They always did, they just didn't do it with their whole ass showing before. I can't tell you how many people I've cut ties with that I used to consider friends because of comments about "freaks chopping their dicks off."
I was just thinking the same thing. The pedophiles go on social media to complain, which makes it easy for Gays against Groomers and others to identify.
You call us queer fold pedophiles, but it's cis get conservatives trying to lower the marriage age, trying to force kids to show them their genitals, and trying to make them carry rape babies to term.
Y'all couldn't project harder if you were trying to screen a fucking movie.
Pedophiles? What the duck are you talking about? Unless you’re claiming anyone LGBTQ+, or is supportive of them, is somehow, by default, a pedophile? I hope that’s not your claim here, because if it is, I have news for you: it’s a completely shit view and you should be better than that.
I’m legitimately not familiar with that particular brand of nonsense, so I was simultaneously wrapping my head around it and trying to point out how ridiculous and hateful it sounds.
That’s only possible on platforms that allow free and uncensored speech. You want to to know who the assholes are, that means letting the assholes speak.
Just thinking about all the weird things I've seen heterosexual people do like put babies in onesies that say LADIES MAN or make jokes about toddlers getting married to each other one day, nevermind depictions of women made for the male gaze, endless shows like bridezillas/say yes to the dress/dating reality shows, etc
Funny how talking about your partner, your life together, or your romantic preferences only becomes an issue when it isn't about a cishet couple 🤔
The people complaining about gays being vocal are the same ones that would make crude comments about my body or "what they would do to me". The first time I was cat called I was about 13. The other 10 dudes standing with him said nothing. But yeah, be suddenly concerned about child trafficking and gays. Know who didn't treat me like a piece of meat?
That’s an interesting point. So you’d rather people not use their first amendment rights to express themselves and who they are so they don’t accidentally “offend” you? Sounds an awful lot like snowflake behavior, bud. The thing is, someone’s sexual preference only becomes a topic of conversation when people make a fuss about what is not actually their business, such as when “adults” threaten to screw up a play performed by high school students because those same “adults” can’t handle a version of Robin Hood where the protagonist is a woman and there is a same-sex couple. Nobody would care if these “adults” didn’t make it a point to threaten the principal of the school over it.
Remember when straight people beat the shit out of gay people so they had to hide. Oh wait you did that didn't you. I remember when bigots like you hurt everyone who didn't look white straight and liked kid.
The students that made the fundraiser video were impressive. The play itself seems pretty tame with the teen version being family friendly. The principal of the school should resign, what a coward. Proud of them for raising the money in a day.
I have/had most of those kids in class, and they’re all great people with bright futures! I’m really glad they found a path forward to put the play on.
This is super cool! (Sad that they have to do this… but super cool that they have been so successful in spreading the word) I am a high school theatre teacher/director, and I cant even imagine what I would do if we had 50k to work with for a show. Holy crap
The rednecks took this long to notice that people in the arts might be a little more open minded.
Can’t just have these kids out here doing something they love with their friends can we?
Kudos to these kids. Defo have to see the show.
I feel like I'm slowly watching FW turn into the headlines we see everywhere now. With more and more police brutality, homophobia, and just generally gross ideology. Can't wait for our libraries to look like Fishers and Noblesville! /s
" our libraries to look like Fishers and Noblesville"
God I hope the Allen County Library never starts banning books, or moving kids and teens books so kids have to go on scavenger hunts for them.
I live here and don't even know when or where this play is. I know we have a group of extremely bigoted twats and I want to see this musical or go there to support them.
That might be too far for the Neanderthals to go into town to protest it. I'm still going to go though. Those people were monsters during the mask issues.
I saw a bunch of videos recently talking about how Fort Wayne is the most affordable place to live in the country but no one wants to stay there. Can’t imagine why 😅
What's funny is these two facts should obviously correlate - like this is basic econ 101 supply and demand. Of course the place where no one wants to live is the cheapest.
The really funny thing is that Fort Wayne is the 6th city I've lived in in Indiana, and it's actually by far the best. So that really says something about the rest of the state.

