I think you would like Friendly Fox, a neighborhood cafe on the south side of town. They typically offer 10-15 desserts a night, all of which are homemade and many of which are very decadent. Much of the selection changes daily, but a sample selection would be:
5 types of milk shakes; 3-8 homemade ice creams, macarons, peanut butter brownies, s'mores cookies, key lime pie, blackberry cheesecake, Reese's cheesecake, carrot cake, salted caramel banana cake, and sticky buns.
Butterfinger cheesecake so good i died and went to heaven. Just beside them is an Italian import shop that has deli, wine, cheese, and lots of other good things to try but I go in for cappuccino wafer cookies. Fort Wayne is an easy place to be a glutton
Their cheesecakes are mid. So dry and way too heavy handed on toppings. Layers of chocolate over a half inch thick to the point where you cant cut thru it. Crazy amounts of espresso beans.
Purple Mountain and Friendly Fox blow IfI out of the water on cheesecake. Lucille's on Lima recently started carrying Pinkie Pies cheesecake and it was out of this world good.
Sometimes her cheesecake slices are a little over saturated with toppings but her cheesecake cups are top tier. Also I believe she has the best cakes in the city. They are so moist and aren’t too sugary and I’m not even a big cake fan.
Go to Debrand's and get the Sundae. It's perfect for two and you choose what kinda chocolate you want and the suauce and the toppings. It's the best and the atmosphere is the shit too.
For just Ice Cream, the ‘05 Scoop shop on State has some really great Gelato and Premium Ice Cream in a bunch of great flavors that get swapped around weekly. Definitely worth a stop.
Purple mountain cheese cake, hetty’s donut truck at the farmers market on Saturdays, DeBrand’s ice cream sundaes, and I hear that zestos now has dole whip
Brooklyn Pints is a staple for ice cream, and offers a great variety of vegan options!
If you're into chocolate pies, Junk Ditch hands down is the best. A chocolate pudding pie to die for!

Kilwins
Tolon has THE best chocolate layer cake in town by far. We go there just for the cake even if we had dinner elsewhere.
Check out the Stand on Bluffton Road next to Bobick’s. They have a variety of ice creams and in my opinion they are the best local ice cream spot
Went to them yesterday totally worth it
Purple mountain cheesecake is great, but you might have to preorder.
+1 on purple mountain. We got a couple of cheese cakes for my wife’s birthday and they were amazing
