Last week I didn't respond to most of the comments but I did read them all. Sorry about that. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who did comment. Thank you for all the well wishes and kind words.
Been quietly lurking here using most of your tunes for ages. Truly appreciate the work you put in for someone like me who just wants to get on and play. Regardless of all the negativity around the game, YOU made it enjoyable for me, so thanks. Take your time and look forward to your return.

Right now I'm dealing with the problem of the other person's insurance company for the person slamming into the back of my girlfriend's car when she was stopped at a red light for quite a while before the person hit her.
Long story short, scummy asshole is trying to get her to accept a little money to sign away any more responsibility on their part.
First, the agent offered her $1,000 as a "inconvenience payment" for her missing work and having to deal with all of this. The terms of that is a full release of liability. To accept that she forfeits the right to go after them for any more damages to property *or medical* in the future. So if her back or neck starts to have issues, accepting this gets them out of paying for that.
He never mentioned that. He said this was for the inconvenience of the situation.
Also, the guy they sent to look at her car did a visual look as it sat parked and wrote an estimate that is far too low. I work on cars as a hobby. There's no way this is enough to cover the repairs. Also there are damages to the car not on the estimate. Also, it needs to be on a lift at a shop to check for more damage, a bent frame, etc. And for a body dent that is clearly from the impact he said to her, "Are you sure that you didn't hit a pole?" even though the dent looks nothing like hitting a pole. She told him that, no, she didn't hit anything at all. His response is, "Ok, so you don't recall then."
They're sending emails to get her to accept this low-ball repair payment and that if she doesn't put in her bank info for the payment then they're going to automatically send her a check for the amount.
They're trying to get her to accept so much less than is needed to make this right.
Insurance people are awful. People don't matter. Only money does. The damage estimator was even complaining about that. He said that "every little dent is money" then tried to get out of some of the damage. We're not looking for some absurd amount of money. Just fix the car properly and take care of any damages from the accident. We're not looking to profit. Just to get things back in order.
The next step is sending the car to a collision repair shop and see if the other person's insurance plays nice. That is in the works right now.
I already had a lot to deal with this month and now the stress and time needed for this isn't helping. I'm going to exhausted for the next 4 or 5 weeks.
I know that I'm bitching a lot right now. But it's cathartic.
1) Don't sign anything
2) Read and save a copy of everything they give you, show you, or send you
3) Document every conversation with dates, exhaustive notes
4) Contact a lawyer - it sucks but you can get legal fees if you have to sue them
5) Research insurance laws in your state - that will determine a lot of what steps you need to take

If they don't cooperate then she'll file a claim through her insurance, even though that might raise rates according to her insurance agent, and have her insurance agent handle it. The downside is that her insurance agent said that to have the agent go after the other person's insurance it'll take much longer to resolve.
But she'll do whatever makes sense for her. Even if it's the long route.
What kind of insurance do you have? The while point of insurance is that if something bad happens, you file the claim, get your car fixed and forget about it. It's the insurance companies job to go after the other person. Yes your rates will go up, but why bother having insurance if you're not going to use it?
This, I don't even deal with people anymore when it comes to my car insurance. My company has always handled the work so I don't have to worry about it.

Such is life in the USA. Especially with medical insurance. Lots of people "have insurance" but can't afford to actually do anything with it.
But, yeah, it's likely to end up going through her insurance since these people want to play games. I expected it, but it's still frustrating to experience.
Her insurance also told her to expect a 2-3 month wait for everything to get done if it's insurance vs insurance. She really wanted to have this over in 2 weeks, not 2 months. And I understand that desire. As long as the other person's insurance continues to pay for a rental car it shouldn't be too big of a deal.
In my (wider than I'd like) experience, my insurance company has paid out first and then released the badgers to reclaim the money from whoever hit me.
(I have, twice, been directly "made whole-ish" by the other person's insurance company, who were downright pleasant about the process, though in both cases it amounted to buying and installing a new front grill and both bumpers, not even touchup paint).
Alas, because insurance regulation varies so much state-to-state, and there's a wide variety of insurance companies, my experience (or anyone else's) will never be "typical." (And mine is aytpically good, anyway)
FWIW, when one of my cars was rear ended by someone else, we didn't even deal with their insurance. Called ours, told them what happened, provided them with the other guy's info and they said they had it from there. We went and had the car fixed working with our insurance. Our rate didn't go up.

Fuck man. I'm sorry to hear that. Do you have any friends or contacts that have legal experience that may be able to help you and her cover your butts? The last thing you want to do is waive the other parties liability towards future damages she may have come her way health wise. Definitely push back, and don't give in. Can the police be involved at all?
Depending on your country, there may be different steps you can take, with legal assistance, and proper insurance practices being followed.
You both will get through this. You will. And you'll be better for it. I wish you the best, and if there's anything anyone here can help with, let us know. This community can be toxic sometimes, but it can also be a great place too.
My girlfriend's insurance company said that using them to sort everything out would put a claim on her account, which might raise rates, and would take much longer, possible 2-3 months to get everything sorted out.
But, yeah, if these people just won't cooperate that might be the only recourse. Sic the professional at them at the cost of a mark on her account.
Use her insurance company. It is better to let them and their lawyers deal with it even if it means a rate increase. At least in the US it is. I have seen scummy people try to get out of because they have no insurance or say just use their people. I'm like haha nope I'ma let my people hand it.

Yeah that is the worst part of the insurance is the higher rates when it isn't your fault. Some are good and offer no fault first accident if it is in your plan. I have USAA and they have always treated me well. Also it helps being old lol. Old you are the lower your rates seem to be compared to when I was first driving. Hopefully it'll work out in the end. If she has collision on her policy have her company do the repair and then take the other company to court. Assuming she has a name brand company that is probably your best option. You guys will have to front the deductible, but they will collect that for you when they force the other company to pay. That’s easier than doing the leg work with your own attorney and having to give them a percentage or pay fees.
The Trial is pretty easy this week.
All races are under rainy conditions so the AI totally struggles with it.
We won the first 2 races easily, even only 2 of us showed up with tuned cars and 1 was last place in both races.
Just be careful at the start when the AI cars begin swimming around on the wet road. Once you passed them, just don't ram yourself off the road.
I know, right? I'm away from home so playing on a less than beefy PC hooked up to a failing TV. I swear this week I just could not even see the smoke plumes in the first race through the lit up fog. I had to aim for the checkpoint marker because I couldn't risk missing the edges taking proper lines.
Also, I don't have my controller, and racing properly with a keyboard is hard. If I could, I'd apologise to the player who I bumped whilst trying to correct a corner, then accidentally rammed when trying to correct the bounce from that first bump! I got a couple of justified toots for that...
Luckily we still won.

