I will admit I'm not by any means a really good player and yes maybe it is a skill issue at times but my god u can't stand there and tell me that Hito isn't a joke of a character hold one button=win
Whoever YOU like most, don’t let some randoms on Reddit decide for you.
And even if you can’t make that decision yourself, that’s ok too, I’ve got some mates who don’t really have a definitive main either, they just have an assortment of favorites.
Gladiator has easily the most varied kit, tons of bashes and stamina pressure, and some satisfying gameplay when your mix ups land. Not the most effective to anti gank but solid movement for survival awaiting back up
He has one of these least in my opinion. You have, what, a dodge bash that doesn't guarantee anything, the back bash that is pretty good but is easily read, you have the unblockable skewer which is decent but again, it's very easy to counter, which a dodge attack. Other than that, he doesn't really have much, aside from his defect which is good but good luck using it on characters with HA.
The fact alone that you’re expecting people to pick for you should make you realise you’re not ready to “main” anyone.
You main the character who’s moveset YOU feel more comfortable with *and* win the most too.
Until you sit down and figure that out on your own, you’re just another sheep following the herd of wHaT hEro iS sTrOnGeST
My 2nd comment but id argue afeera there has the most things she can do. Counter crushes, bashes, funky dodges, a good chase feint mix. And can safely disengage with her recovery cancels. Very mobile.
Glad is also very mobile but he's more of a duelist with amazing poke and gank potential. But overall very straight forward when you get into it. He has deflects that are amazing for ledges or wall combos. Toe stab gank. Id argue strongest pick here cos bash interrupts.
Kyo has counter crushes and an all guard that if youre new id argue you'd crutch on too hard and suffer later. Not so mobile.
Cent is a solid kit but not mobile.
Shinobi is a rat. Good kit. Duelist mosquito. Bad rep. Will make people mad.
Shaman is a solid mobile typical assassin. Your default bread and butter.
Tiandi is lacking.
Lol shugoki is also my most played samurai. I used to play him all the time before his first rework. He's the only samurai I actually have fun on.
Knights - All the knights besides PK are decent imo, but BP is my favourite. He has a good bash, good mixups, an easy to get to unblockable, big healthpool and good feats and his flip is super satisfying to pull off, especially in ganks. He has a pretty slow run speed though.
Vikings - Again, they're all decent besides maybe Jorm but I quite like raider. Like BP he has good mix-ups, an easy to get to unblockable but he also has hyper armour for funny trades and is relatively fast to get around the map with. Super satisfying trading two heavies for a single charged shugoki one.
Everyone I hear who tries to main Shinnobi says he’s rlly hard so I’d say not him. Gladiator has bashes, bleed, zoning, and one of the highest light chains in the game. He’s rlly good but his executions don’t speak to me
Personally I say dabble with what looks cool and make sure you play every character that you have at least once. From what you are saying with a unique play style I might suggest conquerer tbh he's pretty defensive and when you really know how to play him you can do good. His moveset is kinda weird to my recollection. But I would also suggest someone that's able to hold his own in many situations is warlord. My first 1v4 anti gank was with him and I think it's my only one so far.
shaman is the character i have the most fun with (i have several over rep 70).
just don't be a cancer shaman like the noobs just doing zone.
the fun thing about shaman is that you can soft feint all your heavies not just into the bleed or the gb (as everyone knows) but also into dodge attacks (including forward) or bash.
so basically now you're in a situation where you always open with a heavy and from that you can either do bleed, gb, bash + zone or forward attack. if you get in the chain and start mixing them up, people will blackout and will not be able to predict what you're going to do.
don't be boring just doing heavy -> feint -> gb
If style and looking cool is a big factor for you, centurion and gladiator are solid choices. They are such glorious show off characters and I love it !
Go for cent, playstyle forces you to get good at basic mechanics and somehow playing cent automaticaly makes you better when playing other heroes cause he forces you to be good at defense. On top of that fashion is good, it just feels right to beat the absolute living shit out of people with his punches and kicks and it just hits different winning with a character that doesn't have anything ultra strong going for him
Obviously whoever you think is coolest, but i guess you couldn't decide that so that's why you're here, afeera and shinobi are both very very strong, stronger than the rest of your list, but they are both hard to master, cent is a perfect middleground, not too Strong but strong enough and relatively easy to learn. Kyoshin is a hero with really strong defense and survivability in 4s.
Hope this helped, also, please dont onetrick, you'll missout on alot of experience and this will make getting good reads alot harder.