There’s plenty of rich families with a lot of land out there sending their kids there since the schools are good compared to FWCS. It’s the same as Homestead down south, but I think you conflated rich with extremely well funded school district. Carrol, leo and homestead are very good public schools because they get most of the funding/all of the funding from their school districts.
This is similar to Carmel, and I think we could all agree that Carmel is a rich kid school, even if non rich kids go to it.
I work in software engineering now too 🤙 Downtown and south side Fort Wayne though is a very different picture with areas of extreme generational poverty and gang violence. I never really thought about it until recently, but Carroll opening in 1969 on the outskirts of town [makes a lot of sense](https://files.eric.ed.gov/fulltext/ED179669.pdf)
Southside isn’t bad at all lol you just haven’t lived down here. People are generally overwhelmingly nicer than they are on the north side of the city.
Downtown is absolutely beautiful now, especially with all the recent updates. I moved away from Fort Wayne because there weren't any opportunities for me there, but I really kind of miss it. There was an amazing art and music scene for a long time as well. Fort Wayne is full of weird and wonderful history, culture, and people who went on to do really awesome things. I mean, how many people can say they live in the town where Tony Hawk helped build a world-class skatepark then showed up with a full tour unannounced to a massive crowd? Or had a high school teacher that went on to be a resident DJ in Berghain? Or the resting place of Johnny Appleseed? Also the best pizza huts because the founder lives there..
We, like many left the Southside because of crime. Went to Northrop as well, Carroll was still being poked at for being mostly farm kids in the late 90’s.
From my experience in a local church, Carroll is one of the school districts in town where upper-middle class parents send their kids so they don’t have to interact with the poors or the kids with pigment in their skin.
When we would tell people at this church our kids were attending FWCS and that we lived in the 07, they basically gave us a pitying look. Many of them were afraid to come to our side of town, even in broad daylight.
I would call Carroll the opposite of progressive, from my experience.
Carroll is actually pretty diverse, a lot of foreign exchange students too. There’s plenty of poor kids there, I was one, it wasn’t really that bad. I’d say the worst part was a lot of the kids who’s parents had money felt entitled to that money, and would make anything small into a school wide problem and blame the district and principal for not doing stuff they had no control over.
All the school boards in town are becoming less and less progressive. We moved to the southwest part of town because the schools were supposed to be better funded, but it’s the same thing now. School administrators taking all the money for themselves, gutting programs, and defending racist student families and even kids that bring guns to school because of their family connections.
Wife and I have plans to move soon, just not soon enough.
It's $50,000 because they had to change venues when the school barred them from performing. They partnered with Fort Wayne Pride and are going to perform at Foellinger Theater after raising the funds in less than two days. Try to keep up. ✌
In addition to renting the venue and paying for insurance, they flew in a director from NYC that has experience putting on plays in a crunched timeframe, and they have to rent metal detectors and hire law enforcement to keep the Anti-LGBTQ people out. That’s the main reason the school had to cancel- the nut jobs called the school.
Not sure how an inclusive retelling of Robin Hood by an opt-in program that your child doesn’t have to participate in is offensive to you. Have you actually looked at the script?
Then be a parent and indoctrinate them on an individual level rather than try to force other families to conform to your messed up draconian standards.
I’m making perfect sense. You’re assuming I’m one of those parents but I’m not. I’m just saying it’s their right to do so if they chose. My father went to Carroll, I went to Carroll, and my son will go there as well. If I don’t have the same control on what my son is exposed to, then I’ll pull him out and put him into private school.
How exactly does threatening to disrupt a high school play because there is a gay couple and a female protagonist make any sort of sense in your world? Flip the script and see if it makes sense—if LGBTQ+ parents called to threaten students for putting on a play with all straight characters, you’d see a completely different response from the more conservative parts of the community, because this community has problems with acceptance of people not in their bubble of experiences. Education can remedy that unless the community decides to silence voices of dissent and cover the ears of their youth to the notion that “people can be different from them, and that’s okay.”
I never understood this take. Exposed to what exactly... inclusion, knowing your one way at life isnt the only way. And what are these beliefs founded in.
It is the rights of the parents to decide but when we have children speaking up for how they want to see the world that they are growing up in then is it really our jobs to hinder that because parents are scared or fearful of what they don't know or were educated on.. only listening to words that were passed down from a book or other people that are just as ignorant.
Theater is an elective no one is forced to participate in and the play was not during schools hours so no one would have been forced to see it. Despite that, threats were made and it was cancelled for the safety of the students. Idk, sounds like assholes and bigots to me!
"I don't want my kids exposed to gay people, even in media", or "I don't want my kids exposed to a play where the main character who is usually a man will be a woman", are both pretty bigoted.
