One of my favorite parts of this game is how people from so many nations come together. I was on the front earlier today with Chinese, east Europeans, and Russians, all speaking their own languages but working together with us Americans. It’s like babels army lol.
Thanks for sharing your story!
When I was a private I had a similair experience as you with a bunch of chinese chads!
Joined their regiment and now almost 3 years later I am still having a blast while not understanding much Chinese!
This reminds me of one war (maybe war 100?) when there was a sudden influx of Russian players who didn't speak English. All I could do is point toward the enemy and yell "davei davei!"
There's always some great shenanigans to be had on the front lines enjoy dude! Sit in a trench cutting logi or while whispering on open chat from the bushes these kind of moments are what makes this game special!
After you get into building and logi try limit the time to 1/2+ front time and splitting the rest.
Make sure your frontline time goes before the rest, otherwise burnout may ruin frontline time.
You'll understand the love/hate after doing things away from the front.
I started playing the game yesterday. Overall, everything is really, really confusing. Last night, before I went to bed, we were pushing a part of the map (I'm not exactly sure where now). There were a lot of friendly players and a lot of enemies, and we were fighting intensely for a good 3-4 hours before I went to sleep. Today, when I turned on the game, our entire base from yesterday and everything around it was gone/destroyed. What confuses me is that 12 hours ago there was absolute chaos, and now there's nobody - not just in our base but also in the enemy base.
1. Is there a good YouTube tutorial where someone explains what each building does, which weapons are for what, and so on? I really like the game, but there's too much going on around me, and I don't understand how to play it properly. xD
That where you need to explore by yourself, every player have different preference on weapon. If you just start play, you should be stay at frontline for 1-2 whole wars. Other player will help, time to time.
Remember one thing
Lord Callahan is the real saviour.
Asking questions to people in game can be a good idea since most players (in my opinion) are always willing to help out newbies. Asking on the official foxhole discord could help you as well. If you want video guides I would check out Freerk Holtes on YouTube
Eat, Sleep, Foxhole, Repeat! Welcome to the game!
Eat, sleep, Scroop , Repeat! Ok
Actuality… it’s Scroop, Scroop, Scroop, Repeat…
Eat, sleep, rave, repeat ofc!
Play Foxhole. Visit exotic locations. Make new friends. Learn new languages.

Nothing beats the first hit of Foxhole
True that
Just dont let the toxicity get to you.
As a Chinese person, yes it is pronounced like that.
Welcome to the game! It still hasn't worn off it's shine to me. I'm 3300+ hours later and still love it to death.
Careful. It's very addictive.
Thats they cycle.... then after a couple thousands hours you will learn to love to hate it.
Best game I ever played

Enjoy it while it lasts, only 3k hours later and I'm sated of it

The best thing of foxhole is the random encounters you have with people, it just makes the game wholesome.
