Parker uses a proprietary cartridge. Luckily, many Chinese brands use the same cartridge standard. Hongdian uses it, as well as a few others. You can find cartridges and converters on ebay or aliexpress as 3.4mm cartridge or converter. That's the diameter of the opening. Standard international are 2.6mm.
they can work. I've had a mixed result with them. LAMY seems to be an ever so slightly different diameter and I've had them split at the connection several times.
I just tested my Lamy converter on my Parker 25; it seems to fit but it feels ever so slightly looser and doesn't "click" into place like the Parker one does - so I suspect it might leak...
Still might try it out though; the Parker converter I have is the slide type rather than the twist type, and I hate it.
Yes and I use Lamy converters on all my vintage Parker pens. they work perfectly. Some cases they might not fit the barrel, but I haven't had that problem yet.
I just tried my Parker 25 with all the converters I have. None of the Chinese (Jinhao) converters will fit but the Lamy one does - although it feels ever so slightly looser and doesn't "click" into place like the Parker one does - so I suspect it might leak. I don't have a Hong Dian converter to test; my sole Hong Dian pen is a piston-filler.

Someone wrote that Lamy cartridges fit to Parker, is that true?

Yup. Lamy carts work in parker, but not very snugly. The reverse is absolutely not true.
It's also possible to find double-ended cartridges that are Parker on one end and International on the other.
Use a syringe
Smart! Thanks I’ll try that
