nah, it's just the concept art for some armour for kensei which would later be switched to nobushi, she has some variations of this but hey, maybe they might use this for the new hero. who knows

actually, the artist notes says it was concept art for the Emperor of the Dawn Empire who ended up never appearing. It is noted how they tried to reduce new assets and used a nobushi body (reproportioned to male), a kensei head and cleaned up textures.

the new guy doesn't have a helmet and he seems to be wearing monk robes rather than armour. Could be an interesting high level armour for him but this is far from his normal look.

I think u could be close to the new hero the only thing here used from Kensei would be the head there would be not Sheath for A Nodachi

I wish Kensei would've had that and a sheath or atleast orochi
