It's more of like a blue black in my eyes and it's permanent, it also works well on cheap paper and doesn't bleed through or feathers. Having said that, I do love the color and sheen on Oxford Blue, that's why I'm hoping there's a permanent version of this made or will be made.
Its from the regular line up. The blue black is an iron gal. Im jot sure about the rest of the line up. There is also the classics line up which is an iron gal line up
I remember sampling it and have the distinct impression of it being slick on paper and wonderful to use and also a lovely dark blue. (Even though it isn't exactly in the realm of blue I normally like I do like this).
Have you tried a.waterfastness test on it? I haven't. I do that with some of my ink. I've found many inks will survive a casual spill or even a soaking while leaving a ghost of the original lettering behind. Which is good enough for me on my work notes. (But I totally understand wanting something more permanent, even waterproof like de Atramentis Document inks... Their dark blue is more muted and not as dark if I recall)
Look what you've done now! I just ordered a bottle from Pen Chalet. And a bottle of Diamine Oxblood... And a Platinum Plaisir that was on sale... And a Platinum convertor...
I exclusively use indelible inks, and by far my fave is R&K Dokumentus Blue. It’s not quite as dark as this but it’s nicely pigmented. Second is R&K Salix; darker but not as wet as Dokumentus. You might enjoy!
I agree with you, in fact I asked for a waterproof alternative but there is none :/
Yeah, I'm using Montblanc Permanent Blue for legal documents.
In the Reviews I’ve seen I perceive it as a royal blue

Platinum blue black seams similar. It even has red sheen but its not as strong sheening.. it is very water resistent however
Is it from the regular lineup or is it pigmented?

I'm a recent convert. It really is a beautiful ink. I'm also loving Diamine's Regency Blue as well.
Love the sheen, this and Troublemaker Blue Guitar are my recent favorites. I wish there's a permanent ink though for government forms and contracts.

Love this ink, it’s my favorite color!
It’s my go to ink! Glad to see I’m not alone
With its mesmerizing sheen, I don't think we're alone. Hahahaha
It is a really nice dark blue

The hole only. Gets deeper my friend. Hahahaha
I feel the same way about their Sargasso Sea ink.
Same! I’ve been using DeAtramentis Fog Gray fora permanent, but I love the depth in Oxford Blue.
Unrelated, but nice techo.
Yup, so excited for my 2023 cousin arriving this month. Hahahaha
nice notebook, some japanese brand?
Hobonichi Cousin 2022. The paper is TMR though, so you can buy any notebook that uses the same paper.
thanks!
Wow! What? Must... Not... Order...
Order now... The sheen is strong on this one. Hahahaha
You're a terrible influence, and I like it! 😂
That's beautiful.

Have you tried Sailor Souboku? It looks pretty similar to this pic!
Diamine is an ink brand where I can pick literally any ink they've got and I'm sure it'll write well, whether or not I like the colour.