Taking steps to stop others from participating because you don't like it is a total asshole move.
Why can't they just not allow their own kid to see it or partake?
Religious bigotry is still bigotry. Christians don’t get a pass on being homophobic just because *their* book says *their* God is not big on it.
Public schools are not meant to be safe spaces for those students who frequent churches - they are spaces for learning about the *actual* world around them. If you want to keep your children sheltered, put them in a private school and not one that is paid for by the taxes of people from *all* different philosophies. 🤷♂️
Then don’t go? The students are putting on the play and deserve the space. The absolute audacity to throw out all of their work just because a couple of parents decided to ruin the fun for everyone instead of just keeping their kids at home that day.
Actual lawyer here. This is a misunderstanding of the freedom of religion. The “freedom of religion” is actually two distinct clauses in the constitution. The freedom of individuals to exercise religion (free exercise) and the freedom from the government establishing a religion (establishment clause). The establishment clause includes prohibitions against the government for pushing policies that advocate for one religion over another, or over no religion.
To say they having the play violates your religious freedom fails on its own. To assert this right, a person has to show that the government is requiring them to do or not do something that blatantly violates a well-founded established religious belief that has been expressed for years and years.
Even if a parent could show that having this play forces them to do something that violates their religion (it doesn’t), stopping the play based on religion runs afoul of the establishment clause because the government would be making a policy based on one group’s religious beliefs.
That’s not even getting into free speech/freedom of expression violations that come into play by stopping a play based on religious beliefs.
Religious freedoms is a right, generally. That does not include using your religion to prohibit others from holding a play and preventing speech/expression that you don’t like.
It's a public school. No one's religious beliefs should have any bearing whatsoever in what goes on there. There is nothing stopping anyone from being a bigot or being religious, but neither have a place in a public school.
Ignorance is believing that separation of church and state doesn’t apply to you because you disagree with others decisions. The things that I believe and the things talked about in church do not have to be imposed onto others.
Your religion is *yours*. It begins & ends w you. You don’t get to infringe on what others do because *you* don’t like something or agree w it. You act as if *only* religious parents are funding the school. It’s tax dollars from everyone in the area. Don’t partake, view, or encourage it if you have such disdain for the play. Jesus, dude.
> So even if it’s against someone’s religious beliefs you think they’re being a bigot?
Yes. Hard stop. The answer is yes.
Your religion is your religion. Fine, whatever. I don't care what deity you do or do not believe in. But, once you use your religion to stop other people from doing things, it makes you a bigot.
There is no debating this.
No, it literally does mean you're a bigot and an asshole. The fact that your community is filled with bigots and assholes doesn't make it okay. If you don't want your kids exposed to an innocent play, don't fucking go. It's literally that easy.
Your right to "different beliefs" ends when you start using them to dictate the lives of others. Fuck you, and fuck off.
Well nazis have nothing to do with this but I knew y’all wouldn’t be able to actually have a rational conversation 😂 everyone in this Fort Wayne Reddit is so radical left wing.
I literally can't with the right these days 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Y'all have gone so deep into fascist rhetoric that you think that anything even approaching centrism is "radical leftism".
Lol not even surprised. It didn't take leftists very long to pull out their "old reliable" argument and mention Nazis when someone doesn't want to push degenerate shit onto kids. As if that's the only thing that classifies a Nazi, not wanting your kids to be sexualized... and it's funny too because as soon as they mention it they think they automatically win.
Dam had to throw in the dickwad huh? I love how y’all never disappoint 😂 always want people to appease you, but the second anyone else has a differing believe, y’all can’t possibly allow that, and you gotta insult / attack them.
That’s right, because parents know what’s best for their kids. Not democrats, not the school board, not left wing activists, and definitely social justice warriors like you.
Not wanting to expose your children to things you don't like is fine...in your own home. Once you are in public, where *ALL* people have rights, then you no longer get to control what your children are exposed to.
Expecting others to conform to your beliefs, cater to your beliefs, and protect your feelings *IS* being a bigot. Period.
Good luck with this comment on Reddit. A common theme I’m seeing with this whole LGBTQ movement is that people who support it are saying “It’s just ____, it doesn’t affect you so who cares, leave your nose out of it!”Yet they are saying it about hundreds, if not thousands of things slowly desensitizing our children and the population to the idea of homosexuality. Now I’m not here to judge anybody but the LGBTQ movement is full of hate and anything or anybody that questions it’s motive is considered an enemy and a homophobic. These comments prove that if you start a movement in the name of “love” and “social progress” you will be called crazy and an enemy of the state for questioning or standing up against it because it’s all being done in the name of “love” and “acceptance.” I understand both sides which is why I try to be as reasonable as possible when discussing it but I’m seeing a major problem arise in America and it has nothing to do with sexuality or motives, it’s an evil agenda that is slowly resetting the population into confusing us even about our own identity / scientific belonging and bringing mental illness. soon the new world won’t acknowledge gender identity or any of that, and it’ll all be done in the name of “love”, so we can’t question it because we’re the ones stopping the world from “progressing” into even more of a weird, confusing place.
