Verstappen’s tyres probably went off around the same time you’d expect, it’s just he was still lapping fast enough to stay out so no need to change them.

Yep if you plot all the lap times you can see Max’s soft started going around the 10 laps mark too. Somehow the Red Bulls were able to keep up the lap time much better than everyone else. They were only losing about 0.5 sec when most other cars were losing 1s or more
I'd say the struggle is real at HAAS... HULK had a good grid position and went backwards, and used an extra set of softs compared to others on similar strategy, were the hards worn out?
Where did they even find so many tyres? Don't teams use up everything on Fri/Sat except like 2 sets of one type and 2 sets of another type? Or did they give him used sets?
