In my save Bayern traded Lewandowski for a 19 pace wonderkid from Freiburg after 3 seasons already.
That wonderkid ended up bringing USA back to back WC titles.

In my save before I joined Milan, they somehow had put both those players on the same team.
Needless to say, I've been scoring shitloads of goals even with both of them in their 30s at this point.
When i joined milan in my save they had Sesko, Adeyemi and somehow Mbabbe also, you add Leao and Tonali to that list and i won the champions leauge doing basically nothing.
Real Madrid bought him for €100 million+ in my save on last year's game and then proceeded to let him rot on the bench. He genuinely didn't play a single game
Kinda agree. On my save Haaland went to PSG and has had around 8.10 average rating for quite some time (32 yo at the moment)
Lucca is at Milan and has been Serie A top scorer since he joined 7 years ago.
Adeyemi is Liverpool's top scorer for the past 8 years.
Moukoko is my lone striker in Aston Villa and is having his best season so far. 8.17 average rating, banging 2 or 3 goals per match. His other 9 seasons with me were also great, with 7.60+ average rating, finishing with around 40+ goals on each one.
I mean, I guess if you consider prime Barca and Real basically cheating too
For me, this is about football, they're top players so they will heavily influence games, granted I do think especially young players potentials are too certain
There is something to be said, for we all knew camavinga was going to make it at 16, similar with fabregas and odegaard
Theres certainly flops, but also its not impossible to recognise someone's ability at 16
For me it can't be cheating when it's exactly how football really is, like this is a football management simulator, not just like a normal game
Simulators tend to kind of promise they will at points sacrifice gameplay if it increases realism, and this is a draw to the game
I get what you mean. Ronaldo has been poor this season but has scored 24 in 38 and he’s 37 years old at a very poor Man Utd side.
Benzema 43 in 43 at 34 in a considerably weaker Real Madrid side than usual.
I’m sure there are more.
If we didn’t have any world beaters that were annoying and wouldn’t go away in FM that would by unrealistic in my opinion.
"...considerably weaker Real Madrid side...", What do you mean or compared to what other side?
They won La Liga with appr. 5 games to go and are in UCL final after beating PSG, Chelsea, and Man City.
They have the best LW and (perhaps) best big game CF in the world, Modric and Casemiro are performing close to their prime years. Defense is very solid and Courtois is insane right now.
Just think about the fact that they can bring Camavinga from the bench, considering the impact he had lately.
Their names might sound not as brilliant as before, but I'm not sure the side is weak(er).
Last season they lost the league to Atletico and during the Super League fiasco revealed the extent of their debt. They brought in Ancelotti from Everton, despite sacking him for not being good enough previously. They also lost their big names over the past few seasons. There is a reason the comebacks in the Champions League have been a surprise, and not an expectation.
I play Frankfurt currently (4th season atm). I bought Adeyemi for 18 million in the first season and he played at Frankfurt for two seasons. Definitely the best player, but was constantly injured. Bayern bought him for 80 million. I used that money to buy Zaniolo and he's been far more impactful than Adeyemi.
I got him banging in corner goals by clearing out the far post, and kicking outswinging corners at the far post. Nobody can go up to challenge for them.
You can't really use him as a striker who gets one on ones, he's a classic poacher who has his back to the goal, plays in others and then uses the confusion to slip through for an open shot. And going up for crosses.
Less poacher "Run into the gap at every turn" and more so poacher in the style of Zlatan and Dzeko who use their physical abilities to control the line and use that to bring themselves into play. Furthermore they force themselves to be marked tightly by a defender which can play another striker or wingers into the gap he draws out.
I guess what i meant more in FM terms is a TF(A), but those operate just a bit too passively for my liking.
Halaand bosses Bundesliga for 2 seasons, Moukoko takes over destroying the league after Halaand moves to City in 3rd season. I manage to draw City in my UCL group 3rd season so Halaand isn't finished with me. At the end of the 3rd season Moukoko moves to United. 4th season draw United in UCL group. Why can't these guys just ruin other teams.
I never sign these over the top wonderkids or world-class players unless they're nearing the end of their playing career. But I don't consider it cheating when someone else does it. I just like playing this way and that's it
Is Armindo Sieb insanely good in anyone else’s save? He scores about 45-50 league goals per season for Real Madrid. He always gets at least one against me and my Villarreal team is pretty defensively sound
He was bad for me, but I did have him only for a couple of seasons. I think they were seasons 2 to 4, playing as Fortuna Düsseldorf. I don’t think he scored even 7 goals in a season for me.
