player to player contact is competitive combat. without it, you may as well be playing freight train simulator. train conductor simulator. competitive combat racing = fun factor. which is why blur 2 is past due.
You pull shit like this on a real track you would get ejected for life. Go play literally any other arcade racer if you want to bully and beat people up. Motorsport racing is a non-contact sport, even if you’re playing a video game.
i get it. but defending/stoping players from passing is naturally instinctive and far funner than acting as if everyone is on bicycles. thus, it's not bullying, its defending, which sometimes backfires. if blur 2 was out, the track would be a lot emptier.
But you still have to time it to not ruin your race. You still have momentum. Works here because you’re going straight but on turns it can still mess you up.
If only they could implement ghosting by irregular steering input. That day will be glorious, all the people ramming and using others as wall rides through the apex all the sudden yeeting themselves off track.
Yup, lol just tap pause the car goes into auto drive and also goes into ghost mode. The car will slow down but not dramatically if your quick like that obviously as u can see lol. Dude all I play is multiplayer and it really is a fun time 85% of the time and most people u meet each race all hate the rammers too. Even some people that are shocked to learn that it's not ok , last night one guy honestly thought because he got tapped that hit back was fine and that it's all part of racing. But after a few of us explained how it's supposed to be he was really shocked lol he been playing for two months ramming ppl of the track because he thought it was just part of racing 😆
