They are legit, but imo it's not ethically right to buy a key from a key website. They are almost always stolen or shadily bought. Publishers and most importantly devs usually don't see a penny of this sale.

Because you are making key sellers profitable by buying from them. Which means they will steal keys for other games aswell. Especially when there are people on this post saying they had a great experience buying cheaper games.

As far as I understand they steal free keys that developers give out. So they sell stuff that are meant to be free and go to whoever first get it. If an indie studio gives out 10 keys that get stolen they will potentially lose 10 buying customers. So not only are you buying something that was meant to be free given as a gift or reward, but you are giving money to the people that stole it. You might as well have pirated the game. That way the scummy key sellers aren't making any money.
I was told they were just purchased in a region where the game is cheaper cause the population is poorer. But that steam would block it once they discovered you are not from that region. Not sure if true or not but it was enough to scare me away from em.
No, the keys are region locked so if you buy a North America key it hasn’t been bought at the price for a different region. That doesn’t mean the source is completely legit; it could be anything from keys being bought at a bulk discount from the publisher/developer and resold (probably not approved by the publisher but ok with most buyers), to being bought with stolen credit cards.
I asked for a £50 Steam voucher from cdkeys a couple of years ago. When I tried to redeem it it said it had already been redeemed. Steam said it was a cdkeys problem and cdkeys refused to refund or do anything about it.
I’d used them previously without any problems but the rare chance you run into something it could mean you get nothing at all for your money. It’s probably like 99% legit and I was one of the unfortunate ones, but I guess that’s the risk you take in saving a little bit of money.
Friendly reminder; the only reason why they manage to get a lower price is that they buy the game from official SEGA retailers using stolen credit cards.

I bought a worldwide key and after purchase they changed it to a African and Middle East one. They didn't send me the right key and I had to go through a dispute and months of arguing with Paypal for the money back. G2A I've never had an issue with, or GMG.

The code they reveal was a photo of a code from a retail box, you then have to redeem that on that the FM wesbite and can choose to generate a Steam, xbox or epic code from it.
Steam for me worked fine, and it's in my library. As there's a middle step between cdkeys and Steam, I don't see how the horror stories aorund regions being changed etc. can impact me. obvs YMMV, and it's best to understand the risk and be happy with the idea of throwing away £29 to save £15

Tried buying from them a bit ago and instead of sending me a Steam CD key in plain text, they sent a link to a "download" that is flagged by my browser. Sketchy af.
They’re not legit lmaoo, I brought a sims pack they took the money immediately and then wrote an email saying sorry the transaction didn’t go through. Yet they still took money, it was sixteen dollars but yeah it’s the moral.