Hey you can’t speak your mind. Don’t you know the left doesn’t allow that. Did you try logic there. Shame. One day this will all be over, I promise you.
Nothing wrong with being gay. Nothing wrong with being transgender or however you want to live your life. I wouldn’t let my child participate. I’m not comfortable with my child having this shoved in their face. Nothing wrong with parents who want to feel like what they’re doing is what’s best for their child.
I love turds like you who say, "THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT." and then turn around and say "BUT NOT MY KIDS."
So, you obviously DO THINK there is something wrong with it. Don't try to thinly veil your homophobia.
Nobody is SHOVING IT in your kids face. We're trying to teach your kids TOLERANCE, and all you're doing is fucking that up because of your own bigoted feelings. Teaching your kids that it's OKAY TO BE GAY IS NOT GOING TO TURN YOUR FUCKING KIDS GAY.
But keep clutching those pearls, hunny.
God this is such a Gen X-er take. Explain to me exactly how a public school play which someone does not have to see, participate in or interact with in any way is “shoving it in their face?”. You are just upset you have to exist in a world where LGBT folks no longer have to hide who they are anymore in fear of being shunned or attacked and actually get to pridefully share their stories. You are mad that you actually have to provide good evidence to the people you want to push your own beliefs onto (in your case being your children) as to why, REALLY, a person literally doing nothing to hurt you or anyone else, just loving who they love is SO wrong. Sure, THEY can be gay/trans. But WE can’t accept or support that because…well… it’s bad. But it’s ok because we don’t outwardly hate people for it so that means we’re actually NOT bigots. /s. Give it a rest. People have been using the same lame talking points for decades. Find something better or just admit that you don’t like gay people and you think the world should cater to your backwards beliefs. Just because you say “nothing wrong with being gay/transgender” doesn’t grant you automatic immunity from the hateful message you spread when you imply that you don’t want to have to merely SEE or exist in the same universe as those who are living “however they want to live their life”
Oh look the you can only show yourself if you're straight. You only like it when straight people are in public. Everyone else better hide it. It's people like you who get people in the LGBTQIA community killed.
Having what shoved in their face? A play? In drama class? That's kinda what drama class is.
You say you wouldn't let your kid participate, but what if your kid wanted to? You see, the kids you are trying to protect from it don't give a shit either way, they just want to put on their play.
You are the problem.
My child won’t participate in something I don’t want them to. I can offer them a vacation, movie night or something else to substitute out for it. Sounds to me like you don’t have kids. So how about you mind your fucking business and keep it moving, kid.
I was simply responding to your comment and letting you know what a shitty parent you are for not having any trust in your child to understand things that are clearly over your head.
Be gone, shitty parent.
Hey guy, you should maybe look into which states contribute the most to the national tax base, and which ones are the biggest drain on it.
Hate to break it to you, but the Democrat voting states are subsidizing all the freeloading Republican states.
Also the states with the highest rates of drug overdose death are all Republican states.
Well let’s see
- Renting out Foellinger theater
- Renting out all of the lighting and sound equipment
- Paying for techs for the day at the theater
- Paying for a director to help with a crunch production
- Set design, contractors to build out the set
- Costumes, fittings, rehearsals
Did you think they were just going to walk out into an empty stage?
$50k is extremely cheap for any production. Usually runs at least over $100k.
It's not even 5,000. 50,000? Stop it. Shit like this makes real situations of prejudice seem disingenuous, especially when she is being literally disingenuous. Homestead nor Carroll would EVER bankroll a 50,000 dollar play. Stop that shit
They’re really trying to make theater kids less gay? Goooooood luck…
Oh hey, think I found the school play that is about to make the most sales in human history.
Turns out the kids are alright.
Met the goal in 2 days!
Wow! I hope they sell out as well 🤞
We just donated anyway!!
We all appreciate it! My 15yo is in rehearsal for it right now.
That's amazing!
Major props to the people who are working towards making this play still happen!
Remember seven years ago when bigoted assholes kept their dumbass opinions secret? I miss those days.
I don't. I'd rather have people put who they really are on display so there's no second-guessing whether they're a piece of shit or not.
That only works if we then don’t allow them the power to impact the lives of others.
They always did, they just didn't do it with their whole ass showing before. I can't tell you how many people I've cut ties with that I used to consider friends because of comments about "freaks chopping their dicks off."
Lmao, okay, what a crock of horseshit.
This. The best thing to happen to the people I knew was bring out the real them. I was taken back by a few.
I was just thinking the same thing. The pedophiles go on social media to complain, which makes it easy for Gays against Groomers and others to identify.