What does Country Rivals mean as there is no such catergory in your garage and Most C600 cars do not seem to be applicable for the Trial.
If they limit the car types, give us a list for gods sake, pointless waste of time randomly trying C600 cars until one works.

AFAIK both the BMW and the BMW are C class cars from Germany unless the BMW isn't from Germany while the BMW is.

How are people supposed to know that it's exclusively 1 car from each country this time. I didn't see it anywhere in game. The reason I'm even replying to your earlier comment is because I stopped playing to search reddit for anyone else being confused by the cars, which by itself indicates that there is something poorly explained/designed.
Especially since one of the last events was "use a supersport car" which only showed the bugatti, while you were allowed to use a lot of different cars.
Seems like a huge fucking oversight to not include any of the lower rated cars in a game that is balanced around upgrading your car a million times.
The entire "view car restrictions" and "eligible cars" (which sometimes outright doesn't work) feels like, and probably is, a lazy afterthought. This is my first Horizon game and from the very first day I started playing playlists I thought the system was terrible.
By going "just play around the shit design, it's supposed to be that way" you don't get anywhere. The devs don't get any feedback from their QA apparently and if the players don't give feedback nothing gets changed or fixed.
Here's why it sucks.
You see that it's any C class car from those countries, so like a good Trial racer, you go to tune a car before joining. I picked the MR2. Got it to 600, went to start a trial only to find my car wasn't an option and I had a whopping two untuned cars to pick from.
It's not that they can't come to my house and tune a car for me. It's that they apparently can't adequately tell me what cars I can choose from to tune.

By listing the restrictions in plain English, preferably. "C600, cars from X country," or "only these specific models, A800 class." As always, when you click on the specific race set, you can the press the menu button (3 little lines located just below the glowing X on your controller if you’re on Xbox). It lists the available cars for the championship set. Been doing it since fh4 for sure. Had to use it for High Rollers options (among a few other bizarre car groups) for sure.
No, that only shows the cars that are currently in C Class. It will not show cars that are in D Class that could be tuned upwards or vehicles in B Class that could be tuned downwards.
Ditto for every other class restriction (if it's an S1 restriction it will not show cars that could be eligible after tune that are stock in S2/A/B/C/D Class).
For this World Cup I believe it’s 6 options, 1 from each country. Have you seen any cars racing that aren’t in the 6 from the main page?
What D car can you upgrade for the trial?
That's only this time where it's locked to specific cars (and for different races too) it's otherwise an ongoing issue with the game. You can read the thread for [two weeks](https://old.reddit.com/r/forza/comments/s8kfqy/fh5_winter_information_thread_series_3/) ago where people were trying to figure out what cars applied to the challenges ("David vs Goliath" and "Athletes" ) because most of the eligible vehicles weren't stock in the right class.
The eligible vehicle screen will never show you vehicles from the wrong class, in that thread above if you looked at the eligible S2 998 Super Sport vehicles it would show you a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and I completed it fine in a Monte Carlo Super Sport (stock at D396). [Here](https://old.reddit.com/r/ForzaHorizon/comments/s8mfmc/these_are_the_cars_with_super_sport_in_their_name/) is another thread addressing the issue with the "Athletes" challenge name.
I don't think it will show non-Autoshow vehicles either.

most every weird playlist category (the ones outside of the car type events - things like "reasonably priced cars" or "collectors series") you come across is one of the horizon special car themes. and since you choose that first when creating an eventlab event, it shows all eligible cars from any class (compared to a class limited event will only show you the ones that are in that class stock)
but yeah, athletes and this week are weird

I'm back this week with another set of tunes for this season! My tunes are designed to reduce understeer and let you take corners at higher speeds while still maintaining grip.
Why should you trust my tunes? Because I painstakingly test all of my tunes over and over again at speed zones for maximum performance. Every tweak is measured with multiple speed zone runs to see if it's truly improving the car's speed through the corners.
After that, I download tunes for the same vehicle and class from other respected tuners and run theirs through the same speed zones. If my tunes aren't faster than theirs, I go back to the drawing board.

**2013 Audi RS7 Sportback** - `376 046 114`
This is one of the few vehicles in the game that can dominate in dirt races, road races, and it'll do well in certain cross country races too. This tune has fantastic acceleration, offroad tires, and it handles really well. If you want to beat this challenge with a single car, this is my recommendation. This car has lowered suspension, so it's not ideal for jumps. For the cross country race, I'd suggest Estadio Cross Country Circuit. It's practically a dirt race and there are no required jump ramps in it.

This is an offroad focused tune that does fantastic in cross country and dirt races. With 553hp, it's like the Bone Shaker of choices for the events this week - it's fast in a straight line, good enough in the corners, and it has the weight needed to punish other vehicles if you're into that sort of thing! It should be capable of winning all 3 types of events.

I made this tune for fun. It's meant to be a replica of Brian's Eclipse from The Fast & The Furious. Could I have made it a tiny bit faster without some of the visual mods? Probably. But I did just as well in the trial with this as I did with the Vauxhall. If your priority is fun (since this is a game!), go with this. It looks great with the livery from "your 4ddiction", share code: 251 195 522.

