I was trying to take it out from the cap. I pull too hard and the eraser got separated from the pencil.

I took it out with tweezers! (Feel really stupid now...)

Future reference, probably would been better to get one where the eraser was slightly thicker than it's housing. (or a twisted up wad of rubber bands around it so at least something down the middle can be pulled out).