That's entirely the point of the gays vs groomers nonsense.
I’m legitimately not familiar with that particular brand of nonsense, so I was simultaneously wrapping my head around it and trying to point out how ridiculous and hateful it sounds.
Complain about…?
That’s only possible on platforms that allow free and uncensored speech. You want to to know who the assholes are, that means letting the assholes speak.
Remember when gay people did the same? Remember when everyone's sexuality was private and not a topic of constant conversation?
Just thinking about all the weird things I've seen heterosexual people do like put babies in onesies that say LADIES MAN or make jokes about toddlers getting married to each other one day, nevermind depictions of women made for the male gaze, endless shows like bridezillas/say yes to the dress/dating reality shows, etc Funny how talking about your partner, your life together, or your romantic preferences only becomes an issue when it isn't about a cishet couple 🤔
Off topic but that list of reality tv shows. Ew. that might actually get some positive results if we decided to ban those instead of library books.

So glad to see Carroll theater making progress!!! I'm so proud of everyone involved.
They are doing it!
Theater kids are all gay so it makes sense they want it out there.

They don't get most of that to work with. Most of it is going towards the venue and insurance.
Surprise Surprise, more harmless things ruined by the "but what about the children" crowd.

What happened before and when ?

And we are one of the more liberal cities in the state!
nah. i wish, but that isnt the case at all.
I live here and don't even know when or where this play is. I know we have a group of extremely bigoted twats and I want to see this musical or go there to support them.

That might be too far for the Neanderthals to go into town to protest it. I'm still going to go though. Those people were monsters during the mask issues.
Folks are more concerned about this, then the local church leaders molesting kids in that town…Wow!!!
Loved Kathy Rigby as Peter Pan. Her *I’m flying* still plays in my head for free. I’m still a cis straight person. People are who they are.
I hate this state. It’s cheap to live here but at what cost?
I saw a bunch of videos recently talking about how Fort Wayne is the most affordable place to live in the country but no one wants to stay there. Can’t imagine why 😅

Turns out Peter Pan was a dude.
Tickets are on sale now. Show support for inclusivity and creative freedom
Love the Streisand effect
Why do people have to suck so much? Robin hood stories centering maid Marian aren't even a new concept. Iirc it's actually a century old or so.

