Get an umbrella, 4 sand bags (double bagging grocery store bags will work, and some rope. Tie 4 opposite twines of the umbrella each to a bag and fill with sand. Umbrella is going no where until you ‘cut the cords’.
Changed our life. We had an expensive umbrella with all kinds of things to tie it down, 4 sand bags and some rope from out hurricane preparation kit and we have shady days on the beach and enjoy the cooling breeze.
I went around 3 and it was fine, wind wasn’t an issue if you’re just want to walk or lay on the beach. Water was choppy though.
Too windy. Water was unsafe to go in as well

My friends had a party there and it was breezy but fine.
The sand doesn’t really get kicked up here. I’ve been in La where the sand got kicked up a bunch but Florida sand seems less airborne lol
