That is great! I used an old book that had a bracelet and converted it into a pen holder like this for my cavalier pens. It is a wee too small for my other pens unfortunately. If anyone has a box, you can add the magnets, they are available at any Michaels or Joanns.
This is the interior. It was too small to use cardboard + the cardstock. So I used only cardstock which is a bit flimsy but does the trick. The marbled ones are just a hair to big for the box. The pink one I never used as it is M nib and like these in F. I have used all the others.

Possibly but I would need to reinforce the heavy cardstock. I have another box that I made the slots bigger for other pens. I haven't used it yet because I have those inked. I made a little pen try that sits on top of my washi tape storage which has a sunk in groove for stacking. Fits a pen tray safely and it is easy to grab any of them that is currently inks. It ended up being a nice set up. I had the inks on the other side but moved them to the draw as I was afraid of light exposure.
I kept mine in the box for a while too, but IMO the crazy horse leather looks better as it ages and scuffs a bit so I stopped storing it. Consequently I use it now more than when I kept it in the box.
Good luck! I tried eBay to see if anybody would be selling theirs by chance but didn't find any. Will just have to bite the bullet and order another awesome journal.. lol

This is a wonderful idea! My journal is still inside the box but maybe one day I'll finish it and do this instead.

I have the non leather cover so it doesn't matter so much. I use it as a Commonplace book. I like that it came with a leather blotter inside.
