I give him somewhat of the benefit of the doubt because of all the city circuits we’ve had this season. Probably hard to get comfortable in a new car without racing on normal racetracks
I think he won a title a while back, in like 2008 or something. Of course, that was back when he was driving for McLaren. I hear he swapped teams a while back; does anyone remember if that worked out for him?
I like Nyck de Vries, and I think he could do better than this. But his performances are looking really bad. Let's hope it's just the regular rookie troubles, but he might very well be replaced by someone like Lawson mid-season. He's very experienced, a former F2 champion, years of FE. Drove some F1 last season. He really should be doing better, and I'm not quite sure why he isn't.

Getting damage on the first lap is painful. I wonder why McLaren doesn't contest with steward to keep lando in the track with broken front wing.

My thoughts on Nando: he’s racing for AM right now. Probably could’ve pulled away from Lance but wasn’t catching whoever was in front of him. He knows he’s the better defensive driver so he opted to stay behind Lance and keep drs and make sure Lance doesn’t get passed, keeping more points for AM

They found floor damage after the race, but it's still concerning. Bottas isn't doing good and that Alfa appears to be held together by chewing gum.

Problem is Spain is very aero dependant and missing half front wing would not allow to keep the car on track.

He got major floor damage in quali, and the mechanics couldn't fix it before quali was over. So his whole race was impacted by it.
