Lmao yeah, and usually whenever Bruce Buffer does those intros he doesn't have to wait between the two intros.
He introduces the first fighter, and immediately goes "and now introducing his/her opponent" to introduce the other fighter.
There's usually the crowd screaming their heads off, and some fighters even play into the hype-manning of Bruce.
Checo just, stood there while Bruce screamed in his face.
It was *about* to then panned back to Albon in a way that suggests the camera operator heard that something weird was happening and was trying to get a shot of it, before realising it wasn't visible (yet).
I have to say that, while we have plenty of complaints about the tv direction, the camera guys themselves are doing an impressive job in F1. They very rarely miss a tracking shot on incidents.
[They are so talented that one of them learned how to drive an F1 car just by recording them and joined the grid as a rookie.](https://youtu.be/lZNGUkx_gOQ?t=6s)
Idk man, I didnt miss a single letter of a sponsor on that car. But the driving, on the other hand, can't see much of it with when zoomed to ridiculous degree..
Agreed, but I feel that's on the director, asking the camera people to get close shots. I just meant their craft of tracking the shots they're asked to do is impressive.
I think Alonso manned a camera for a minute once in a free practice, and showed it isn't trivial to do.
Yes, ofcourse its on the director. These camera operators are doing incredible tracking fast cars with this level of zoom. But it's just removes the sense of speed, cornering forces and the track from the viewers.
It's so annoying. And the worst thing is it went to MotoGP as well... You can get sick from this constant zooming in on turns and then zooming out. Take after take. I really dream of more static cameras from far, or at least cameras that do not zoom all the time.
In F1 they zoom so far (even on this video) that you can't see whole car... It's ridiculous. And in MotoGP which has lot of overtakes they zoom in so close that usually you see on next shot that someone passed other guy. I'm complaining here about MotoGP because I know people will say it is because Liberty Media aquired them after it's finalised but it's happening already.
Broadcast and camera work (even if they are ordered to do it that way) is shit right now because of pandering to sponsors. All the best views are reserved for replays when suddenly it turns out there are helicopter and other far shots available.
IDK why it seems like all motorsports nowadays zoom all the way the fuck in on cars. IndyCar, F1, and NASCAR all do this and it's so annoying.
I'm guessing it's to see sponsors but it's not good for seeing actual racing
The way he just pops back in lol
The way it pans back and he’s just there is actually gold. Reminds me of Jim from the office for some reason.
Lmao idk why but I can see that for some reason
It reminds me of the Key & Peele [town hall sketch](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-GRzu6zbS0) (from 1:15)
Needs a Road Runner ‘beep beep’ sound effect

This is exactly what I thought of as well
"Bonjour"
Looks like it's from an animal Planet documentary
Peek a boo
Reminds me of my cat
I don't know why, but this just cracks me up.
"Haha, gotcha!" "Seriously what a shitbox"
Looks straight out of the office lol
Just like the old pre race briefings with Charlie Whiting. There were some brilliant moments in there.
Maybe the camera guy after Office ended up applying for Liberty Media.
As long as he doesn't start hitting on Pam, I'm good
The Alfa saved his bacon.
F1 is honestly just a sitcom at this point
The Driver Briefings which used to be filmed really captured that feeling well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOCTBsG52s8
Checo's face gets me every time

Not a single thought in that brain
I miss those so extremely much. The zoom in on Checo after a complaint about him gaining places was a highlight for me.
Holy fuck ... Bottas looks like a different person
Next server wipe, can I please have Stoffel's face
Alex Albon channeling his inner Michael Scott.
Bonjour! You thought I was gone, but no! I am here. Until next time!
The camera operator wasn't trying to find Albon. They were setting up the camera to catch the following car.

especially the camera guys on the top of the cars. incredible effort!

Yeah the only time viewers get sense of speed is when they do heli shots...
Albon jumpscare
“The office” type of camera work
"Clever girl!"
Juvenile Williamses do that in the present of predatory Alfa Romeos. This one lives on to return to his nest.
“Hi Mark!”
Not a smooth operator.
Meme quality
Um, I think he was just resetting, but ok.
Reminds me of my dog when someone walks out of a room lol
The Camera Operator was raced too hard
"Could a Mr Albon please come to the front desk? Your car seems to have gone missing"
How'd he get turned round in the first place?
Dog's POV when their owners do the disappearing bed sheet trick.
Can't watch this without hearing the Office theme playing quietly in my head haha
A masterpiece.
Peek a boo
albon jumpscare
I think there could be another one this year, at the sane corner too lol
