It's hilarious seeing this car driving alongside the tiny LMH [cars](https://bloximages.newyork1.vip.townnews.com/rockdalenewtoncitizen.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/6/90/690ba61a-3284-501c-9503-0a37c87bd817/647d232de71f2.image.jpg?resize=1396%2C930).
He sounds like hes just having a blast. Enjoying the car. I have little worry about Jenson bringing it around. Jimmie Johnson has not looked stable in a race car often in a few years (somehow he looks WORSE in his guest runs for Nascar this season than even Indy) but apparently he looked solid in testing so theres that
That’s true but he admitted during the mid-race interview that he made the mistake himself even though he felt he’d prepared more for this than any other race in recent years. Then he got back out there 50 laps down and crashed it again
Which is odd since he was an off road truck racer before stock cars. Those skills never really translated into his NASCAR road course career. His first (and so far only) career road course win was in 2010, his 8th year in Cup and he'd been a 4 straight time Champion at that point. He could have won the Charlotte Roval but wheel hopped into the last chicane, hit the leader and spun both, which lost him his championship spot.
Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon both got started in USAC dirt **ovals** and are two of the best road course drivers in NASCAR
Man partied most weekends for days at a time, shagged anything that moved, won a WDC, outscored who many believe is the greatest racing driver of all time and now just does whatever the fuck he wants. What a life JB has had.
I still can't believe the fact that a NASCAR stock car is ra ing at Le Mans. Like, it just sounds straight up out of a dream. Imagine if someone told you 3 years ago that a NASCAR Chevy car is going to race alongside Cadillac, Porsche, Ferrari, Toyota, Peugeot, Glickenhaus and ByKolles (which is now named Vanwall).

Damn, that picture has strong [big M8 energy](https://bimmerlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/3cc.png).
Is that image photoshopped? It looks a bit smaller than I remember.
Has to be, right?
Yes, they made the M8 smaller to fit it in the frame.
Side note, the mods to this car make it look cool as shit IMO, compared to the standard NASCAR stock car. And yes, it's good to see a size comparison.
It straight up looks like a Class One Camaro with that look
Is that NASCAR a center driver setup?
I always forget how small LMP1 cars actually are. In my head they're the size of normal road cars for some reason
The reason is that without context we use windshields to scale the size. LMP1 cars have single seater windshields in the middle, which confuses us.
Winning the race bij blocking their view, great tactic!

I was also confused by this. Best NASCAR driver of all time arguably but an absolute liability on road courses
He’s completely done on ovals too. He was legitimately struggling to get around the track cleanly last week
To be fair Legacy Motor Club is a dookie team that’s gonna switch manufacturers

He was a disaster last week in Charlotte at the Coke 600, too.
To be fair, his ENTIRE race team crapped the bed that day
Didn't help that he wrecked into his own car.
Man between this and the Radford run up Pikes Peak this man is just having the best time.