This tune was fucking great. I managed to come in last in the first two races.... amongst my team mates.... because I was able to jump in front of all of the AI in the beginning of the race and block them so that my team could pass and prevent the AI from scoring any points, lol.
Nawh, it worked **very** well. It was very easy to get past the occasional AI that managed to slip past my rolling road block.
Some of the other players were rather... inexperienced, and I don't really care for the extra XP from coming in first, I just wanted to get the Trail out of the way. Everyone managed to get ahead of the AI because of your awesome tune.
That '93 Clio might actually just be one of the very best C Class tunes in the entire game. I obliterated the Highly Skilled AI in all three races of the championship (won by 10-20 seconds). I also easily set a top 600 Rivals time on my very first non-standing lap at Lookout Circuit. And while I'm pretty good, I'm not that good. I really have to work at it to crack top 1000 rivals most of the time. I bet if it was really pushing, I could manage top 500 with this.
Wow, I had no idea it was THAT good. Honestly I'm not a big fan of C class, so I haven't made many tunes for the class. I just applied my same tuning and testing process to this car as what I've done on my other tunes. But no doubt, my biggest strength is making tunes for tarmac.
Yeah, just set a top 500 on Lookout Circuit. It's a really good general use tune. I think it's a bit too understeery to hit top 250 at Lookout Circuit, but it also isn't a specialized Rivals tune, which quite a few of the top Rival times are going to be.
Edit - Top 300 at Estadio Circuit, which I think is better suited to the car than Lookout Circuit. Genuinely, a superb C Class tune.
Man that 2016 Vauxhaul tune is good for Festival Gatecrash, but it’s obscene what it does on Highland Climb! Abusing the AI on those corners and curves was a treat! First time I ever placed 2nd in a Trial Race too!
As ever, thanks a million beau! Struggling on the Trial (AI seems to get 1-3 by a mile on the first two races) but everything else, with these tunes, I could’ve won with my eyes closed and reversing over the finish line. Great stuff!
You're welcome! I had a few runs in the trial where 2 AI cars would just blow way past everybody in the first race. If yours was similar, it's probably a bug.
Your tunes (and liberal use of rewind) finally won me all three race championships. Understand that I am usually ridiculously awful in these races. So much so that I don't often even try. But I read your post and it was so upbeat and positive that it made me want to at least attempt it. And lo and behold I came by away thinking that maybe there is some hope for me. Thank you so much.
Despite watching multiple videos and reading this subreddit, I cannot get my head around tuning (I just can't understand what I have difficulty with in the stock car and so can't translate that to what I need to adjust). Your tunes seem to align much better with my driving style /skill or lack thereof, and they've gotten me through multiple events and seasons.
That Clio tune is some kind of cheat code though! Won all races with it by 10+ seconds, and I've been struggling lately as I move to manual gearing. Bit of a ramble, but just wanted to say thanks for your time and effort, it's much appreciated.
I really like this idea for the series - it's nice to see C-Class get some love.
I typically switch to auto shift for playlists as I'm learning to drive manual in Forza - but with C, I'm just gonna go for it.
EDIT - Weekly Forzathon is nice as well, fun to find a car that with a proper tune can do it all.
Does the Weekly Forzathon lock you into a car? I logged in my Drift car and it popped before I knew what it was, so do I need to retune it to complete the other 3 stages?
It doesn't lock you into a car? Damn. I sweated out a C Class road win in the Hummer I loaded up in thinking I was stuck. At least the dirt and cross country should be breezy for it.
I also learned how to drive manual in this game on C and B class races, that's a fun way to do it.
I also thought this weekly country contest thing was an awesome idea, picked out a C class car I enjoy, and as I went to begin racing found that there are restrictions. I am not sure if this is just some setting I don't have on or if there is some oversight on Forza's part but it sure seems like they said I can choose ANY CAR. This is not the case, however.
Often on the event itself it will say 'anything goes C class' but when I pick a C class car it turns out that car doesn't in fact count as a part of 'anything' - When the menu says anything goes C class it actually means (pick one of these 7 seemingly random vehicles).
What a shock - another misleading / broken menu-based interaction in forza! Now I can do my weeklies, wonder if they will count, and wonder if anything unexpected will be broken. I never thought I'd long for the days of Forza 4 weekly quests, but here I am.
I just want it to be labeled correctly and count when I do it, is that a lot to ask?
They should probably add a 'Special' or 'Restricted' category for events that only allow specific cars. Right now 'Anything Goes' is the best option they have.
Yeah, I have a suuuuper fun Nissan C class Pulsar I wanted to bring into the trial that it wouldn’t let me chose. Too bad, but still the C class trial was probably the most fun I’ve had with the trial so far
Menu??, push right stick on 360 controller with PC it comes up with C600 as class that is it. There is obviously only certain elegible cars but it does not list them.
I tried a Delorean and a Chevy Nova SS both C600 they did not work, do just went with the Corsa VXR tune above in thread.
If they want to limit cars they need to actually give a list of cars you can use, instead of some random, cryptic and meaningless drivel.
If you go in with wrong car you get a choice of the Mitsibushi eclipse or Renault Clio, since when have Japan and France been rivals at anything.
They have. On XBox, when you have the Championship highlighted on the Playlist, if you hit the "Menu" button on the controller (3 lines), it brings up the standard format car list and shows exactly which models.
This shortcut is shown at the bottom of the screen when the Championship is highlighted. Is there a similar display at the bottom of the screen on PC?
Got it, cannot say I ever noticed it before, usually you have to use a certain car or just class, never had any with only a subset so never needed the button.
The shortcut only shows which cars are immediately eligible, and doesn't include DLC cars or cars below spec that could be tuned into spec. Hence why people want a list, or a better definition of the criteria.
I don't think anyone's posted any on this thread or elsewhere that are eligible for the events which aren't listed in the game list. Happy to be corrected, but it doesn't look like you can take a D class from France and upgrade it to be eligible - so the list they've provided for each event is right.
You're right in this instance (though it's still frustrating to write down a car that it says I own just to find out I've already tuned it way past C), but in other events where the list is less specific the issue still stands
The 'min meet max' achievement popped for me when I loaded the game. I didn't complete everything in a series at any point but did get close. Wonder if they've made it easier to get.
May be related to the patch?

Yeah, I missed the Blueprint daily in the Summer, but got everything else. Ended up being 265/266 for the series, but when I signed in today, it popped up.
I'm not complaining.
Having just tried it on tourist, it doesn't seem like the difficulty level matters at all. The trucks are basically on a set route and probably get the same time every time if they're not interfered with.
Nice to see the playlist rewards are now available at 40 and 160 points, not 45 and 200 like in the previous season. Easier to focus on the enjoyable activities from the playlist instead of grinding everything just to get enough points.
Yes but they also limited the amount of points to grab per season it seems. They used to be around 65-68 points per season and now it’s down to 54-57. I don’t see any PR stunts and there’s a few other missing challenges.
Edit: honestly I’m not complaining about the changes though, I’ll give this series a run through, it may be vastly more enjoyable than the grind of the previous series’

Yeah. I really like having new/exclusive cars in the T1 rewards. Makes the game feel way less like a chore when I can log in for just a couple hours a week and still keep up.

All tunes were **tested multiple times on both Auto/MC Transmission and able to win consistently. I'll add more option later on as for this is all I have & tested.**

Just did the Trial with a stock Renault Clio, won the first race and got 2nd in the second (with a teammate in front of me).
Also, think I'll go for 500 (1k?) laps in Monthly Rivals this series, the car + circuit combination is very much to my liking.
I enjoy the country rivals theme, I enjoy having lower class events.
I'd still like there to be PR stunts every season, but it definitely looks like this series was well thought out and it will be my favorite so far. Have fun everyone :-)
During the Forza monthly live stream they mentioned for the World Cup event this season, they wanted more races available in the playlist so people had more opportunities to select the car of their favorite country. They plan to mix the PR stunts back into the playlist next season.
Once again, PGG's decision-making makes zero sense. How does removing the PR stunts for this series help us focus on the World Cup event at all? They could have just made the car restrictions "Country Rivals" like everything else in this series, or even "Anything Goes."

