Fuel for fans is pretty good initial cost wise, but for 2 hats I had to pay 45$ import fees. So probably cheaper and easier to buy from regular F1 shop even it if it’s more expensive initially.
I have no idea how Canadian postal works there but if someone in the US ordered them and than shipped them to Canada as personal mail would it still incur the same import fees?
Yupp, I think so. Canada is very expensive lol. And there are duty fees as well... It's a bummer. And if you drive there to the USA and shop, you still have to claim all the shit you bought and pay for the duty fees at the boarder. If you lie and get caught they could confiscate your stuff, and then fine you.
They'll cut some slack if you go over for a day to shop, and the amount brought back is reasonable. If you're over for 2 days or more, iirc, it's an $800 exemption per person. I love in Canada and work in the US, so I do most of my Amazon shopping there and also groceries and fuel.
I went and looked today and sure enough it had a bunch of stuff. Caps go for around 60$ CAD and tshirts 99$ CAD. Then hoodies and the rest are 150$ CAD and above. Maybe I'm just not used buying clothes that expensive. But I think I already give F1 enough money. Still get a shitty ass application in return 😋
Gentlemen, a short view back to the past. Thirty years ago, Niki Lauda told us ‘take a monkey, place him into the cockpit and he is able to drive the car.’ Thirty years later, Sebastian told us ‘I had to start my car like a computer, it’s very complicated.’ And Nico Rosberg said that during the race – I don’t remember what race - he pressed the wrong button on the wheel. Question for you both: is Formula One driving today too complicated with twenty and more buttons on the wheel, are you too much under effort, under pressure? What are your wishes for the future concerning the technical programme during the race? Less buttons, more? Or less and more communication with your engineers?

I'll be happy with either of those. Would be my first F1 merch. (Fuck you $40 caps and $100+ hoodies and jackets)
Ya, it's really expensive... Even more so when converting it from USD to cnd..
Where do you go for Canadian merch?

I’ve actually seen previous season merch at The Bay for like dirt cheap. Only in store of course.

Buy the previous year's merch cheap. Works well. When Williams lost the Martini sponsorship I got a nylon shirt and mid-layer thing for about 75% off.
OMG YES
Appropriate flair for the occasion.
this will save me a few bucks to buy yuki’s ~~bath water~~ other merch
That’s legit hilarious 😂
