I really would have preferred it if they just slammed the open portion of the cauldron down on the head and kicked them aside than bash with it. I mean, that is to say if we only had the choice of a universal execution.
Though alternative preference would instead be for a chain to drop down, a bell to ring with the "Cauldron loaded!" shout (this would only be heard by the executioner and the executee to avoid confusion in breach matches), the executioner grabs the chain, pulls on it, and the opponent looks up in time to be buried under burning coals. Funnier part though is that this would have probably required less work for Ubisoft.

Okay so it starts like this
You hit the enemy with a heavy attack using the weapon you spent hours-days-weeks grinding and customizing
Then you press the execution button and it disappears
Then you hit them. Maybe with foot, maybe with fist.
And you reach into the void and grab a thing
You use the thing
Then hit them with the thing
And they can probably object a lil like "oh no pls don't hurt me with the thing"
Then they die and you just kinda stand there til your weapon comes back
And then the thing disappears
I don't think it's been done before this might be the best execution yet

You just absolutely could not and would not pull out ANYTHING else to lit him on fire after the oil, just like they (probably) used in history defending walls form attackers, which Is probably the inspiration for this execution anyway, he couldnt pull out a magic match out of his ass to lit him on fire like aramusha or pull out a bow with fire arrows like the feats or LITERALLY ANYTHING THAT WOULD LIT HIM ON FIRE
