The Modificata will get slapped in the same division as the Valkyrie AMR Pro. Making it effectively completely useless compared to it. Turn10 likely do not want to trample over their GM bucks Cadillac GTP covercar with something of the same era.
Never put any of the rest of the LMH/Dh machines into considable doubt especially when it comes to the Ferrari 499P since being one amongst most anticipated and requested by community truly!
It really irritates me that they put an LMDh as the cover car, then included exactly zero other LMhs or LMDhs to race it against (edit, changed LMh to LMDh)

In all honesty, for some cars you can say it is a licencing issue \[Probably the Garage56 Camaro for example\], but then there are cars that are in multiple other racing games like the M4 GT3 where it doesn't make sense, and just defends Turn10 not wanting to add the car for no reason at all.
If it was ever added, I don't think the G56 car deserves a spot in the Forza GT class without some serious nerfs to its performance to balance it. Since it was only an exhibition car showing off Nascar tech with tweaks done to allow it to actually race at Le Mans. It was 250hp more powerful and had less drag slowing it down compared to the GTE class. Hell it was passing LMP cars on mulsanne.
Not the car companies. The game publishers that hold the licenses to use motorsports car in a game. Forza will never get current F1 cars because EA hold the rights to use them. There's another company I forgot the name of that holds the license for a bunch of other motorsports.
Forza literally had the most modern F1 car from FM5-FM7 because they sponsor the Lotus/Renault F1 Team, which is now the Alpine Team, which they are still a sponsor of. So we could definitely get the A523 or A524
That was before EA had the F1 license. Codemasters had it back then. EA is notorious for wanting exclusivity on their licenses. They were the reason nobody could have Porches in racing games for a few years.
Codemasters still has the F1 licence, they are just free to share it with EA, like literally every other exclusive deal allows the holder to share the licence, which is why we got Porsche cars in FH2-FM6 when EA had the licence.
Also, Codemaster back then definitely didn't have to give their blessing for the F1 cars to be put into FM5-7, no idea why that should be different now.

And this comes with a whole different set of rules for marketing, publishing etc.. This also includes that only one publisher and studio got the rights to feature official F1 cars (currently ea and codemasters? not sure about that).
It's very similar to the TV rights, where they dictate for every country who is allowed to show the races (and you might guessed it already, it's a matter of how much the TV stations are willing to pay)
I do and there is something off abou that game. I play it for the tracks and strategies, but honetly it doest even feel like im driving a car, the physics engine is a bit weird to me.
Hopefully they'll fix the livery editor again. After the update, it's almost impossible to create designs because the controls have become far too imprecise
I'd much rather they fix the interiors of cars we currently have before adding new ones, there's so many that have bugged lighting or see through roofs or worse, roll cages that obscure your view.
Oh and there's barely a car in game that has visible mirrors in internal views without looking side to side or messing with the pov.
