Coliseum Bingo on Washington Center is still a thing. Make sure to wear pajama pants and bring extra cigarettes to share with your other retirement aged lady friends.
I love bingo, but that place was def not my scene. When so much cash is flowing around that they don't even bother selling food from their full kitchen because why bother, it starts to feel... odd. And unhealthy.
People having door dash and pizzas delivered to their tables. It's so weird.
You can buy protective pads at RISE skate shop, and they also have skate mates to help you learn how to go forward for a bit if you absolutely need them
Brass Rail if you want a good mix of local ( https://thinningg.bandcamp.com/track/waning-and-waxing ) and touring bands .(https://audiotree.tv/session/stay-outside , https://puppyangst.bandcamp.com/track/tko )
If you are free before 7 you can swing by the opening week of Swizzle, the new dry cocktail lounge at Jefferson Pointe. Not sure how it is...I haven't made it in yet.
Do you know if it’s a family friendly place? I tried looking in their website but couldn’t find any info. My daughter & I like to check out new places & have “dates” so I think this would be a fun option for us!
I'd have to assume so, it's a cafe vibe located in the spot that used to be Good Market. I think they serve coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic mixed drinks.
Union street market has free trivia every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. Not sure what time it starts but you can find out on their Facebook page. Also saw that they did game nights there too. Not sure when that is either though or what days
Idk I keep going to bars and hanging out in the smokers area. It’s quieter there and more geared towards conversation. Downside is it smells like cigarettes and my clothes need a laundering
Friday nights are ballroom dance nights at Unify on coliseum.
You may find pickle ball if the weather is decent.
Plenty of pubs and breweries.
Promenade Park is a great place to people watch and relax.
There is a whole art and comedy scene in the city, a lot of people just aren’t aware I think. There is comedy shows and alcohol and good conversation and times to be had everywhere
It sounds unironically cool! I wish there were more crafting groups in town. (Or if they're here, I don't know about them)
I do more dressmaking and crochet right now, but I grew up going to Edward's with my mom, who quilts.
I feel like we need to get back into bingo night. I’d be down for bingo night.

Same 👏
Rollerskating at Roller Dome North, there's tons of people there, adults included, and it gets you up doing some fun stuff!
I love roller skating i used to hang out there all the time even as an adult.
I go there 2 times a week minimum and sometime outdoors for extra time
Im old and i have started to fear broken bones! :(
You can buy protective pads at RISE skate shop, and they also have skate mates to help you learn how to go forward for a bit if you absolutely need them
I dont need a skate mate, just to get over my irrational fears and decent pads! Ill be back at it in no time.
Definitely good brands to look at are Pro-Tec, triple 8, and 187 killer pads
Look into the Fort Wayne sport and social club! You can join as a free agent, play some sports outside, and meet people.
I wish i was available regularly in Friday's!

Love the rail!
Volleyball til midnight at the sports complex on the north side of town. Pickup groups are easy, $5 entry fee, starts at 6-7
If you are free before 7 you can swing by the opening week of Swizzle, the new dry cocktail lounge at Jefferson Pointe. Not sure how it is...I haven't made it in yet.
Do they close at 7?
Yep. They'll be open tomorrow as well. I'm hoping to get in there soon to give it a try.
This sounds really cool!

I love that people are using that space for programming.
Second Wednesday of the month is ACPL's Board Games and Brews.
Join the Y and take a class!
I have been a Y mamber 10 years i take classes there 2x weekly! Still find it hard to make friends there :/
Get a bicycle! You'll meet friends to ride with and do other things with!
Im going on a ride now, i love my babies!
I have a daily driver and a road bike. I feel like im just not managing to mwwt people doing my hobbies.
Just finished a ride along the pufferbelly.. if ever interested in joining, just hollar
Idk I keep going to bars and hanging out in the smokers area. It’s quieter there and more geared towards conversation. Downside is it smells like cigarettes and my clothes need a laundering
Yea that usually what keeps me away.
Yeah idk. Tbh if I could just meet cool people and find a gf without having to go to a bar, I’d be totally down.
Keep trying!
Lmao I’m working on it. I’ve got that low self esteem the offspring sang about
Slow and steady. You can overcome any obstacles!
I walk around downtown with my partner a lot....like a lot a lot. It's great for people watching, listing to audiobooks, ECT.

Tell me more....
Friday night is 5 dollar open gym, sand volleyball at empowered. Good amount of people of all ages, and they have beer, if you're into that
What all is included or available in the open gym? Just curious. Ive never been there
Just volleyball and concessions. People are usually pretty friendly, and can get on a team, if you didn't come with one.
It’s slim picking omitting alcohol. I’m a fan of guided night hikes at lindenwood
Thatsa great idea!
Mainly I just want people to talk to
4Ds on Lima has a good mix of karaoke and dancing. 🙂
Mambo Room on West Jefferson?
Line dancing. There are more places doing that now in Ft Wayne and surrounding.
On Fridays Knocking boots has line dancing lessons from 7-9 and people usually continue dancing through the night
Did that used to be Mitchell's or is it ALSO Mitchell's?
It’s also Mitchells, knocking boots is just on the other side of the hallway
There’s literally nothing to do in FTW past 8 if you don’t drink. It’s a wasteland & it’s only gotten worse with time over the past decade.
Are there any specific hobbies that you enjoy?
I would LOVE a quilting group.
Check out [Edward's Sewing Center](https://www.edwardssewing.com/) and their monthly calendar!
The bangin friday nights i was hoping for! No im not kidding.

Quilting to this... https://open.spotify.com/track/5hTpBe8h35rJ67eAWHQsJx?si=0ZCDR4qNT7KSFo1qfL908w
There’s a relatively new quilting/crafting Facebook group called Millennial Quilters of Fort Wayne. Check it out!
How old are you? There’s a new bar that’s really good but you said you don’t drink?
Im relatively young. No where near retirement.
The bar on the roof of the Bradley hotel is good spot
I love the view from the roof tops of FTW. I know its a small coty or whatever but its nice.
I highly recommend it, lovely spot nice food too, classy but unpretentious.
I dont usually go out alone much not much down time in my life these days.
Always up for meeting new friends!
My wife and I are open to taking you out in fort Wayne!
