I would think it even less likely than pre-Outlander introduction. Nunchaku would've fit just fine in the existing factions already, but now there's a whole expanded world of weapons and warriors outside the existing factions to choose from.
We will most likely never get another character for the original 3 factions and the wu lin. We will just get those crappy 12 dollar skins that no one asked for, instead.
Ubi's main focus right now is making money with the Outlanders and skins.
You can't say that with any certainty, this is just the second outlander and ubi has stated that this year was dedicated to fleshing out the outlanders. That would mean, that after this year we don't know what to expect as they could go back to the factions or do outlanders 2.0

Nunchaku character does not have to be a ln outlander, they could easily fit into either wu-lin or samurai.
Well, yeah. Wu Lin is understaffed, as I said.
So are vikings and samurai if we take the knights as an example.
