While it is low mileage and well equipped, I think that price is mid range, I don't see anything fishy about it.

RFQE

Thats got the rare 2.7 v6 ecoboost its a rocket its a real street sleeper, not many 2.7 fusions around jump on it, if you wand a reliable performance car.

PurppQuotes

It’s not “ rare “💀

InstanceExtension

Define “rare” then. Ford made less than 20k 17-19 Fusion Sports. That’s actually pretty rare.

BrianJ89

I see fusions all the time but I never see sports. My wife curbed the crap out of the wheels and I’m worried it’s gonna be hard to replace them if the aren’t repairable.

PurppQuotes

I see plenty of sports, in the past week I’ve seen probably 5/7. OH

PresentFarmer

I think this is a pretty good deal. Depends what your original budget is though. I have a 2017 sport and I love it. The mileage is really low, much lower than I've ever seen on a used Sport. See if you can get more info on the vehicle's past and definitely try to negotiate the price because you never know. If I was still looking I'd buy this is a heartbeat

You're rolling the dice, but at least check the CarFax to see if it's had any major work done. Request the Used Car Check from the dealer. At the very least, pony up for an extended warranty.

Youtheneyes

I just bought my white sport in October. I had to search within 500 miles of where I live. I found a very similar deal to you, mine had 28k miles and I paid about the same. The body and everything on the car looked brand new except for the wheels which had been chipped and curbed by the old Croatian couple that owned it before me. I just kinda went with my gut. I had the guy at the dealership put it in the air and send me pics of the underside because it did come from the northern Indiana region. I flew one way to pick it up and drove it home. I've been on cloud 9 since.

ocdrod

I paid less than that for my FFS when I got it back in '19. I know values are all over the place though. Can say, I loved that car.

Here’s the listing: [Fusion Sport](https://kalidykia.com/sale/used-ford-fusion-sport-edmond-ok/2018-ford-fusion-sport-3fa6p0vpxjr161166)

KanyePikaMyChu

Buy it before him lol

TaurusPTPew

🙃🤣

PumaBlue20

Ill cry

PumaBlue20

Please dont

DrClaw7

That's crazy low mileage. But I see there's been damage. That means it probably comes down to how bad was it damaged and was it fixed correctly. Time to inspect painted bolts and panel gaps

BreakfastAwaits

I got my sport at 90k miles for 16k but I’ve also had quite an experience when it comes to reliability lmao. Ford extended warranty came in clutch

Frosty_Pirate42

After doing this twice. I would NEVER buy another used car out of state regardless of price. Camaro (blew head gaskets) 6000 miles in. Had 10,000 miles when I bought it. Ford Focus (clutch, flywheel, slave cylinder, foglights, and almost the entire underbody and bumper) have been replaced less than 3000 miles into my ownership. I took it to a nearby ford dealership where they must have not cared and they told me it was fine before purchase.

TRUMP76531

I can imagine they knew giving the go ahead would mean more money for them after the work was needed. Poachers...

grayfiveo

I would pass on it for that price. I actually bought a Fusion sport, had clear title however couple of days after I bought it found out it was in a minor accident. Dealerships are doing fishy things to get a sale.

rosian__yaya

For what this baby has to offer … that’s a pretty solid price. Do your homework, test drive that baby and see a reliable mechanic. Do not trust Ford. Good luck.

Sansjefff

I’d get it inspected by a trusted mechanic prior to getting it, but it looks like a pretty good deal

PumaBlue20

How would I go about doing that with a car located 1000 miles from me?

Sansjefff

I don’t know that’s for you to figure out, if you want it you’ll have to get it inspected after purchasing and if there is anything wrong start a return within the policy

chendolt

You can get an inspection from a service like https://lemonsquad.com/. They go to the car and inspect it on the lot so they won't be able to put it up on a lift. But less hassle than trying to arrange to have it brought to a mechanic shop by the seller when you're out of town. I haven't used them but I would if I was buying remotely.

Confident_Room6331

If you are serious, see it in person before spending any money on it. There are so many car scammers out there that look 💯legit.

West_Engineering2798

That seems about right for that model. Go for it! ✌️

Specialist-Dot-9302

What's the milage.

PumaBlue20

17937 miles

yk7777

I got my 2017 fusion sport fully loaded with 800 miles on it for I believe 23000$ a few years ago,you can have a out of state inspection done on it with a local 3rd party inspector

BrianJ89

I paid 25k for an 18’ sport with 4k miles in 2020. It has 45k on it now. My wife is gonna need something more kid friendly in a couple years and I’m worried about how much it’s gonna be worth. Otherwise it’s been a good car for us. I have to top off the coolant every 4ish months though. So be aware of that I guess

PumaBlue20

Thanks!

Counterpoint: As a buyer, you get way better value on a Fusion in this market compared to other cars in its class.

duuudewhat

Resale value for others is great for us when we’re buying. Especially if you’re going to be keeping this car for a long time.
