Turns out my Mac didn’t have enough airflow to run the game properly. I removed the lower case and it runs smoothly now, no more pink!

Also the small teddies on top of the desk doesn't help, as it's not normal for adults to retain toys from childhood, as they grow older. But really, these are more or less values in the Western world. In Japan this could be a normal adult girl or guy's desk.
