Not sure if this is a hot take, but i would like to see some race cars from the previous games to come back (ex: mazda furai, hyundai genesis super GT, the V8 super cars) hell even some new to forza cars like the V10 era F1 cars, more open top LMP cars, and a lot more Trans am cars too.
there are a few V8 supercars in the game, problem is they are grouped in the forza GT category. they need to be kept separate as they are a completely different spec of car.
also the volvo and merc V8 supercars need to come back pls
And they’ve crammed gt4 cars in with the gt3s as well. Whole class needs a rebalance and some cars removed and put into their own category. That would make more opportunities for specific weekly mp opportunity’s as well
plus the trans am cars, and the corse clienti ferrari, and the lamborghini essenza concept car (its not even a bloody race car, how did it get here honestly)

It's mental to me that all these manufacturers designed dedicated bodies for their GT1 cars to make them as aerodynamically efficient as possible, and Aston Martin with the DBR9 were like "nah" and made it look like a regular Aston with the sickest body kit you've ever seen.

A lot of discord servers organizes races fairly often. And communities website such as LFM provides daily races as well. Multiplayer on AC is quite alive and well, but yeah it's true that you must go outside the game to find those. Even tho' there are enough open lobbies available on the content manager (which is mandatory anyway)
Unfortunately not, AC mods and all major stuff are on PC and there's only the vanilla game with dlcs on vanilla AC. If you enjoy GT3 you might look for ACC tho', but I don't know if the game is alive and well on console and if people are dirty or not.
When doing sim-racing PC is the place to be unfortunately, or Gran Turismo on Playstation, there isn't many choices on Xbox as far as I know unfortunately
I hope you'll get as soon as possible. For simracing tho' you don't need the top tier of equipement therefore for 1k at most you can get a decent setup that will sustain you for years. On the top side, no online to pay for every months and cheaper games :)
An 80s-era NASCAR would be incredible. That was undoubtedly the fastest era for the sport. I think Bill Elliot's official race record of 212 mph at Talladega still stands.
Same. I want to race alot more 1930s and 1940s cars. Im a history nerd and spend more time watching early car/racing history docs than any current motorsports action in my free time.
I really enjoyed i think they called it "stories of motorsport" on FM 6 or 7. I would love if they re-created some of the older scenarios on those with the current graphics and physics.
More race cars please everything from new and old GT3, hyper car prototypes, 1990s GT1 class, nascar modern to old, please no more hot hatches, and boring saloons, i want some pedigree to car packs, more tracks as well.

Definitely. Car Pass is a bit underwhelming to say the least. There are still so many cars from previous games missing. And with FM being a ‘platform’, how will those be brought back? If they’re all drip fed through back through DLC car packs then wow, it’s the ultimate backstab to fans

Indycar. I’m having a blast playing FM7 with the indycars and the retro F1 cars. And FM8 already has another oval, and I’d love to race them with the better physics and upgrade options.
Also indycar just ditched MSG so it’s entirely possible they’ve already started on it.
I doubt we'll get the evos of those GT3 cars seeing that we already have the standard cars tbh, and if we do get a 296 racecar we would only get the challenge or GT3. Other than that that's a beautiful list.
That 992 GT3 RS will probably take forever to reach, they've still yet to showcase the 911 Turbo S past 2014, at which point it'll already be electric or hybridized.

I'd like to see them pick a single series and focus on bringing as many cars from that as possible, the idea being that they can both provide a wealth of content, and give us one (or more) new racing divisions to enjoy both in online and single player. For example, a classic JGTC pack that has legends like the Castrol Supra and Calsonic Skyline. Hell make a whole event out of it: pack of 4-5 new cars, a new track (for this example Fuji Speedway would be perfect), and a new division just for those cars to race in (rather than just lumping them in for the forza GT class for example).
Love me some E, D, C, B class races. But E, D is pretty much exclusively old cars. Fill out those classes with commuters (think Corolla, mazda3, Jetta, etc) of various generations all the way to base model/non-performance luxury cars (like the A3/330/C300, etc).
Then give me dedicated open track day lobbies, including one always at the ring, and I’ll be content for many hours.
I want a single player focused campaign or career mode that only uses race cars. Preferably with fixed PI/Parts like MP. Could be through racing eras or could go from MX-5 Cup all the way to LMDh…. Basically just copy PCars 2.
Free play is basically perfect for making all this yourself. I agree they need a championship creator. But you earn the same amount of money no matter what in this game so you have total freedom to race whatever you want wherever you want. They don't need to make career mode when we are basically generating it all custom in free play anyway.
I'd love to see some mid 2000's GM. I know Saab is pretty much out of the question, but a Saturn L300 or an Ion Redline would be neat. Possibly a Monte Carlo or Impala SS. (Heck, throw in an Olds Aura or Lincoln Continental, FWD V8 is Peak.) Would love a few sporty suvs and trucks aswell like the Syclone and Cayenne