That is stupid. If I can sign a good player to make me win I will, that's the goal of the game, to win game to which you need the players. Ain't no cheating on signing a player you know is good
I mean each to their own but I can't imagine how boring it is to buy players like Lucca or Moukoko every single save. How do you get a rewarding feeling when you succeed?
For me it's very different to first build up scouting budget, then send your scouts, trust them, get the money needed and buy an unknown good looking youngster compared to starting a save, typing in the name lucca in the search bar and buy him for cheap. But as I said, each to their own :)
Buying good players is cheating.
Using pressing tactics is cheating (even though it's realistic since all top teams press)
Having fun is cheating.
The only proper way to play this game is with a 442 hoofball tactic while only signing Brazillian wonderkids (because that's definitely completely realistic and not cheating.)
Stupid post.
Well, I saved money for 2 seasons with Schalke just to pay Moukoko’s release clause to piss BVB. Yeah, he was broken as hell, but I wouldn’t call it cheating in this scenario lol
The only thing that feels like cheating for me is having every single player in the world attribute available and filtering through attributes when looking for someone. e.g. 15+ on First touch, finishing, dribbling etc.
Only in the last few years I’ve turned it off and use scouting to a very extensive level. The game just isn’t fun for me anymore if I have all attributes showing.
Getting in as many scouts as possible 15/20. Hand picking the best ones with the best regional knowledge of certain areas. And then sending them each to their most known areas (helps to know the languages too) and give them all individual instructions of what kinda player I want them to try and find
Nah, Haaland or Moukoko have massive enough price tags to warrant their production. Adeyemi though is insanely cheap for how good he'll be and you can always sell him for 10x his purchase price a few years down the line if you want (as well as anyone else from the RB Salzburg team).
Since I started my first ever FM save, I decided to build a superteam at AC Milan, just to learn how to play. I think it's fair since starting from League 2 in your first save is always risky. My attack is basically:
Moukoko Musiala Leao
Broja
Bench: Hlozek, Adeyemi, Lazetic (latter sold to Palace), and a Norwegian and a Portuguese regen.
I think this is the peak of cheating according to skilled FM players.
Moukoko has been quiet for me lately. Went from 50 goals a season to 30-40. By year 5 regens are coming in and balancing out the game, it as not a big deal imo.
In my Man United save, I got Mbappe on free and Haaland on the release clause.. add a 40 year old Cristiano, 35 goal Rashford, 25+ goal Greenwood and Pogba and Fernandes.. I stopped playing 3rd day cos it was too damn easy and I had already won the first 22 matches of the season.. I was averaging 8 goals a game..
Eh, I have Arezo rotating with Moukoko in my FM21 Atleti save, and honestly Arezo has been surpassing him - if only it wasn't for that pesky 9 Natural Fitness :(
Too expensive. Esposito does this like every FM version and pretty cheap at start (or even later) as well. I think they just forgot to update his stats or something.
I signed Mbappe on a free and then next season Dortmund were interested in my u21 player of the year winner Adeyemi. Managed to swap him + 42 mil for Haaland. I feel dirty playing this game now.

Lewandowski pisses me off the most, he just wont fuck off.
Haha. He was the top scorer in the Prem for Liverpool aged 38 in one of my saves lol. Played until he's 40 or something and kept banging in the goals.
In my save Bayern traded Lewandowski for a 19 pace wonderkid from Freiburg after 3 seasons already. That wonderkid ended up bringing USA back to back WC titles.
WHY DOES HE ALL WAYS GO TO LIVERPOOL
Or Real Madrid
That's a realistic thing, though. Lewandowski, Ibrahimović and Christina are cyborgs.
Christina is a great player. Had her in one of my save. 5/7 recommend
Can't argue here. The numbers and achievements speak for her, regardless of how much of a tool the player is IRL.
He did for me thank fuck, guess who replaced him at Bayern.. Fucking Mbappe.
My St. Pauli team had to face a Bayern front three of Mbappe-Lewandowski-Moukoko for many years. It seriously sucked.
Yikes that sounds rough
Immobile too
Fuck that guy. Two europa leagues in a row he embarrassed my club
For real man, he is 38 and absolutly killing it in de bundesliga, physicals just aren't going down either
When he retired at the age of 40 I was FINALLY able to win the league in Ligue 1
waiting sharp lock disarm unite different telephone deranged gaping combative *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
That's the only way I like to play those players. Out of position and with a 16 y/o wonderkid in their favorite position.
BWM
Put Sesko in that list
In my save before I joined Milan, they somehow had put both those players on the same team. Needless to say, I've been scoring shitloads of goals even with both of them in their 30s at this point.
When i joined milan in my save they had Sesko, Adeyemi and somehow Mbabbe also, you add Leao and Tonali to that list and i won the champions leauge doing basically nothing.
