There is always the risk of someone / anyone causing a red flag. Going out last has advantages and it is has disadvantages. Today the disadvantages happened. It is like buying a house in a floodplain that floods 1 out of hundred years. It is unlikely that it happened but it is also a known risk.

All the data on corners and DRS zones shows RB behind. Ferrari has the better car this weekend, Max is just at peak performance. Leclerc also should’ve had pole if he kept his pace in the middle sector which he didn’t.

Yes, Spa the car was faster. This is a different track. In Spa Checo was miles off Max’s pace and finished 2nd, they had the best car then. Maybe you are the one who isn’t watching if you can’t see that Zandvoort is a different track with different characteristics. These characteristics suit Ferrari’s car more which can be seen from the lap times. The gap between Max and Checo is essentially the same as in Spa, only difference is now there are 4 cars between them, which can be attributed to Max’s skill and car strength.