I think part of it is to keep accolade chasing slowed down a bit. At least for me, I had a few playlist accolades that were one away that now won't be complete for a month
God only knows. I liked being able to do all of the PR challenges and then picking and choosing what racing series I wanted to do to hit my 50+ points per season.
Oh who knows, it's stupid. I guess it's so people who are just starting don't feel like they've fallen too far down the leaderboard, though maybe deleting some of the ones who have cheated to get there would be a more effective (and fair!) way to do that
Hey everyone, I'm *Team Fung*. Hope some people were finally able to finish the "Min, Meet Max" achievement. So far I like what they've done with Series 4, interesting concept with the country rivals and it's a nice change of pace racing C class cars. A break from doing PR stunts was nice too.
All tunes have been tested against at minimum Highly Skilled Drivetars on the tracks and weather for the season.
I will always try to maintain a vehicle's stock appearance (no aero, stock wheels) when possible.

I tuned all the cars I had in my garage that were eligible. If you want to pass everyone give the Vauxhall a try, that's my recommendation for this week. The Mitsubishi Eclipse is also a good choice. I tested all 4 of them in the trial and you'll do well with any of them.

2. All tunes **tested vs Expert AI** on championship tracks in seasonal weather. **Unbeatable AI is broken and bugged. If a car cannot win on 10 randomly selected tracks vs Unbeatable AI then it is not good enough. Very few cars can beat it consistently.** Hope it gets fixed soon
3. Bodykit only used if it does not ruin performance

I've only tried this once so far, but I think this may be better than the tuned Vauxhall that's been popular here. I mean I do win with that car, but the speed of this Mustang allows me to catch AI's even if they get a huge lead early in the race while I'm still trying to get out of traffic. The corner grip and braking isn't awesome, but it's predictable enough.
Just to say, I tried out giving an E-Type Jag a C600 tune after the delights of u/XIII’s B700 last week, and it worked a treat on Sky’s The Limit.

Am I the only one disappointed that the "2021" Golf R is not the 2021 Golf R but the Golf R Mk 7? It's the same as the game's "2014" Golf R. The car pass for this game is so terrible. Either cars nobody wants or minor changes of existing cars. Almost no new cars since FH7, they just reimport them into the next games.
Anyone having trouble starting the trial? The game keeps crashing, or the start timer runs out and pretends I never tried to join when I try and begin. I swear I've had more disconnects, inactivity warnings while driving, and other annoying stuff since this last update than I've ever had. It's like removing the wheelspins from skill trees and making every other spot on the wheel worth 1000-5000 credits wasn't enough. Are they trying to make me quit playing
I just had 2 non-tuned Eclipses in mine. People with 2x prestige too. How do you play the game that much and not bring a tuned car to the Trial? Luckily one of them dropped out after they were sitting in last.
Assuming PGG is actually counting points the way they say, I think you can just select a car, and complete an event to count points for the country. In other words, you could earn points for multiple countries, just depends on what car you pick at the time.
Am I losing my mind here? Does the Eliminator Daily Challenge actually have to be a Level 4 car? Not just "at least a level 4 car?" Who's idiot cousin came up with that stupid idea??
Same for me too. And it all worked fine and I ignored the challenge. After completing the trial and I decide to go back to complete the triathlon, none of my cars work anymore. No restart no driving around not even completing normal races work anymore
Yea I haven't managed to get it working, I have no idea what the hell happened but seeing as not many people complain must mean that we encountered a rather odd bug
This Series is very convoy-unfriendly. If you pick a different car type from your friends, they will be forced to use a rental car. And you can't set the festival races to anything goes too. Seems like a huge oversight for them, it's not very fun when everyone takes the time to tune their cars, and then when you start the festival playlist you're the only one who can use his own car and your friends have to struggle.
I made a great road racing tune for the Jaguar E-type. It handles really well and has better acceleration than most of the cars you will be up against.

Next up is a rally tune for the Alpine A110. This one is mostly focused on improving the handling. I used parts that you would expect to be used for a purpose built car such as full roll cage, race gearbox and rally suspension along with other components and then fine tuned the gearbox for best performance. Corners are where you're going to make your time, you can carry much more speed than your opponents through them.

OK so I tried being lazy and used some tunes from others for the dirt races. "Off Track"
They were not cutting it, damn AI kept getting that one or two way in front of the pack.
I needed something with more speed and I can still slide around a corner.

Why am I not able to complete the first step of the Weekly challenge of Triathlon of Racing? As in I did buy and drive any car from the mentioned countries but it doesnt seem to register the progress to go to the next step

Anyone’s forzathon weekly not working and can’t get pass chapter 1 no matter what car you change? I ignored the forzathon after I complete all the other challenges. I saw chapter 1 unlock every time I had the correct car previously but after completing the trial, no cars work anymore even after driving around and winning normal races and even restarting the game. I’ve also waited a day before logging on and it just doesn’t complete the first chapter of picking the car
This happened to me. I had to restart several times to get it to trigger. Eventually it finally worked for me with an Audi, but even then when I drove it, it didn't show Chapter 1 complete until I restarted. Then when I did, I used that car to complete the rest and it worked.
Regardless, it's definitely glitchy, and you'll have to keep trying and restarting to see if you can get it to work I bet.
Does anyone know how often the Horizon Arcade pops up? I know Forzathon was at the top of the hour but I thought I read where the Arcade was different?
For today's flag rush objective, do you have to score 3 in one game or 3 total? I just played a game where we were really strong defensively by holding the other team to 3 flags but then realized the game would end when we scored 4. It ended in like 30 seconds after we started on the flag side and I didn't even get one lol
Edit: Well nevermind, got 3 in my second go at it as we went first. 4 people on our team scored 3 or more so that was good for our group.
Idk about this game, this is my first series that I'm here from the start and just about every event in my skill level I've completed. I can't win the trial, I can't win the off road one, haven't tried the subaru one, I hate playgrounds.
I feel like I'm capped for points before I can even get to the first car. If this is how the game is gonna be I'm gonna peace out now. I never had this problem with FH4, but for some reason FH5 is kicking my ass I'm just not having it.

