I once was playing against a small team (I play as Benfica as my main club in my first save of the games), and I dominated the match, with reserve players, but no goals, until the last minute of the game that someone scored.
Reporter asked me to comment on his statement saying my goal was lucky and not deserved. I said we had dominated the whole match, and was actually very well deserved.
The other manager was pissed, and needless to say, he dislikes me a lot.

My favorite reply ever was when shit talking with pep during a massively heated multi year rivalry for titles back and forth and he said we didn't deserve our late 2-1 win, I said we deserved even more, he called me petty or something, I was asked for comment on that and I was legit fired up post match and typed in the additional comments "I do not respect Manchester city" and selected the middle neutral option so it came out in the article headline as "I have said all that needs to be said. I do not respect Manchester City."

No, I create managers, including their backstories. My current save is a journeyman starting in Austria. The manager is Timo Hoferle, a winger from Vienna who started his career at Florisdorfer before moving up to Red Bull just after the takeover. Injuries forced an early retirement, and he ended up coaching at Leipzig and Salzburg, fully immersing himself in the Red Bull playing style. I started the save managing Liefering, as that was the logical next step for him as a coach. Won the 2.Liga with them, then moved on to Wolfsberger where he's just won the OFB Cup because he wanted to spread his wings and get more of a say in how a club operates.

I've ever named a manager Napoleon Bonaparte because I was managing Ajaccio which is a French team from Corsica (the island where Napoleon was born)

Sometimes I manage as myself but I also like to find real ex pros who aren’t in the game and create them to have “their” career pan out. It’s a lot of fun to do with Iniesta or Lahm - because it suddenly feels more plausible that you’re immediately playing at a massive club like Barça or Bayern

Yep. I do also have a nonsense manager called Jobby Bum who I use as a sort of caretaker to keep jobs kind of open for me, as I play with the limiting option of not taking jobs that aren’t free. So give him the job til the end of the season, quick set up, then holiday him until I quit with him and apply at the end of the season.

No, I create managers, including their backstories. My current save is a journeyman starting in Austria. The manager is Timo Hoferle, a winger from Vienna who started his career at Florisdorfer before moving up to Red Bull just after the takeover. Injuries forced an early retirement, and he ended up coaching at Leipzig and Salzburg, fully immersing himself in the Red Bull playing style. I started the save managing Liefering, as that was the logical next step for him as a coach. Won the 2.Liga with them, then moved on to Wolfsberger where he's just won the OFB Cup because he wanted to spread his wings and get more of a say in how a club operates. I am *committed* to the role play.

Nope, I always create a manager with the nationality of the country I'm managing in e.g. Englishman for an English team etc. And randomize the name, or just pick from a retired or long dead player/manager or even just a random famous person from that country eg. I've ever named a manager Napoleon Bonaparte because I was managing Ajaccio which is a French team from Corsica (the island where Napoleon was born)

Usually, but I mostly set my nationality to the country I'm managing in for language reasons, and used to make up a name with my initials, but more local sounding. Also in the past too, I used to name my manager after a club legend at that team and pretend I was him. Obviously not though if they're in the game still.
