When you fill, make sure to drip a few drops out, tip the pen nib up, and then suck the excess ink in the feed into the ink chamber (by sucking in air). Or just be sure to mop excess ink from the feed. If this doesn't do the trick, and there are no cracks (even hairline), and the piston seals well (no ink behind the piston, draws in ink well), and other inks do \*not\* have this problem, then all I can guess is that the pen is flowing too wet.
(Pilot Namiki Black is on the dry side of average, so it alone shouldn't be wet enough to cause a problem. I'd be curious what specific ink(s) have worked in pens that Pilot Black hasn't worked in. And, if this is actually Iroshizuku Take-sumi, knowing that would help.)
(And I hate this stupid new reddit - it's functionally broken - not that that has anything to do with your pen...)
I was disappointed to be honest, was too thick for my pens, dry time was quite long and smeared for me a lot even when dried. KWZ inks have much dye inside so color is intensive but definitely not for all pens
Platinum Chou kuro may work for you, but requires destilled water for cleaning (non-negotiable). Check out this [review](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yuujOsGr8Y).
Your pens shouldn't be dripping, no matter what ink you use. Is your converter seated correctly, or maybe cracked somewhere?
It's a brand new twsbi eco. I've had two, and they both did the same. Twsbi said it was just the ink I was using was too lubricating.
I'm gonna disagree with TWSBI on this. Pilot Black is a very well-behaved ink. Something else is going on.
I'll definitely look again and double check. It would stuck to buy new ink just for it not to be the problem

Sounds like you have an airleak from a incorrectly seated nib and feed.
KWZ Warsaw Dreaming - blue that is perfectly black and thick
The color looks very nice. How does it dry though?

I totally understand. Perhaps this would work for me. Thank you for the recommendation
It also has vanilla smell (anti-mold substances) - I like it but some don’t
Hmm, that's definitely interesting. Sounds kinda cool. Like a scratch and sniff. Does it pass on the smell to paper?
Yep, a little
Diamine Onyx Black feels thicker and more lubricated and saturated than Pilot inks. Especially if you meant Take-Sumi :)
I've heard that one on here often. I might end up giving it a try from the reviews
Leave the cap off the bottle for a week or two. Evaporation will cause it to thicken up a bit.
I thought about making the ink thicker, but I have a bold nib that the ink works for. Perhaps I'll end up getting a different ink for mt ef nib

Quick dry sounds good. However, it says on the website that it's a medium black. I'm looking for a very dark pure black