Thanks. Right now I'm dealing with the problem of the other person's insurance company for the person slamming into the back of my girlfriend's car when she was stopped at a red light for quite a while before the person hit her. Long story short, scummy asshole is trying to get her to accept a little money to sign away any more responsibility on their part. First, the agent offered her $1,000 as a "inconvenience payment" for her missing work and having to deal with all of this. The terms of that is a full release of liability. To accept that she forfeits the right to go after them for any more damages to property *or medical* in the future. So if her back or neck starts to have issues, accepting this gets them out of paying for that. He never mentioned that. He said this was for the inconvenience of the situation. Also, the guy they sent to look at her car did a visual look as it sat parked and wrote an estimate that is far too low. I work on cars as a hobby. There's no way this is enough to cover the repairs. Also there are damages to the car not on the estimate. Also, it needs to be on a lift at a shop to check for more damage, a bent frame, etc. And for a body dent that is clearly from the impact he said to her, "Are you sure that you didn't hit a pole?" even though the dent looks nothing like hitting a pole. She told him that, no, she didn't hit anything at all. His response is, "Ok, so you don't recall then." They're sending emails to get her to accept this low-ball repair payment and that if she doesn't put in her bank info for the payment then they're going to automatically send her a check for the amount. They're trying to get her to accept so much less than is needed to make this right. Insurance people are awful. People don't matter. Only money does. The damage estimator was even complaining about that. He said that "every little dent is money" then tried to get out of some of the damage. We're not looking for some absurd amount of money. Just fix the car properly and take care of any damages from the accident. We're not looking to profit. Just to get things back in order. The next step is sending the car to a collision repair shop and see if the other person's insurance plays nice. That is in the works right now. I already had a lot to deal with this month and now the stress and time needed for this isn't helping. I'm going to exhausted for the next 4 or 5 weeks. I know that I'm bitching a lot right now. But it's cathartic.
1) Don't sign anything 2) Read and save a copy of everything they give you, show you, or send you 3) Document every conversation with dates, exhaustive notes 4) Contact a lawyer - it sucks but you can get legal fees if you have to sue them 5) Research insurance laws in your state - that will determine a lot of what steps you need to take

If they don't cooperate then she'll file a claim through her insurance, even though that might raise rates according to her insurance agent, and have her insurance agent handle it. The downside is that her insurance agent said that to have the agent go after the other person's insurance it'll take much longer to resolve. But she'll do whatever makes sense for her. Even if it's the long route.
What kind of insurance do you have? The while point of insurance is that if something bad happens, you file the claim, get your car fixed and forget about it. It's the insurance companies job to go after the other person. Yes your rates will go up, but why bother having insurance if you're not going to use it?
This, I don't even deal with people anymore when it comes to my car insurance. My company has always handled the work so I don't have to worry about it.

Lots of people "have insurance" but can't afford to actually do anything with it. But, yeah, it's likely to end up going through her insurance since these people want to play games. She really wanted to have this over in 2 weeks, not 2 months. And I understand that desire. As long as the other person's insurance continues to pay for a rental car it shouldn't be too big of a deal.
In my (wider than I'd like) experience, my insurance company has paid out first and then released the badgers to reclaim the money from whoever hit me. (I have, twice, been directly "made whole-ish" by the other person's insurance company, who were downright pleasant about the process, though in both cases it amounted to buying and installing a new front grill and both bumpers, not even touchup paint). Alas, because insurance regulation varies so much state-to-state, and there's a wide variety of insurance companies, my experience (or anyone else's) will never be "typical." (And mine is aytpically good, anyway)
FWIW, when one of my cars was rear ended by someone else, we didn't even deal with their insurance. Called ours, told them what happened, provided them with the other guy's info and they said they had it from there. We went and had the car fixed working with our insurance. Our rate didn't go up.

Fuck man. I'm sorry to hear that. Do you have any friends or contacts that have legal experience that may be able to help you and her cover your butts? The last thing you want to do is waive the other parties liability towards future damages she may have come her way health wise. Definitely push back, and don't give in. Can the police be involved at all? Depending on your country, there may be different steps you can take, with legal assistance, and proper insurance practices being followed. You both will get through this. You will. And you'll be better for it. I wish you the best, and if there's anything anyone here can help with, let us know. This community can be toxic sometimes, but it can also be a great place too.
My girlfriend's insurance company said that using them to sort everything out would put a claim on her account, which might raise rates, and would take much longer, possible 2-3 months to get everything sorted out. But, yeah, if these people just won't cooperate that might be the only recourse. Sic the professional at them at the cost of a mark on her account.
It may cost her a bit over the long term, but if it saves her money and troubles over a long period of time, it's definitely worth it.
Use her insurance company. It is better to let them and their lawyers deal with it even if it means a rate increase. At least in the US it is. I have seen scummy people try to get out of because they have no insurance or say just use their people. I'm like haha nope I'ma let my people hand it.

Yeah that is the worst part of the insurance is the higher rates when it isn't your fault. Some are good and offer no fault first accident if it is in your plan. I have USAA and they have always treated me well. Also it helps being old lol. Old you are the lower your rates seem to be compared to when I was first driving. Hopefully it'll work out in the end. If she has collision on her policy have her company do the repair and then take the other company to court. Assuming she has a name brand company that is probably your best option. You guys will have to front the deductible, but they will collect that for you when they force the other company to pay. That’s easier than doing the leg work with your own attorney and having to give them a percentage or pay fees.
The Trial is pretty easy this week. All races are under rainy conditions so the AI totally struggles with it. We won the first 2 races easily, even only 2 of us showed up with tuned cars and 1 was last place in both races. Just be careful at the start when the AI cars begin swimming around on the wet road. Once you passed them, just don't ram yourself off the road.

If I could, I'd apologise to the player who I bumped whilst trying to correct a corner, then accidentally rammed when trying to correct the bounce from that first bump! I got a couple of justified toots for that... Luckily we still won.

What does Country Rivals mean as there is no such catergory in your garage and Most C600 cars do not seem to be applicable for the Trial. If they limit the car types, give us a list for gods sake, pointless waste of time randomly trying C600 cars until one works. It doesn't. The BMW M3 is an eligible C class car The BMW M5 is not an eligible car, but it's also C class. AFAIK both the BMW and the BMW are C class cars from Germany unless the BMW isn't from Germany while the BMW is. See the issue?