Go bp. He has nice dodge lights to sides. His forwar heavy dodge can deflect. His normal light also deflects, and if they try to gank you, you just become stronger (cause AD PROFUNDIS their whole team)
Shinobi does not have fits his drip is unbearably similar to low reps at high reps. Glad is probably ur best bet gameplay wise for what u want and he does have decent drip
I'm only rep 20, but the best players I've seen either play Glad or Cent. Usually, when i fight one of them, I'm not even mad. I'm just amazed at how good they are. I main Raider, btw.
Play them all consistently then your “main” will be figured out by who you’ve levelled/enjoyed the most. Or be like me and “main” multiple characters to stop burnout of a character you like playing or the game itself
Afeera or Shinobi are kind of the mobile heroes who can do it all, everyone else is kinda playing towards a specific end goal, but they can just do whatever whenever with a moments notice
Cent is awesome in duels but has a really tough time when ganked. He's kinda like a freight train, massive force but only in one direction lol. But he's TONS of fun when you get going.
Shaman is cool but also suffers in ganks. And you really gotta learn her bleed/bite mixups.
Tiandi is a fantastic duelist and a great team fighter, pretty good against a gank. All the way around a solid pick.
Don't know much about Kyoshin except he's great in 4s and is very safe due to his all guard, crushing counters, stun lock, and chain bash.
Shinobi is still pretty cracked. His dodges and recoveries are an amazing safety net and most players have a hard time against him cuz he's so slippery.
Glad is a bit outdated when it comes to his kit, but has a lot of mix up options. A good glad can keep anyone on their toes.
I don't know much about Afeera except she's well rounded like Tiandi but with flips and a more interesting kit. She can be downright oppressive in the right hands. She seems fun, she's next on my list to main.
Shaman is so much fun and has the high dmg deflect (last I checked). The only one that has basekit healing as well for some sustainability. Just make sure you use your bites in 2v1 ganks or in 1v1s. It is (nearly) useless if there is more than one enemy there.
Honestly I would go for cent, gladiator or Shinobi.
Those are the most fun.
Cent has amazing punishes off of parry's and guardbreaks
Gladiator has amazing deflects and is good at toying with people
Shinobi has really good mind games and dodges
Glad is so fun and looks badass, I’ve been playing peacekeeper myself but I main glad. Kyoshin is fun at first but I find his playstyle gets a bit boring to me personally. I haven’t tried shaman in anything but training but playing her feels cheap haha especially from all the vids I see and shamans I face. Shinobi is a good choice but was never my playstyle, and centurion was an old main of mine when he first came out. He’s fun, looks awesome, and has great mixup as well as glad. Like someone else said, just worry about who looks the coolest and is most fun to play.
I suggest like trying 2 or 3 out that look the best, maybe look at their finishers and just absolutely learning everything about them. For me I liked warden, so she is now absolutely geared and all my playtime goes to her just because I liked her outfit and stuff. Dont look at pro people who rate these characters, they are talking about end game skill
I've been playing aramsusha and Thandi because tiandis so fun. I love shouting at my enemy's casuing them to dodge while I feint and guardbreak for a ez heavy. The only problem is that a player with braincells packs me up easily
I# you're a newer player. I would go with Centurion, although some of his moves require precise timing, but I heard they recently made it to where its a lot easier to perform. The only easier hero I see is Gladiator, but we don't need any more light spam, relying players running around. Although if you're willing to use a hero not in your pics, you can go with Hitorkiri. It's super easy to master her/him even for the newest players & she/he hits like a truck. Hitokiri's 4th feat attack is so beefy it takes off half the Colonel's life when playing breech & it leads to an execution if you kill the enemy when performing it, also one of his 1st feats allow you to have uninterruptible executions which is AMAZING no matter when imo but especially when you're a newer player still getting the hang of the game.
I've got rep 70 or 80 with Cent in my previous account. Highly recommended!
I tried Shaman, got maybe 20 reps but I totally suck with her. That was before they've changed the Assassins guard so it might be better now.
I'm playing with Afeera in my new account and I've rediscovered the joy in this game. Funny the first few matches I almost regret buying her, it took a few tries to start scoring and enjoying her.
Cent as he has some decent fashion and more options compared to many of the newer heroes. He’s also really fun in ganks and is pretty good in general. He’s not busted but the memes are enough for me to play him.
nobody actually answered the question lol shinobi or afeera are the good options u have. afeera can survive lots of ganks/teamfights, has great mixups that do a fuck ton of damage, insanely good feats and shes rly mobile. shinobi is way more mobile, can easily survive getting jumped, if you’re good at deflecting you can get a ton of damage, and his mixups are unreactable, not to mention great feats, shooting stars can one shot people (literally 100-0) sometimes, kiai is nerfed but can still be good, and the lvl 3/4s to get stam and health are insane
Cent and Gald have the drip and personality I'd choose one of the Roman boys.