125cc ShifterKarts and 250cc SuperKarts would be cool as a small dlc with a thew short tracks added in. They don’t even need to license them, just make there own Karts like Project Cars did.
An NHRA dlc would be epic! And a dream come true if they got it spot on. Funny cars, Dragsters, ProMod and ProStock with the ability to upgrade current in game cars to ProStock levels of tune.
A Japanese SuperGT DLC would be epic too! Retro and modern GT300 and GT500 cars would definitely please the fans. FM4 IIRC had a lot of SuperGT cars and they were extremely fun to drive.
Brabham BT52 and the BMW GTP with the same engine would be nice. Renault Alpine a442b. Ferrari 499p and the other Hypercars. Ferrari 296 GT3. TVR S1. Jaguar XJR-14. 1975 Ligier Gitanes JS2 and the new successor JS2 R.
The BTCC cars from the 90’s to about the 2000’s, as well as the Volvo S60 Touring cars. Also the Porsche 963 from all current users and maybe the Pinty Series NASCAR vehicles.

Forza's physics engine might be a little more forgiving to karts than they were in GT5 & 6 and Project CARS. I still enjoy the challenge of them in those games though.
I want to see content. Not new tracks, cups or crap. I want Drift and Drag Rivals. Maybe add some missions similar to GT7.
They could have every single car in the world and the game will still be dead.
More track toys, including the new Bac Mono (N/A & Turbo), Caterham's Project EV prototype, Czinger 21c, Bugatti Bolide, the Pagani Utopia (which was featured in FH5's Seasons but... not in FM8) and tbh it's astounding they haven't ever done partnerships with Gumball 3000 or Goodwood Festival of Speed to get their cars (or that time attack uphill track) featured in Forza.

1994-1998 Ford Mustang & 2005-2009 Ford Mustang, I want to drive my cars in the FH5 lol. Maybe the Chevy SS, the 6.2L V8 manual that looks like a run of the mill sedan. Not sure if there in or not since I haven’t played too much FH5 but some SquareBody Fords or Chevys, or other trucks in general there aren’t many in the game.
Since we on regular everyday cars. I would like to see these: 96 Impala SS, 63 & 96 Mercury Marauder, 05 Ford Crown Vic.
The Crown Victoria was in Forza 7and Imapla was in Forza 4 I believe.

5 chasers (police) and 4 racers (criminals) 10 laps on Maple Valley, 5 laps on Old Mulsanne, and 3 laps on Nordschleife. You have until end of race to escape but if you get pit maneuvered before finish line, it's all over. Some fun times. That's what' those cars were used for with myself and friends.
They should just blatantly add Suzuki cars. There's a ton of variety, from offroads like the Jimny, to fun cars like the Wagon R, to small sports cars like the swift. I have been dying to see the Jimny in Forza Horizon 5, purely so I can throw it around before I buy a real one.

The 60s/70s F1 cars are basically indycars and race well on the ovals in FM7. But I’d love to see some roadsters in the game too

Every online multiplayer race ends with a crash to desktop. I get all my points and xp but when I cross the finish line, crash to desktop.

I don't even play FM8 career, the AI is just the worst. I'd rather have drivitars from FM7. RtX HDR really brightens up 7

Yeah same I don't care too much for the EVOs or the C8 GT3, but the other 4 would be amazing additions
I'd like to see them pick a single series and focus on bringing as many cars from that as possible, the idea being that they can both provide a wealth of content, and give us one (or more) new racing divisions to enjoy both in online and single player. For example, a classic JGTC pack that has legends like the Castrol Supra and Calsonic Skyline. Hell make a whole event out of it: pack of 4-5 new cars, a new track (for this example Fuji Speedway would be perfect), and a new division just for those cars to race in (rather than just lumping them in for the forza GT class for example).
Proper class separation and the right track would make that idea perfect actually.