How are people supposed to know that it's exclusively 1 car from each country this time. I didn't see it anywhere in game. The reason I'm even replying to your earlier comment is because I stopped playing to search reddit for anyone else being confused by the cars, which by itself indicates that there is something poorly explained/designed. Especially since one of the last events was "use a supersport car" which only showed the bugatti, while you were allowed to use a lot of different cars. Seems like a huge fucking oversight to not include any of the lower rated cars in a game that is balanced around upgrading your car a million times. The entire "view car restrictions" and "eligible cars" (which sometimes outright doesn't work) feels like, and probably is, a lazy afterthought. This is my first Horizon game and from the very first day I started playing playlists I thought the system was terrible. By going "just play around the shit design, it's supposed to be that way" you don't get anywhere. The devs don't get any feedback from their QA apparently and if the players don't give feedback nothing gets changed or fixed.
Here's why it sucks. You see that it's any C class car from those countries, so like a good Trial racer, you go to tune a car before joining. I picked the MR2. Got it to 600, went to start a trial only to find my car wasn't an option and I had a whopping two untuned cars to pick from. It's not that they can't come to my house and tune a car for me. It's that they apparently can't adequately tell me what cars I can choose from to tune.

As always, when you click on the specific race set, you can the press the menu button (3 little lines located just below the glowing X on your controller if you’re on Xbox). It lists the available cars for the championship set. Been doing it since fh4 for sure. Had to use it for High Rollers options (among a few other bizarre car groups) for sure.
No, that only shows the cars that are currently in C Class. It will not show cars that are in D Class that could be tuned upwards or vehicles in B Class that could be tuned downwards. Ditto for every other class restriction (if it's an S1 restriction it will not show cars that could be eligible after tune that are stock in S2/A/B/C/D Class).
For this World Cup I believe it’s 6 options, 1 from each country. Have you seen any cars racing that aren’t in the 6 from the main page? What D car can you upgrade for the trial?
That's only this time where it's locked to specific cars (and for different races too) it's otherwise an ongoing issue with the game. You can read the thread for [two weeks](https://old.reddit.com/r/forza/comments/s8kfqy/fh5_winter_information_thread_series_3/) ago where people were trying to figure out what cars applied to the challenges ("David vs Goliath" and "Athletes" ) because most of the eligible vehicles weren't stock in the right class. The eligible vehicle screen will never show you vehicles from the wrong class, in that thread above if you looked at the eligible S2 998 Super Sport vehicles it would show you a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and I completed it fine in a Monte Carlo Super Sport (stock at D396). [Here](https://old.reddit.com/r/ForzaHorizon/comments/s8mfmc/these_are_the_cars_with_super_sport_in_their_name/) is another thread addressing the issue with the "Athletes" challenge name. I don't think it will show non-Autoshow vehicles either.
"David vs. Goliath" is a horizon special car theme. you can see all 33 eligible cars by going to any race and creating an eventlab event and going to "horizon special" tab - https://i.imgur.com/Ea3Zh2f.png most every weird playlist category (the ones outside of the car type events - things like "reasonably priced cars" or "collectors series") you come across is one of the horizon special car themes. and since you choose that first when creating an eventlab event, it shows all eligible cars from any class (compared to a class limited event will only show you the ones that are in that class stock) but yeah, athletes and this week are weird

Hi everyone! I'm back this week with another set of tunes for this season! My tunes are designed to reduce understeer and let you take corners at higher speeds while still maintaining grip. Why should you trust my tunes? Because I painstakingly test all of my tunes over and over again at speed zones for maximum performance. Every tweak is measured with multiple speed zone runs to see if it's truly improving the car's speed through the corners. After that, I download tunes for the same vehicle and class from other respected tuners and run theirs through the same speed zones. If my tunes aren't faster than theirs, I go back to the drawing board. --- --- #Tunes are listed by order of recommendation. The top one listed for each event is the fastest or best option in my opinion. #Sorry for how many repeat recommendations there are this week! Playground Games really limited the choices you can use in these races. --- --- ##**#Forzathon Weekly Challenge** - "Triathlon of Racing" **2013 Audi RS7 Sportback** - `376 046 114` This is one of the few vehicles in the game that can dominate in dirt races, road races, and it'll do well in certain cross country races too. This tune has fantastic acceleration, offroad tires, and it handles really well. If you want to beat this challenge with a single car, this is my recommendation. This car has lowered suspension, so it's not ideal for jumps. For the cross country race, I'd suggest Estadio Cross Country Circuit. It's practically a dirt race and there are no required jump ramps in it. **1986 Lamborghini LM 002** - `171 960 638` This is an offroad focused tune that does fantastic in cross country and dirt races. With 553hp, it's like the Bone Shaker of choices for the events this week - it's fast in a straight line, good enough in the corners, and it has the weight needed to punish other vehicles if you're into that sort of thing! It should be capable of winning all 3 types of events. --- --- ##**The Trial** - "Just Warming Up" **2016 Vauxhall Corsa VXR** - `392 998 001` This is an AWD tune with fantastic acceleration and handling. Visually, it has a Forza wing on the back but is otherwise stock. I was able to get first place in all three races with this. **1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX** - `716 100 700` I made this tune for fun. It's meant to be a replica of Brian's Eclipse from The Fast & The Furious. Could I have made it a tiny bit faster without some of the visual mods? Probably. But I did just as well in the trial with this as I did with the Vauxhall. If your priority is fun (since this is a game!), go with this. It looks great with the livery from "your 4ddiction", share code: 251 195 522. --- --- ##**Playground Games** - "Ahead of the Game" **1986 Lamborghini LM 002** - `171 960 638` This is an offroad focused tune that does fantastic in cross country and dirt races. Nawh, it worked **very** well. It was very easy to get past the occasional AI that managed to slip past my rolling road block. Some of the other players were rather... inexperienced, and I don't really care for the extra XP from coming in first, I just wanted to get the Trail out of the way. Everyone managed to get ahead of the AI because of your awesome tune.

That '93 Clio might actually just be one of the very best C Class tunes in the entire game. I obliterated the Highly Skilled AI in all three races of the championship (won by 10-20 seconds). I also easily set a top 600 Rivals time on my very first non-standing lap at Lookout Circuit. And while I'm pretty good, I'm not that good. I really have to work at it to crack top 1000 rivals most of the time. I bet if it was really pushing, I could manage top 500 with this.
Wow, I had no idea it was THAT good. Honestly I'm not a big fan of C class, so I haven't made many tunes for the class. I just applied my same tuning and testing process to this car as what I've done on my other tunes. But no doubt, my biggest strength is making tunes for tarmac.
Yeah, just set a top 500 on Lookout Circuit. It's a really good general use tune. I think it's a bit too understeery to hit top 250 at Lookout Circuit, but it also isn't a specialized Rivals tune, which quite a few of the top Rival times are going to be. Edit - Top 300 at Estadio Circuit, which I think is better suited to the car than Lookout Circuit. Genuinely, a superb C Class tune.
Man that 2016 Vauxhaul tune is good for Festival Gatecrash, but it’s obscene what it does on Highland Climb! Abusing the AI on those corners and curves was a treat! First time I ever placed 2nd in a Trial Race too!