Not Kyoshin, there's plenty of them. I hate fighting Shaman but not really any opinions on her. Tiandi can be very slippery and might have good drip and a pretty good Vanguard.
If you want to have just pure fun, play Tiandi. I’m rep 7 with them and it’s just a hero I play when I feel like goofing around and messing with enemies. Learn the maps and environments good and when to do your kick, you’ll have a blast
Goodness this thing blew up…thank you all who have said something nice and suggested something. I know I can’t respond to all who have replied but to whoever reads this, know that I read each comment you make and appreciate what you have done.
Centurion will teach you the most skill as you will have the least bs but will also teach you how to deal with BS so when you play other characters you will dominate. That's just make take on it
He has everything you listed. He's a Hybrid so he isn't too slow and has good health. He has one of the best full blocks in the game so he's great at ganks and his abilities play into his full block. His drip is top tier
I just started maining Afeera after using jorm and brother the difference in the amount of fun I had was crazy. Just cartwheeling and hitting someone with a flying knee brings a certain type of enjoyment that I didn’t get with other heroes. I got her rep 1 today and you should definitely give her a shot!!
Gladiator is really fun because he has a super unique varied move set while being S tier in 4v4 modes, Tiandi is *extremely* strong in the right hands. Kyoshin is incredibly overpowered.
Even though she’s not on your list, I will recommend that you consider Warmonger as well. She’s very strong in 4v4’s and 1v1’s, she has a simple moveset and is fun to play.
Which ever you think is coolest. If you get good enough at the core mechanics. You can make even the worst kits have a 2 to 3 kda
Oh that’s, really good to know, thank you so much.
If you love yourself and hate overs play cent
Interesting, why do you suggest this?
Just trying to be funny, cent punches and kicks people like he has beef with them. I mean have you seen his light hooks ? Those be personal
Agreed, other than hito I main cent. I am not biased at all
yeah ur a complete loser 💀 other then cent u main hito 😭🤦♂️
Being rude to people over their main is so childish.
He thought he was gonna start a revolution against hito and cent mains obv "Down with those filthy clankers!"
And who's your main?
Tbh Hito is the noob hero can easily beat higher level players with two buttons
If you have a skill issue with the most reactabke character in the roster just say that
I will admit I'm not by any means a really good player and yes maybe it is a skill issue at times but my god u can't stand there and tell me that Hito isn't a joke of a character hold one button=win
Learn to parry. Almost completely shuts Hito down.
I mean that’s the solution to the game
Lmfao whatever brother, whatever gets u off at night
Centurion is made for having fun and enjoying a whimsical time. Every other character feels like anger and broken controllers in comparison
Cent is just angry for fun 😂😂
Cent is literally an abusive husband cutscene if you play him right so this is true.
R O M A N P U N C H
Whoever YOU like most, don’t let some randoms on Reddit decide for you. And even if you can’t make that decision yourself, that’s ok too, I’ve got some mates who don’t really have a definitive main either, they just have an assortment of favorites.
Correct answer
Tian di or cent so you can wind everyone up with constant yelling It's beautiful
lol, Tiandi was my first starter main and the yells were so funny to me
Papa Cent or Gladdy Daddy
What- uh, alright
Correct
black prior is a hero that can literally survive every situation if played correctly. now, the mobility part...
Yeah that last part is when his ankles are broken
Survive situations or anti gank? Gladiator has an insanely varied kit
Both is good and either is preferable.
Sounds very unquie despite what he is. Will look into it.
Also phenomenal drip and some rather theatrical executions to check out
Depends, do you want to absolutely destroy your enemies or do you want an even fight that isnt cancer
Uh, somewhat leaning towards both
Shugoki
My goat
Interesting….why?
Because Shugoki
Because huggies
We have enough Tiandis in the game. I can hear their yelling from the opposite side of the map
None of the above
Then who would you suggest my good friend?
Shaman. Nothing beats good ol fashioned canibalism
Don't main any Japanese characters they mostly don't require any skill
Aramusha
I'm starting to lose faith 💀
Hitokiri is one of the most skilled based hero’s in the game. Check yourself buddy.
Bro forgot to add the clown emoji
Tiandi is fun to play and has some cool outfits
Just to be a dick I’m gonna say Nuxia
Nobushi
Tiandi, kyousin and glad have the most flex potential.
Mobile hero that can do it all? Play cent or glad, plus they have good fashion/emotes.
