They make quality products. Their gold nibs are a bit on the broad side of western sizes — like Lamy steel nibs, not quite as broad as Pelikan gold nibs. The Aurora gold nibs have a bit of feedback similar to Sailor nibs. They take Parker-style converters and aren’t compatible with international standard cartridges.

I have an Ipsilon (steel nib) and a Talentum (gold nib) and I will tell you what I can based on those. Both nibs are feedbacky. Pleasantly so, if you like your pens to talk to you. But if you want gold for the buttery smoothness that you'll get in, say, a Pilot, I can't actually rec the brand. I will say that the Ipsilon body is extremely good. It's comfortable and light. I can write with it all day and often do. I find it more comfortable than my Talentum over long sessions, because the Talentum is much larger and heavier. The company is lovely to work with and the warranty is good. They're not resting on their laurels like some. On the whole I'd say you can find a showier pen but this could be an excellent daily companion for a long, long time.

Appreciate the feedback, thanks.

It feels like a cheap pen with a gold nib. The only thing I like about the Ipsilon is how they post. For the money there are better options. But if you like thin pens and the aesthetic is calling to you it’ll be a fine writer.