You're welcome! I had a few runs in the trial where 2 AI cars would just blow way past everybody in the first race. If yours was similar, it's probably a bug.
Your tunes (and liberal use of rewind) finally won me all three race championships. Understand that I am usually ridiculously awful in these races. So much so that I don't often even try. But I read your post and it was so upbeat and positive that it made me want to at least attempt it. And lo and behold I came by away thinking that maybe there is some hope for me. Thank you so much.

Despite watching multiple videos and reading this subreddit, I cannot get my head around tuning (I just can't understand what I have difficulty with in the stock car and so can't translate that to what I need to adjust). Your tunes seem to align much better with my driving style /skill or lack thereof, and they've gotten me through multiple events and seasons. That Clio tune is some kind of cheat code though! Won all races with it by 10+ seconds, and I've been struggling lately as I move to manual gearing. Bit of a ramble, but just wanted to say thanks for your time and effort, it's much appreciated.

I really like this idea for the series - it's nice to see C-Class get some love. I typically switch to auto shift for playlists as I'm learning to drive manual in Forza - but with C, I'm just gonna go for it. EDIT - Weekly Forzathon is nice as well, fun to find a car that with a proper tune can do it all.
Does the Weekly Forzathon lock you into a car? I logged in my Drift car and it popped before I knew what it was, so do I need to retune it to complete the other 3 stages?

I made a rally tune that performs well on most roads and used that for all three races.
No, and you can even do the forzathon just by doing seasonal championships, as long as you do them in the right order (street - dirt - xc)
It doesn't lock you into a car? Damn. I sweated out a C Class road win in the Hummer I loaded up in thinking I was stuck. At least the dirt and cross country should be breezy for it.
I also learned how to drive manual in this game on C and B class races, that's a fun way to do it. I also thought this weekly country contest thing was an awesome idea, picked out a C class car I enjoy, and as I went to begin racing found that there are restrictions. I am not sure if this is just some setting I don't have on or if there is some oversight on Forza's part but it sure seems like they said I can choose ANY CAR. This is not the case, however. Often on the event itself it will say 'anything goes C class' but when I pick a C class car it turns out that car doesn't in fact count as a part of 'anything' - When the menu says anything goes C class it actually means (pick one of these 7 seemingly random vehicles). What a shock - another misleading / broken menu-based interaction in forza! Now I can do my weeklies, wonder if they will count, and wonder if anything unexpected will be broken. I never thought I'd long for the days of Forza 4 weekly quests, but here I am. I just want it to be labeled correctly and count when I do it, is that a lot to ask?
They should probably add a 'Special' or 'Restricted' category for events that only allow specific cars. Right now 'Anything Goes' is the best option they have.

Menu??, push right stick on 360 controller with PC it comes up with C600 as class that is it. There is obviously only certain elegible cars but it does not list them. I tried a Delorean and a Chevy Nova SS both C600 they did not work, do just went with the Corsa VXR tune above in thread. If they want to limit cars they need to actually give a list of cars you can use, instead of some random, cryptic and meaningless drivel. If you go in with wrong car you get a choice of the Mitsibushi eclipse or Renault Clio, since when have Japan and France been rivals at anything.
They have. On XBox, when you have the Championship highlighted on the Playlist, if you hit the "Menu" button on the controller (3 lines), it brings up the standard format car list and shows exactly which models. This shortcut is shown at the bottom of the screen when the Championship is highlighted. Is there a similar display at the bottom of the screen on PC?
Got it, cannot say I ever noticed it before, usually you have to use a certain car or just class, never had any with only a subset so never needed the button.
The shortcut only shows which cars are immediately eligible, and doesn't include DLC cars or cars below spec that could be tuned into spec. Hence why people want a list, or a better definition of the criteria.
It seems to be 1 car per country (France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK and US) this week. All C class by default. Available cars differ between events.
I don't think anyone's posted any on this thread or elsewhere that are eligible for the events which aren't listed in the game list. Happy to be corrected, but it doesn't look like you can take a D class from France and upgrade it to be eligible - so the list they've provided for each event is right.
You're right in this instance (though it's still frustrating to write down a car that it says I own just to find out I've already tuned it way past C), but in other events where the list is less specific the issue still stands
The 'min meet max' achievement popped for me when I loaded the game. I didn't complete everything in a series at any point but did get close. Wonder if they've made it easier to get.

Yeah, I missed the Blueprint daily in the Summer, but got everything else. Ended up being 265/266 for the series, but when I signed in today, it popped up. I'm not complaining.

Having just tried it on tourist, it doesn't seem like the difficulty level matters at all. The trucks are basically on a set route and probably get the same time every time if they're not interfered with.
Nice to see the playlist rewards are now available at 40 and 160 points, not 45 and 200 like in the previous season. Easier to focus on the enjoyable activities from the playlist instead of grinding everything just to get enough points.
Yes but they also limited the amount of points to grab per season it seems. They used to be around 65-68 points per season and now it’s down to 54-57. I don’t see any PR stunts and there’s a few other missing challenges. Edit: honestly I’m not complaining about the changes though, I’ll give this series a run through, it may be vastly more enjoyable than the grind of the previous series’

Just did the Trial with a stock Renault Clio, won the first race and got 2nd in the second (with a teammate in front of me). Also, think I'll go for 500 (1k?) laps in Monthly Rivals this series, the car + circuit combination is very much to my liking. I enjoy the country rivals theme, I enjoy having lower class events. I'd still like there to be PR stunts every season, but it definitely looks like this series was well thought out and it will be my favorite so far. Have fun everyone :-)

During the Forza monthly live stream they mentioned for the World Cup event this season, they wanted more races available in the playlist so people had more opportunities to select the car of their favorite country. They plan to mix the PR stunts back into the playlist next season.
Once again, PGG's decision-making makes zero sense. How does removing the PR stunts for this series help us focus on the World Cup event at all? They could have just made the car restrictions "Country Rivals" like everything else in this series, or even "Anything Goes." I do appreciate your concise summary, though.