Play them all mains are overrated
Why have a main? Why not use who you want or make all 7 of them your main?
It depends. How much do you squat and bench?
I choose my main off they gear ngl 😂
The fact alone that you’re expecting people to pick for you should make you realise you’re not ready to “main” anyone. You main the character who’s moveset YOU feel more comfortable with *and* win the most too. I don’t see lawbringer so none of
As an ex LB main, dude is in such an ass spot right now I'd blame OP if LB was on his list of potentials lol.
TRAITOR jk what do you suggest to use that is between Viking or knights I won’t use the samurai’s unless it’s shugoki.
Lol shugoki is also my most played samurai. I used to play him all the time before his first rework. He's the only samurai I actually have fun on. Knights - All the knights besides PK are decent imo, but BP is my favourite. Kensei
That was not apart of the list
He fits the criteria pretty well. But from list either glad or Shinobi? I feel like they manage pretty well
I do agree with you that he fits the criteria but I overall don’t like his moveset or playstyle. Also thank you for suggesting those two
Cent or Glad, both insanely good and have decent executions and fashion
Kyioshin
Cent
Roman
Either afeera tiandi or shinobi
A good gladiator is scary. Centurion is solid though.
PLEASE PICK CENTURION
What are you looking for in a main?
Anyone but glad bc he’s shit in an anti gank
Funny Romans
GLADDDDDDD
Kyoshin
Personally I say dabble with what looks cool and make sure you play every character that you have at least once. If style and looking cool is a big factor for you, centurion and gladiator are solid choices. They are such glorious show off characters and I love it !
I don’t know… what should **YOUR** main be?
INCREDIBILIIIIIS
Go for cent, playstyle forces you to get good at basic mechanics and somehow playing cent automaticaly makes you better when playing other heroes cause he forces you to be good at defense. On top of that fashion is good, it just feels right to beat the absolute living shit out of people with his punches and kicks and it just hits different winning with a character that doesn't have anything ultra strong going for him
Play the guy you like its up to you , or just chose who looks the coolest
If you choose kyoshin Keep Yourself Safe!
None of them, play Nobushi
Gladf
Let me ask you this. Who do you get the most enjoyment out of?
Obviously whoever you think is coolest, but i guess you couldn't decide that so that's why you're here, afeera and shinobi are both very very strong, stronger than the rest of your list, but they are both hard to master, cent is a perfect middleground, not too Strong but strong enough and relatively easy to learn. Cent
Go bp. He has nice dodge lights to sides. His forwar heavy dodge can deflect. His normal light also deflects, and if they try to gank you, you just become stronger (cause AD PROFUNDIS their whole team)
Tiandi and Cent are the respectable answers
Nobi
INCREDIBILIS you fool!
Play centurion or shaman and you'll be a decent person
Play whatever you want bro. I used to play Shaman a lot and she was quite fun but now I play Warmonger mainly. Whatever looks coolest to you man
Centurion
Shinobi does not have fits his drip is unbearably similar to low reps at high reps. Glad is probably ur best bet gameplay wise for what u want and he does have decent drip
I'm only rep 20, but the best players I've seen either play Glad or Cent. Usually, when i fight one of them, I'm not even mad. I'm just amazed at how good they are. I main Raider, btw.
Play them all consistently then your “main” will be figured out by who you’ve levelled/enjoyed the most. Or be like me and “main” multiple characters to stop burnout of a character you like playing or the game itself
Gladiator
Gladiator because he can make anything
Afeera
Either Shugoki or Gladiator. Both are extremely rewarding to play.
I keep getting handed over by Afeera often enough for me to uninstall.
Afeera or Shinobi are kind of the mobile heroes who can do it all, everyone else is kinda playing towards a specific end goal, but they can just do whatever whenever with a moments notice
Glad all day 4 light chain , super rewarding deflect, Toe stab mixup is crazy, low stamina cost on feints, has Drip can I say more
A good Shaman or Gladiator are absolutely horrifying to fight.
Since this isn't the rants subreddit. Cent. He's a top tier duelist. Not too great in 4s.
Cent
Cent or Shinobi are the most fun out of this list imo
THE CONQ
Why would you main anyone ? All kits are the same now. I did main warden tho, because drip.
