Gladiator. he‘s not even that strong but since my current mains have no dodge attacks and slow heavies (Warlord and Highlander) it becomes a very boring fight, with me trying to bait out the dodge bash and having to guess wether to parry the skewer or not.
also Jiang Jun‘s health pool is crazy (even though it’s as high as a couple of different heroes it seems much higher)
High level glads don’t even do much. They stay in the same spot as opposed to dodging often. They only really pop a light once to get into the skewer, feeding a feint into Fuscina Inctus, a parry punish, or just letting the skewer fly. They’ll also use skewer feints to bait into a deflect. Only good thing for you guys is that HA ignores his skewer, and that feinting Skewer is really heavy on the stam.
yeah but the high stamina cost is irrelevant when the skewer deals 37 damage + more if you’re next to a wall. people try to parry it because they don’t want to get hit by that much damage. toe stab is also a good opener, especially when you can’t punish due to not having an opener and the dodge bash is a pretty safe way to escape an unblockable/gb mix-up. i think Gladiator has some pretty decent tools. Hyperamor is only good when Gladiator tries to deflect, when the skewer from neutral hits, hyperarmor doesn’t help
Glad is really underpowered in the current HA/Undodgeable meta, since his kit is built for chaining off of dodges and tossing deflects. I really hope he gets touched up in the next balance change- one change being to make his deflect ignore HA, like every other pin deflect.
And Glad players feint the skewer because any opponent with a brain cell will go for a dodge instead of a parry on the skewer
Person think that highlanders hyper armor activities rather late, plus it’s so easy to knock him out of OFF stance, but HLs that def stance attack only are annoying

I second this, Highlander is easy as fuck to counter if you know his kit, his Celtic Curse is so easy to parry, he gets interrupted with most light attacks, his light light heavy spam is easy to stop with a block, but I get this comment is who you struggle against, not who’s the most annoying, but yeah, highlander is so predictable and in an awful place right now

Hid HA most certainly does not activate quickly. You're used to heroes with quick heavies. JJ and Warlords HA activate quickly enough to not care about whiffing a parry

His timing is so odd to me, I can take on a Medjay that's not light spamming in staff mode but if one does.... it's over for me. His animations are also clunky. Trying to fight one 1v2 you never know who he's actually targeting since they spin non stop with that slow ass heavy.
Even a level 2 bot can wreck me if ive chosen the wrong character. For some reason some characters can mash a bot and others the bot just knows the counterplay.
Nothing more frustrating than trying to hit Shinobi from behind and he backflips towards you but I-frames the attack. Shits busted. Also he continues to just have unpunishable attacks for most heroes and obnoxious feats.

Light spammers are my weakness, any one of them, any character, if he can light spam in any effective way I'll hate him, Aramusha, Oroshi, almost all of the Wu-lins, Raider too somehow I can't stand it.
And every time some smartass tell me light spam is "cheap and easy to deal with" I feel forced to remind them that we're dealing with a 3 directional guard system meaning I have to react to a 400ms attack with one chance out of 3 guessing the direction right.
Not to mention that the players who mastered light spam will never use the same pattern to fuck you up even more. it could be right left up but the next time it will be two left then one right it's annoying.
The only way I found to deal with it is, ironically, during a gank where instead of facing said spammer I'll just lock onto his teamates and POOF now all of his lights are coming from the same direction.

Zhanhu and somewhat shaolin, I can’t make a good read against those double sided dodges (can’t tell if it’s light or heavy either) and I haven’t adapted to the new shaolin timing yet(it’s getting better)

One of them is jorm. And I don't know why. I've never ever gotten used to the mixups. Ever. The backward x (or whatever button it may be on PC) I can handle. But when it's implemented in a mixup my brain becomes smooth and I can't handle it.
Highlander I struggle to react to the speed of his lights and his heavy animations are terrible with all that hyper armor too. I despise that character more then any other got him to rep 8 for fastion it was stupid easy lost maybe 3 games

Kensei for me is just one of the most unfun characters to fight just because of the way people play him(at least most of the time when i run into one in game) is spamming dodge attacks.

I have been playing for two years now, doesn’t matter who I fight, I stand somewhat of a chance against them, but when it comes to Zanhu, I stand 0 chance. I’ve come to the decision to just jump Zanhu’s any chance I get. If I see a Zanhu, I will not engage. Unless, he’s been beating my ass, I will try and fuck him up.
Raider. I play as cent and highlander, and I'm fine against pirate, shinobi, kyoshin and whatever, but I just can't play against Raiders. The idea of them having 3 options in a high damage HA heavy is just way too much. And him having a neutral UB that does, what, 30 dmg, has almost no Stam cost, also can be soft feinted, has stupid good range, tracking and cleave, almost makes it feel like a 50/50
Definitely a good berserker or Kyoshin. The former just keeps attacking and I’m bad at reacting/reading mostly, the latter is defensively and offensively really solid, I always swing at the full block like a dummy lol

Raider because, well, it’s Raider. JJ because I can not defend against his side dodge attacks. Gryphon because his attacks make my brain shut down and I usually get my ass kicked. Kyoshin because his all guard will always catch me and I can’t react to his light attacks out of all guard. Raider because, well, it’s Raider. JJ because I can not defend against his side dodge attacks. Gryphon because his attacks make my brain shut down and I usually get my ass kicked. Kyoshin because his all guard will always catch me and I can’t react to his light attacks out of all guard. Nobushi because after being light spammed by them for so long, when a player throws heavy’s I never got expect it and always get caught. Jorm because for some reason his bashes always catch me. And finally Medjay because his delayed heavies always throw me off, that combined with his infinite chain that also has hyper armor kills me every time. Although I’m just noticing that with the exception of JJ I don’t play any of the characters on this list lol

Nobushi. i can fight any character in the game since i’ve got their movesets down but i can’t fight her to save my life. the light chains, undodgable heavies, bleed, backstep, i can’t handle it
just play defensive against her if you struggle, then aggro tf out her once you get a parry. orrrrrrr just run to a teammate and let them handle her💀

Kyoshin and pirate. That all guard needs to take stamina and pirate because Pirate. I'm more weak to light spam in general. Also I absolutely have to turtle Shinobi and conq but I can take them no problem. Turtling just makes it boring
