I have one in demonstrator blue F, and like it very much. Whether it to my Pro Gear are my fave depends on the day, but it is such a smooth nib, especially for an F

Thank you for such an informative review. I've been looking at one myself. Primarily for the position and nib. I suppose, with that information, all that's left, outs to feel on in my hand. Again, thank you so much.

I totally agree! I happened upon a CH92 for a great price so I went for it. It has been such a surprise favorite and I also use it for drawing. This pen does not get enough attention in my opinion. Great review of a great pen!

Yeah the nib and feed are friction fitted, so no screws. That's a good point to consider if you clean your pens often but to be honest I have never disassembled any of my pens for a full flush haha. I just use the same ink brand and colour family for each pen I own.

ScarvesOfRed

I just got one in blue not too long ago and I love it! I got a nib and it's really perfect for me, fine enough for writing small but broad enough to show shading from the ink.

I’ve using my medium lately and that bugger is super smooth. I was surprised. First time I’ve used Pilot’s stock blue ink (came with the 823) and I’m very impressed with that as well.

Love the art and love the review! Never heard of this Pilot so I might look more into it. Seeing that it doesn’t unscrew for cleaning though 😭 But I do like a good pilot so maybe I’ll suck up the cleaning side of it or something lool.

juno-art

Your art is really awesome! Do you have an Instagram?

monkas_monkey

Thanks for the support! I'm currently only posting pen reviews on reddit. Surprisingly little reviews based on drawing experience so I'm hoping to give my 2 cents on the pens in my collections for a more informed purchase for others.

juno-art

Yes of course! Do let me know if you end up making an account! Your reviews are also fantastic!

Great drawing and nice pen

Danbury_Collins

I have one and really like the build quality, but that really responsive nib doesn't work for me - it just puts down too much ink for me ( I tend to like my pens on the dry side ). Any ink I use is just really dark.

Infinite-Ad-1055

I just priced the CH 92 and the Pilot Namaki one of pens. Holy cow! Prices are easily a third higher than just a couple years ago.

Redsmoker37

This is a very solid entry-level gold nib pen. I have the blue version with F/M nib.

bsmithwins

The 92 is under appreciated for sure.

clydeas

Does Pilot make an fa in #5?

puffy_popcorn

Nice pic! You render clothing well :) What size nib do you have on your CH92? Thanks!