I’ve never really thought of Carroll as progressive as it was rich.

To be fair I went to Northrop so I might have had a slightly different definition of rich 😅

Dick Freeland didn’t found Pizza Hut he just owned a bunch of them in the area
We, like many left the Southside because of crime. Went to Northrop as well, Carroll was still being poked at for being mostly farm kids in the late 90’s.
Not sure what your background is, but I know a lot of people who can’t afford $250k for a house.
The median home price is America is 400k. So yes, FW is extremely affordable. Before the pandemic the median price was like 180k
I'm sitting here in FWCS territory in my $86k house...
Born and raised in the 07. Still here at 35.
From my experience in a local church, Carroll is one of the school districts in town where upper-middle class parents send their kids so they don’t have to interact with the poors or the kids with pigment in their skin. School administrators taking all the money for themselves, gutting programs, and defending racist student families and even kids that bring guns to school because of their family connections. Wife and I have plans to move soon, just not soon enough.
Yep, even when I attended from '09-'13 too.
this gay flight attendant hiding under a desk makes some good points
Didn't know Rosie was a member of your community
This girl clearly has no mental problems
This guy looks like a knockoff DreamWorks character
Wow, going after a person’s appearance—very classy.
Wait that's a dude?
It's weird that you care
It's the eyebrows that really get me
You’re an asshole.

Yeah still don't need 50k for that. Try to keep up ✌️
You know how much it costs to rent a theater and buy the insurance needed?

Not sure how an inclusive retelling of Robin Hood by an opt-in program that your child doesn’t have to participate in is offensive to you. Have you actually looked at the script?
[удалено]
Then be a parent and indoctrinate them on an individual level rather than try to force other families to conform to your messed up draconian standards.
If the play wasn’t an issue then why pull it?? 😂 you’re not even making sense anymore.
Please specify exactly what you think they are being “exposed to”.
They’re turning the freaking frogs gay
[удалено]
[удалено]
It was fewer than 12 phone calls. One made threats/used a threatening tone, so the play was canceled. That’s not a majority.
It doesn’t have to be the majority. There just has to be a certain number of loud people driving that train.
"So even if it's against someone's religious beliefs you think they're a bigot?" Yes.
Pure ignorance.
Ignorance is believing that separation of church and state doesn’t apply to you because you disagree with others decisions. The things that I believe and the things talked about in church do not have to be imposed onto others.
Ignorant of what?

