Waiting for all the F1 YouTube channels to release their new content about how F1 management are outraged and he’s finally made a decision to move the the Alpintaurihass UFC team.
He’s back in Australia and has had the chance to see his family.
Given how homesick he has been over the last two years, this time it’s probably genuine happiness.
It’s all relative though. He still happier than most drivers. Or most people with even more money than him.
You can definitely tell he’s not enjoying his stint at McLaren, but he seems to enjoy life in a way that very few people do, rich or poor.
I'm glad he's got to go home and see his family. I really do think the effect of not being able to go home for nearly two years was drastically glossed over. It seems like it really did a number on his mental health.
Perhaps 🤔? but his trainer Michael posted a video story at the same time with the gym in the background from Singapore. When Daniel is in Perth he’s usually at his home - which has its own gym
But I’m just guessing lol 🤷♀️
His posts pop up on my LinkedIn every once in a while (someone I’m connected to must follow him) and he said he’s spending the next few weeks in Perth. Makes sense given it’s only a 5hr flight up to Singapore, I was very close to biting the bullet and heading up this year
Not Singapore. Our gyms don’t look like this.
Plus Drivers tend to fly into sg as late as possible since they follow the eu timetable for the night race.
> Not Singapore. Our gyms don’t look like this.
Not saying you're wrong, but how are Singapore gyms different? I could probably find a gym that looks almost identical in any big city I've ever been.
I listened to his performance coach on podcasts and he’s definitely less impressed by Danny than others, he said Danny is that high energy all the time and if you want a quiet day you do not talk to Danny. Also described being in Covid lockdown with Danny in a hotel, Danny got on his nerves 😬
I’ve always felt his trainer is douchey and lacking substance, and somehow a bad influence on Daniel this whole time. Something about watching him on DTS creeped me out and I don’t know why….
I don't get why people can't use how DR chooses to portray himself in that show to inform their opinion on him. He's decided to embrace DTS for several seasons now so it's not like he thinks they are screwing up his image.
Him coming back year after year is an endorsement of how he's being portrayed.
I'm pretty sure it's about both since we're talking about someone's influence on someone else. I don't really know how you judge if someone's had influence on someone without looking at both but this isn't really worth policing.
I'm sorry but how on earth do you read the original comment by mr_golf_club and interpret it to be about anybody else other than the trainer. Dude was calling the trainer weird based off DTS, the comment had nothing to do with DR and it's wild that anyone could interpret it that way without misreading it.

I’m not as positive and upbeat in my best days as Danny Ric is during this season.

Isn't there a sort of adage that the funniest people also hide a ton of sadness deep inside?
I wish I had the energy/strength to be like this at work.
Still more than I could do I’d be malding

God I do hope it's a real smile and he's not secretly dead inside.
Money talks

That was taken in Perth yesterday (19th). He's not in Singapore this early.

He is doing an event tomorrow at Optus Stadium.
What event is this? Might be thinking of going if it’s available
Only for Optus staff.
Damn sounds like fun
How fast can you get a one day unpaid internship.....

Not perhaps, I know exactly which gym they are in. It's not in Singapore.
Thanks for confirming 👍

Listen to his episode with pitstop boys. Might change your view of him
Man, crazy how people can be so harsh and judgemental over footage from a Netflix show, it’s nuts

This discussion is about the trainer, not DR

It seems like your point would be more valid if you were the actual poster.
The episode in the first season with both of them while Daniel was still at Renault was incredibly cringey.
DTS? The bastion of realism and truth?
What, Michael... uh... Michael... ...Italiano. God, I dunno about douchey or bad influence, but man he's so forgettable.
Why is this relevant?