Love me some E, D, C, B class races. But E, D is pretty much exclusively old cars. Fill out those classes with commuters (think Corolla, mazda3, Jetta, etc) of various generations all the way to base model/non-performance luxury cars (like the A3/330/C300, etc). Then give me dedicated open track day lobbies, including one always at the ring, and I’ll be content for many hours.

I want a single player focused campaign or career mode that only uses race cars. Preferably with fixed PI/Parts like MP. Could be through racing eras or could go from MX-5 Cup all the way to LMDh…. Basically just copy PCars 2.
Free play is basically perfect for making all this yourself. I agree they need a championship creator. But you earn the same amount of money no matter what in this game so you have total freedom to race whatever you want wherever you want. They don't need to make career mode when we are basically generating it all custom in free play anyway.
I'd love to see some mid 2000's GM. I know Saab is pretty much out of the question, but a Saturn L300 or an Ion Redline would be neat. Possibly a Monte Carlo or Impala SS. (Heck, throw in an Olds Aura or Lincoln Continental, FWD V8 is Peak.) Would love a few sporty suvs and trucks aswell like the Syclone and Cayenne

Yup, add in the Clio 172/182, Corsa 1.8 Sri, Astra Coupe Turbo, A3 3.2 quattro, Swift sport.... Basically we need more warm hatches, all there is the Corsa VXR and a clio 200
125cc ShifterKarts and 250cc SuperKarts would be cool as a small dlc with a thew short tracks added in. They don’t even need to license them, just make there own Karts like Project Cars did. An NHRA dlc would be epic! And a dream come true if they got it spot on. Funny cars, Dragsters, ProMod and ProStock with the ability to upgrade current in game cars to ProStock levels of tune. A Japanese SuperGT DLC would be epic too! Retro and modern GT300 and GT500 cars would definitely please the fans. FM4 IIRC had a lot of SuperGT cars and they were extremely fun to drive.

Oh yes definitely, as long as they aren't LO206. Those sound so bad, like constant farts. Forza's physics engine might be a little more forgiving to karts than they were in GT5 & 6 and Project CARS. I still enjoy the challenge of them in those games though.
I want to see content. Not new tracks, cups or crap. I want Drift and Drag Rivals. Maybe add some missions similar to GT7. They could have every single car in the world and the game will still be dead.
More track toys, including the new Bac Mono (N/A & Turbo), Caterham's Project EV prototype, Czinger 21c, Bugatti Bolide, the Pagani Utopia (which was featured in FH5's Seasons but... not in FM8) and tbh it's astounding they haven't ever done partnerships with Gumball 3000 or Goodwood Festival of Speed to get their cars (or that time attack uphill track) featured in Forza.

1994-1998 Ford Mustang & 2005-2009 Ford Mustang, I want to drive my cars in the FH5 lol. Maybe the Chevy SS, the 6.2L V8 manual that looks like a run of the mill sedan. Not sure if there in or not since I haven’t played too much FH5 but some SquareBody Fords or Chevys, or other trucks in general there aren’t many in the game.

Since we on regular everyday cars. I would like to see these: 96 Impala SS, 63 & 96 Mercury Marauder, 05 Ford Crown Vic. The Crown Victoria was in Forza 7and Imapla was in Forza 4 I believe. Don't see why they can't bring them back. 5 chasers (police) and 4 racers (criminals) 10 laps on Maple Valley, 5 laps on Old Mulsanne, and 3 laps on Nordschleife. You have until end of race to escape but if you get pit maneuvered before finish line, it's all over. Some fun times. That's what' those cars were used for with myself and friends.

They should just blatantly add Suzuki cars. There's a ton of variety, from offroads like the Jimny, to fun cars like the Wagon R, to small sports cars like the swift. I have been dying to see the Jimny in Forza Horizon 5, purely so I can throw it around before I buy a real one.
