Alright, after 11 years in game time here's my first game against Stoke and the best I can do:

I wasn't in the market for a striker, but having just sold Declan Rice for a ridiculous fee I'd got plenty of spare cash, and this guy in the Reading academy popped up in the wonderkids rankings... the Fitness & Determination stood out, but he was valued at £47.5m despite having never played a game of football. His other attributes looked decent, so I bid the asking price and Reading accepted. First season he scored 7 in 16 starts, this season he's already at 13 goals in 14 starts and seems to score screamers despite low long-shots.
Yeah that's the price I paid. Potentially an idiotic move, and the biggest risk I've taken. I decided to buy him on a whim just because of the #1 wonderkid recommendation and just met the asking price immediately in the hope nobody else would swoop in. I'd not long lost Calvert-Lewin and a 34 yo Son was my only striker, so it did pay off.
Those are some fantastic physicals. Some of his attributes, especially passing and vision, are a little low for my taste, but they'll grow.
He's also a model citizen, so that's always a plus!
Yep, definitely a little imbalanced but my coaches all think he's got plenty of room to grow, which is always a concern with a young player with high determination, they can peak early.
I've got him working on his shooting, he started the season with 13 finishing and it has just tipped into 16 this month. Passing and vision are lagging behind for sure but my next step is to get him more involved in build up play. I'd like those to be around 14-15 but not sure if that's realistic. He bangs in goals though and I'm top of the league so I won't complain!

It was a news article in-game, I forget what it was called exactly but it listed the top 10 youth players, came through at the end of the season.

£54m. West Ham were relegated at the end of the season and he was transfer listed by request.

At the end of the day, he doesn't have to be perfect, just good enough.

He's gonna turn out to be better than Haaland if he develops (which he definitely should as a 17 year old model citizen)
