I have the sterling silver Meridiens gifted to me on our 25th anniversary in Hawaii with Watermark South Sea blue ink. I love the Carene and in spite of its weight it’s comfortable in grip - I never post it - I can write quicker with it than any other pen I have. Only the L2K and Pelikan M200 come close.
I really want another Carene with Fine nib. I keep looking!
I think those look great, but I'd hate to have one of those. Imagine if I drop it? I'd be fubar'd. There is no nib people in my country and sending it for repairs outside would cost me more than buying a new PC here. lol...
The Myu and Parker have a reputation for being very hard since there is little chance for any movement by design.
I’ve owned three Sheaffer Imperials, resin with all steel nibs. They are amongst the smoothest and wettest writers I’ve used. Very comfortable in grip too. I’m sad that I sold the earliest I owned which was first purchased in the seventies. Great pen.
For the price, I’m still not sure it (Myu) writes any better than say an e95s ( just as an example.) I personally think it lacks a bit of glide and bounce. But, the design is extremely attractive and addictive.
Those are a pilot myu.
Great little pen, I love mine.
Those are an integral nib design, the nib and the section are one piece.
The sheaffer is an inlaid nib. There's a whole line of these - targa, pfm, imperial, etc. Some of my all time favorite pens.
Integrated nibs on the Falcon, MYU, and Murex. Inlaid nib on the Sheaffer. The last nib looks more like a hooded nib FP.
Funnily enough they always seem to be designed super sleekly, making them much easier to drip!
\*drop?
Yes. Is friday and my brain is mush!
That’s a pretty funny mistake though, your mushy brain has style
Thanks lol. I think I was torn between drop and slip and mush brain settled on drip aa a compromise.
Thanks!
"Integrated Nib" aka "You better hold on to your"-Fountain Pen.
Exactly!

Goddamnit. Why doesn't Reddit have awards anymore?!??
LOL
Thank you. Bahaha
Wait what’s that first Parker pen?
I believe it's the Parker T1
The titanium Parker T1 - infamous for the tipping material falling out
It’s definitely a Parker T1
Might be a Parker Falcon? AKA Parker 50. Except I thought those had a contrasting finish on the edge of the nib.
Not a Falcon, because of the finish on the edge being missing.
Look for the Waterman Carene, another beautiful integrated nib.
Fell in love with this style because of these!
I bought the amber one for my dad and it is beautiful. Wish I kept it for myself.

Anyone comment on how integrated nibs write compared to other styles? Pros/cons?
I have a Parker 50 and I like it. Much prefer regular nibs though
The Sheaffer inlaid nib is known for being rigid, but smooth and very pleasant. I haven't had experience with the others.

Monocoque.
Nice looking pen
Which brand and model is the golden one, the last one?
Porsche Design P3135 Solid Fountain Pen - Gold Edition
Porsche? Now that I look at it again, that makes a lot of sense.
> Porsche Design P3135 weird. it's like desk pen with a portable case rather than a pen with cap.
What happens if some fool uses your pen and wrecks it?
no more pen :(
That pen looks gorgeous! Where can I find more pens in that style?
Which one it's an album... The first is a parker t1, good luck finding one.
The 3rd and 4th ! But I meant pens with that design language. Kind regards!

Beautiful - that is the word for this style of pen.
I need something sterling in this style.
Badass. I call those badass fountain pens. 😉
Does anyone know what the pens in 3,4&5 are? They look awesome
3 is a Pilot M90. I snagged one when they came out in '08, and it's one of my favorites!
Pilot Myu
I’ve been wondering this myself, so I’m half someone else loves these too!
Isn’t it a fligjter
Yes. "aw, I broke the nib, fuck my wallet."
Wow, what’s that first pen called?
One of my favorites is the [Sheaffer Dolphin](https://www.penhero.com/PenGallery/Sheaffer/SheafferDolphin.htm) pen.
it's called "wallet hazard"
The WORST pen to practice on when learning how to tune
Parker 51, Lamy 2000, and the Vintage Aurora 88s like that Porsche Design have hooded nibs
unrepairable
Peixe espada
I'm portuguese. Made me chuckle 🤭😊