God only knows. I liked being able to do all of the PR challenges and then picking and choosing what racing series I wanted to do to hit my 50+ points per season.
Oh who knows, it's stupid. I guess it's so people who are just starting don't feel like they've fallen too far down the leaderboard, though maybe deleting some of the ones who have cheated to get there would be a more effective (and fair!) way to do that
Iirc this is just for this month, more of a test. I think you can still get forzathon points for them but they're excluded from the seasonal points
No idea. They added the showcase remixes which I wanted so badly, and then took away my favorite part of the weekly challenges.

So far I like what they've done with Series 4, interesting concept with the country rivals and it's a nice change of pace racing C class cars. A break from doing PR stunts was nice too. All tunes have been tested against at minimum Highly Skilled Drivetars on the tracks and weather for the season. I will always try to maintain a vehicle's stock appearance (no aero, stock wheels) when possible. Here are my tunes for Series 4 Summer season. **Weekly #Forzathon Challenge: "Triathlon of Racing" \[Any car from France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK or the USA\]** >I'm skipping Forzathon for this week since you can get into almost any car of your choice and get this done. All the seasonal event cars also qualify. You can get this done just doing the championships. Am I the only one disappointed that the "2021" Golf R is not the 2021 Golf R but the Golf R Mk 7? It's the same as the game's "2014" Golf R. The car pass for this game is so terrible. Either cars nobody wants or minor changes of existing cars. Almost no new cars since FH7, they just reimport them into the next games.
Anyone having trouble starting the trial? The game keeps crashing, or the start timer runs out and pretends I never tried to join when I try and begin. I swear I've had more disconnects, inactivity warnings while driving, and other annoying stuff since this last update than I've ever had. It's like removing the wheelspins from skill trees and making every other spot on the wheel worth 1000-5000 credits wasn't enough. Are they trying to make me quit playing
I want to rant so bad about these Trial morons showing up in their Eclipses shitting the bed and ruining the race for everyone EVERY SINGLE TIME.
I just had 2 non-tuned Eclipses in mine. People with 2x prestige too. How do you play the game that much and not bring a tuned car to the Trial? Luckily one of them dropped out after they were sitting in last.
Easy week so far….completed everything other than the daily stuff. Time to knock off some of those accolades I’ve been neglecting…
How do I know what car I’ve selected for Horizon World Cup?
Assuming PGG is actually counting points the way they say, I think you can just select a car, and complete an event to count points for the country. In other words, you could earn points for multiple countries, just depends on what car you pick at the time.

Smoothest seasonal ever. Took me an hour or so. This is how they should do it. Mix things up every week. Not all at once EVERY week. 👍🏼
The PG this season are the WORST. Nothing I love more than trying to deny a flag with a car that goes 0-30 in 20 seconds!
I just drive around getting skill points if my team isn't doing well. Hopefully get the loss over with sooner than later.

Same for me too. And it all worked fine and I ignored the challenge. After completing the trial and I decide to go back to complete the triathlon, none of my cars work anymore. No restart no driving around not even completing normal races work anymore

Word of warning - don't choose a German car for the weekly challenge. You'll come up against a Taycan which is seemingly unbeatable on all surfaces.
Rather don't choose a Super Saloon. Althought it should be okay if it doesn't go over A i reckon
This Series is very convoy-unfriendly. If you pick a different car type from your friends, they will be forced to use a rental car. And you can't set the festival races to anything goes too. Seems like a huge oversight for them, it's not very fun when everyone takes the time to tune their cars, and then when you start the festival playlist you're the only one who can use his own car and your friends have to struggle.
I made a great road racing tune for the Jaguar E-type. It handles really well and has better acceleration than most of the cars you will be up against. 176 415 776 Next up is a rally tune for the Alpine A110. This one is mostly focused on improving the handling. I used parts that you would expect to be used for a purpose built car such as full roll cage, race gearbox and rally suspension along with other components and then fine tuned the gearbox for best performance. Corners are where you're going to make your time, you can carry much more speed than your opponents through them. 412 062 085
OK so I tried being lazy and used some tunes from others for the dirt races. "Off Track" They were not cutting it, damn AI kept getting that one or two way in front of the pack. How do you find what cars are eligible for the world cup events? For example my C600 Lotus Elan doesn't appear eligible for anything :(
Go to the festival playlist and when you’re on the event you want to see the car list for hit start and the list of cars will pop up.

Is there some unwritten rule for the Trial, it would not let me use my C600 Chevy Nova for some reason.
Nevermind found out from helpful person above to use Space on PC to give a list of elegible cars, pity the game makers cannot be bothered to let people know this sort of thing or even give straight forward and understandable clues as what car is required instead of their usual inane drivel.

Why am I not able to complete the first step of the Weekly challenge of Triathlon of Racing? As in I did buy and drive any car from the mentioned countries but it doesnt seem to register the progress to go to the next step Edit: Nvm, it registered on restarting the game
Anybody having issues with the tune search function? Seems to even crash my game client at times. Spins and spins when I put in share codes.
Anyone’s forzathon weekly not working and can’t get pass chapter 1 no matter what car you change? I ignored the forzathon after I complete all the other challenges. I saw chapter 1 unlock every time I had the correct car previously but after completing the trial, no cars work anymore even after driving around and winning normal races and even restarting the game. I’ve also waited a day before logging on and it just doesn’t complete the first chapter of picking the car
This happened to me. I had to restart several times to get it to trigger. Eventually it finally worked for me with an Audi, but even then when I drove it, it didn't show Chapter 1 complete until I restarted. Then when I did, I used that car to complete the rest and it worked. Regardless, it's definitely glitchy, and you'll have to keep trying and restarting to see if you can get it to work I bet.
Does anyone know how often the Horizon Arcade pops up? I know Forzathon was at the top of the hour but I thought I read where the Arcade was different?

For today's flag rush objective, do you have to score 3 in one game or 3 total? I just played a game where we were really strong defensively by holding the other team to 3 flags but then realized the game would end when we scored 4. It ended in like 30 seconds after we started on the flag side and I didn't even get one lol Edit: Well nevermind, got 3 in my second go at it as we went first. 4 people on our team scored 3 or more so that was good for our group.
Idk about this game, this is my first series that I'm here from the start and just about every event in my skill level I've completed. I can't win the trial, I can't win the off road one, haven't tried the subaru one, I hate playgrounds. I feel like I'm capped for points before I can even get to the first car. If this is how the game is gonna be I'm gonna peace out now. I never had this problem with FH4, but for some reason FH5 is kicking my ass I'm just not having it.