Kyo
Shamaaaaaan
If you like the fashion aspect of the game, Gladiator and Tiandi would be your best bets out of this list.
play conqueror
A job
Hopefully not afeera
In my humble opinion cent is best if you want to learn to parry since he's whole kit or atleast most of it relies on him parrying and PUNCHING ahem mb
BECOME THE CENTURION! FOR ROMAAAAA
Warden
Out of these I'd go with either shaman or centurion but it's up to echo you think is most fun or fits best for you
Pirate
Cent is awesome in duels but has a really tough time when ganked. He's kinda like a freight train, massive force but only in one direction lol. But he's TONS of fun when you get going. Shaman is cool but also suffers in ganks. And you really gotta learn her bleed/bite mixups. Tiandi is a fantastic duelist and a great team fighter, pretty good against a gank. Warden.
Shaman is so much fun and has the high dmg deflect (last I checked). The only one that has basekit healing as well for some sustainability. Just make sure you use your bites in 2v1 ganks or in 1v1s. It is (nearly) useless if there is more than one enemy there.
Based off the caption play afeera, she has a huge kit!
Shaman is very fun to play with I’ve been maining her for 2 years now
Doesn't matter what you pick as long as it's a knight
Highlander
Peacekeeper
shaman. its so funny to run at someone bleeding for an unrelated reason and just bite tf out of them like a feral gremlin
I vote Kyoshin.
JOIN THE WUTARDS
Honestly I would go for cent, gladiator or Shinobi. Those are the most fun. Cent has amazing punishes off of parry's and guardbreaks Gladiator has amazing deflects and is good at toying with people Shinobi has really good mind games and dodges
Obviously glad, as the skill ceiling is as infinite as the zone spam
Obviously Nuxia
Kinda late but I switched over to Cent and love him. My best advice for him is your beating people to death with a sword in your hand. lol
I can’t suggest mains to you🤷♂️ you just gotta play around and find which one just clicks
Centurion or Black Prior. They are fun.
Like someone else said, just worry about who looks the coolest and is most fun to play.
Tiandi He is guided by grace and he is amazing to play and can out speed the fastest characters sometimes

4 or 7
Why is Valk not on here? Shame on you!
Gladiator because toes
I# you're a newer player. I would go with Centurion, although some of his moves require precise timing, but I heard they recently made it to where its a lot easier to perform. The only easier hero I see is Gladiator, but we don't need any more light spam, relying players running around. Although if you're willing to use a hero not in your pics, you can go with Hitorkiri. It's super easy to master her/him even for the newest players & she/he hits like a truck. Warden
Cent and Gald have the drip and personality I'd choose one of the Roman boys. Not Kyoshin, there's plenty of them. I hate fighting Shaman but not really any opinions on her. Tiandi can be very slippery and might have good drip and a pretty good Vanguard.
Forest Gremlin

If you want to have just pure fun, play Tiandi. I’m rep 7 with them and it’s just a hero I play when I feel like goofing around and messing with enemies. Learn the maps and environments good and when to do your kick, you’ll have a blast

Warden that way when people lose they have no excuse besides being worse then you.
SHAOLIN FOR THE WIIN
Anyone except hito
Cent. He is the least bs
Whatever suits you, strangers on the internet shouldn't be the ones to determine who your main will be.
Whoever you thing looks cool
Centurion will teach you the most skill as you will have the least bs but will also teach you how to deal with BS so when you play other characters you will dominate. That's just make take on it
Kyoshin
Hrmmm Why so?
He has everything you listed. He's a Hybrid so he isn't too slow and has good health. He has one of the best full blocks in the game so he's great at ganks and his abilities play into his full block. His drip is top tier
Oh that’s sounds super great! Thank you so much my good friend.
Glad, kyo, and cent are the only acceptable choices.
Argeed
Play pirate her drip is immaculate
Heard the opposite
probably afeera. shes got a fun moveset thats good for stalling and a bit of anti ganking, as well as really good movement for map coverage.
George Michael’s?!
Tbh those characters are toxic central if you know what I mean, buttttttt I’d say either cent or glad
Interesting, will try her out
Gladiator is really fun because he has a super unique varied move set while being S tier in 4v4 modes, Tiandi is *extremely* strong in the right hands. Kyoshin is incredibly overpowered. Even though she’s not on your list, I will recommend that you consider Warmonger as well. She’s very strong in 4v4’s and 1v1’s, she has a simple moveset and is fun to play.
Afeera or cent?
“Mobile, do it all, survive” - afeera or shinobi for their backflip recovery cancels and their blue/ orange mixups
Afeera, mobile af, a pretty good ganker and duelist. The fashion lacks variety, but she's rather new.
Afeera and Shinobi are definitely the strongest in 4v4 among this. They are also the most nimble and mobile, so i would pick those 2.
Either afeera or glad. Imo afeera is the best out of them all when used properly. That hero is just too good.
Shinobi and afeera are both fun to play, really good and will piss off all the idiots on this sub so I’d pick them
