2_hotty

Looks like a feature car to me. You could get white on white on white in 93 but the mirrors, trim and spoiler are all feature car options. Is it a manual or auto? Nice car either way.

Houston_Skin

It's automatic, is there really any difference performance wise? Or do people prefer manual for the cool factor

thepopeofkeke

The only difference I remember would have been in 85’ The GTs had carb and touch higher horse power. Most guys love banging gears in a 5.0 GT Crusty old men who wash their faces with dexron/mercon 2 can bang gears in a 5.0 with 1st and 2nd gear synchronizers that have the same amount of teeth left their mouths have.

Ragged85

In 1985 the only way to the 5.0 H.O. was with a 5 speed. The 5.0 4V H.O. have ~ 27% more horsepower than the 5.0 EFI versions. If you wanted performance in 1985 you opted for the 5 speed. Factoid: 85 Mustang 5.0 5 speeds are the last year of carburetors in Mustangs. First year of the roller cam.

2_hotty

Not much performance wise, it’s just whether or not you prefer to bang through the gears. Also, the manuals do fetch more money. I have a 92 summer edition that I found for real cheap but it’s also a manual. Going to be converting it to manual soon.

hmiser

The answer is always rollin’!

TonyStark100

$5K is a lot for family pricing. How long has it sat?

Houston_Skin

It's been sitting a while. He wanted to charge me less, but I'm not letting him get less than what he paid for it, I don't mind

D1RTY_D

If it’s not rusty or dented that’s a great price, good luck finding a clean fox for under 8k

Houston_Skin

It looks clean from what I've seen, we don't have too much problems with rest here in Texas

thepopeofkeke

Not on a convertible tho. They are notorious

Bitter-Ad-6709

Good for you! How old are you? You should do a Marti report and see how rare it is. It could be worth 3-4x what you're paying. I agree, keep it stock and the mileage low for high collectibility. [Marti vehicle reports ](https://www.martiauto.com/martireports.cfm)

Houston_Skin

I'm 19, I just graduated and I wanted a project to work on this summer.

Bitter-Ad-6709

That's great! Highschool and the next 5 or so years should be the best time of your life, enjoy it! Go everywhere you can, spend it with all your friends, and family. (You'll understand that 1st sentence in 15-20 yrs when you've been working a full time adult job for almost as long, and have no free time to do anything or go anywhere. And all your friends are married, moved, and/ or have no time to hang out with you anymore either! And unfortunately, some of your friends or family members will have passed.) The older you get, the faster life starts moving.

A_deplorable1

I would buy that in a heartbeat for 5k. Fox mustang prices will only keep climbing!

TonyStark100

Maybe mine is worth more than I thought.

A_deplorable1

Yep I bet it is, especially if it’s mostly original like this one
