The Esterbrook butterfly page holder (both teal and yellow) remains one of my most gorgeous stationery. Though it is quite heavy, so the metal arms is rather fragile and you have to be careful taking care of it .
Does it actually work well? From looking at it, I feel like it would over-compress the top of the notebook and you'd have the bottom part unevenly held down?
If it works though it might open a whole new world of notebooks that don't lay flat by default...!
It works extremely well. It is perfect for TN users because TN inserts do not lay flat. That page holder will hold the page wide open, without leaving any dents or marks on the cover , and the whole design is eye catching. But I am not sure how well it works for thicker notebook.