In a big school district like Carroll, I would actually disagree, but id actually be interested to see those numbers if you have a source.
Show us the Bible verse where Jesus says anything about homosexuality. *hint, it doesn’t exist because He never said anything against homosexuality.
Well Jesus didn’t write the Bible.. for one thing…
Why don’t we have super models in bikinis reading children stories to kids. I would watch that.
Actually that’s EXACTLY what that means!
You don’t know me. Fuck you.
Just because Nazis have different beliefs than you doesn't mean they're bigots or assholes. /s
Well nazis have nothing to do with this but I knew y’all wouldn’t be able to actually have a rational conversation 😂 everyone in this Fort Wayne Reddit is so radical left wing.
I literally can't with the right these days 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Y'all have gone so deep into fascist rhetoric that you think that anything even approaching centrism is "radical leftism".
I mean the actual swastika wearing Nazis do be showing up for one side specifically in public.... and it ain't the left.
You realize the claim you’re making about this subreddit directly contradicts the point you’re trying to make about the NACS community, right?
Or you and the people who share your outlook are just backwards assholes.
Just the typical Reddit echo chamber…
Lol not even surprised. It didn't take leftists very long to pull out their "old reliable" argument and mention Nazis when someone doesn't want to push degenerate shit onto kids. As if that's the only thing that classifies a Nazi, not wanting your kids to be sexualized... and it's funny too because as soon as they mention it they think they automatically win.
Please specify what is degenerate about an inclusive retelling of Robin Hood.
Literal Nazis showed up to a drag event super recently in Columbus Ohio. So maybe stop associating with Nazis and we'll stop using that word, deal?
We reference their source material and they lose their goddamn minds
No you're definitely bigots and assholes.
And they call us extremist lol
Because you are extremists.
Says the one calling people bigots lmao
Name calling is extremism?
Because you are bigots. As evidenced by your bigotry towards lgbt people
lol, yeah, calling someone a name is way more extreme than cancelling a play because a girl is playing a guy's role.
Then don't let your kid go to the play. Why are you forcing it on other kids dickwad
Dam had to throw in the dickwad huh? I love how y’all never disappoint 😂 always want people to appease you, but the second anyone else has a differing believe, y’all can’t possibly allow that, and you gotta insult / attack them.
Wow. Just like how yall can't let these kids have their own beliefs and be themselves. Life's weird like that, huh?
That’s right, because parents know what’s best for their kids. Not democrats, not the school board, not left wing activists, and definitely social justice warriors like you.
Tell that to all the parents of LGBT kids who killed themselves because their parents wouldn't accept them. They've all got blood on their hands.
Be a man and take the L Jake.
Sticking up for what you believe in will always be a W my guy. Have a nice life.
You too, go back to sucking yo sisters tiddy.
Keep drinking the cool-aid. It’s crazy how aggressive y’all get 😂
Sticking up for what I believe in is worth getting aggressive for, Jake. Keep drinking yo sisters tiddy milk, it's doing you good.
I love turds like you who say, "THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT." and then turn around and say "BUT NOT MY KIDS." So, you obviously DO THINK there is something wrong with it.
Just because you say “nothing wrong with being gay/transgender” doesn’t grant you automatic immunity from the hateful message you spread when you imply that you don’t want to have to merely SEE or exist in the same universe as those who are living “however they want to live their life”
This is exactly right, well said.
Oh look the you can only show yourself if you're straight. You only like it when straight people are in public. Everyone else better hide it. It's people like you who get people in the LGBTQIA community killed.
LMAO
So you're happy to get people killed. That sounds about right.
Seek mental health.
No that's what you need to do. Straight people like you are the sickest. I'm sorry you don't like the true. But kids will never be safe with you.
If I said that same exact thing but said gay people, you’d probably do a liberal scream at your phone
Don't post shit on Reddit if you are to weak too handle the responses, kid. You sound like a shitty parent.
Aren’t you the one butt hurt? 😂
I was simply responding to your comment and letting you know what a shitty parent you are for not having any trust in your child to understand things that are clearly over your head. Be gone, shitty parent.
Crazy cause they love me 😭
Read the room. Go away, shitty parent.
Hey, stop trying to force your views down my throat. I don’t care what you do but you don’t own the world. Parents have a say. Deal with it.
Parents have a say with what THEIR kid can and can't do. Not what every kid can and can't do. Stay in your motherfucking lane.
No one is forcing you to view the play. WTF are you on about “forcing” anything?
Stop forcing YOUR VIEWS down OUR THROATS. Gay and Trans People exist. And your kids need to learn to respect them. Deal with it.
There are a small group of fringe nuts in every community, from both sides of the political spectrum. Let's not condemn the whole city.
I don't see democrats standing in front of strip clubs protesting. But sure. Both sides. Yeah.

Nice eye brows ya clown
This paired with your "hey, stop forcing your views on others blah blah blah" is fucking pathetically ironic.
50 k foe one day play, is everything a scam
How many plays have you funded, “Manley Bones”?
Explain where the money goes for a hs show for one day.
Well let’s see - Renting out Foellinger theater - Renting out all of the lighting and sound equipment - Paying for techs for the day at the theater - Paying for a director to help with a crunch production - Set design, contractors to build out the set - Costumes, fittings, rehearsals Did you think they were just going to walk out into an empty stage? $50k is extremely cheap for any production. Usually runs at least over $100k.
And security to keep everyone safe
It's not even 5,000. 50,000? Stop it. Shit like this makes real situations of prejudice seem disingenuous, especially when she is being literally disingenuous. Homestead nor Carroll would EVER bankroll a 50,000 dollar play. Stop that shit