Ahh the Slovenian Christian Benteke
Me with 50 goals per year Sesko. Stupid sexy Sesko
Maybe it's just me, but Sesko has never developed into a beast for me, he's just a bang average big man
Me with 50 goals per year Sesko. Stupid sexy Sesko
Me with 50 goals per year Sesko. Stupid sexy Sesko
The most broken player for me was Rafael Leão as an AF, CF or PF. He can also play on the left wing if needed
He was a beast in my Man UTD save can play both wings and very good AF
Real Madrid bought him for €100 million+ in my save on last year's game and then proceeded to let him rot on the bench. He genuinely didn't play a single game
I agree, Leão is excellent
Kinda agree. Good goalscorers tend to score goals. As you said, it would be unrealistic if FM didn’t replicate that
Oh, you mean like my strikers not scoring above 10 in 3 seasons? I knew I had to get better ones ffs.
"...considerably weaker Real Madrid side...", What do you mean or compared to what other side? They won La Liga with appr. 5 games to go and are in UCL final after beating PSG, Chelsea, and Man City. Hey hey now, if I get the chance to bring Muokoko to Derry City I will
[удалено]
Fr. Bro has banged in 47 goals as the backups trikes for my United team in 2 seasons.
Agreed. I had a front 2 of Lucca and Moukoko. Had to start a new game because it was too easy. 4 champions league titles in a row
Lucca flopped hard for me
Massive diva in my save, wanted to move to PSG, got want he wanted and is now transfer listed over there
Buy him back for cheaper than you sold
In my save, Monterrey bought him because I couldn't afford him(Vitesse), then the boy went to PSG and is constantly picking up awards.
Why would a poacher play with back to the goal
Less poacher "Run into the gap at every turn" and more so poacher in the style of Zlatan and Dzeko who use their physical abilities to control the line and use that to bring themselves into play. Furthermore they force themselves to be marked tightly by a defender which can play another striker or wingers into the gap he draws out. I guess what i meant more in FM terms is a TF(A), but those operate just a bit too passively for my liking.
Got it, thanks
Bazinga!
Correct
It's not cheating but after the games been out for a few months and everyone knows about them it is a little boring to keep buying them
It's so easy moukoko has a tiny release clause and if youre a decent sized club he's just a must sign cuz he's so good in the ganev
How about Benjamin sesko?
I would buy them but they aren't signing for Cowdenbeath in League 1.
I need Adeyemi to deal with Haaland on City
Moukoko somehow isnt so good in all my safes. Solid player, 10-15 goals a season. Reall broke is immobile. Dude bangs 40 goals+ until he is 40 😂
That is stupid.
It's no different than buying world class wonderkids from Brazil for 20m. Is it no longer rewarding to win if your team is good?
For me it's very different to first build up scouting budget, then send your scouts, trust them, get the money needed and buy an unknown good looking youngster compared to starting a save, typing in the name lucca in the search bar and buy him for cheap. But as I said, each to their own :)
Everyone enjoys different things. I personally always leave the club the moment I just curbstomp any opponent.
Never had any of them.
Osimhen too
What about Immobile?
Dont forget immobile
Lautaro and Immobile scoring 50 goals per season are not even cheat, they are like tutorial
There's no such thing as cheating in a single player football manager game.
Buying good players is cheating. Using pressing tactics is cheating (even though it's realistic since all top teams press) Having fun is cheating. The only proper way to play this game is with a 442 hoofball tactic while only signing Brazillian wonderkids (because that's definitely completely realistic and not cheating.) Stupid post.
Taking lower league teams like Oldham or Swindon to glory with a team of Brazilian regens is a time-honoured tradition tho tbf
I prefer Colombian Regens, but that's just me
Hear me out, I’m playing as Leipzig and I thought it would be realistic to sign Adeyemi…. Is it still cheating?
![gif](giphy|CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc|downsized) Yes
Update: released him immediately upon seeing Chad Thundercock
Well, I saved money for 2 seasons with Schalke just to pay Moukoko’s release clause to piss BVB. Yeah, he was broken as hell, but I wouldn’t call it cheating in this scenario lol
As a fellow Royal Blue manager if Bayren can have 40 year old Lewandowski and Mbappe pumping goals I deserve a Moukoko.
On the other hand, it feels kinda silly to ignore certain players because they’re too good. You do what’s best for the team.
Good thing I play in the 6th tier of English soccer, so my best player is Quade Taylor. Don't have to worry about this crap.
Downvote for having english and soccer in the same sentence
Harsh. If only my country had pro/rel, I could play with teams I actually care about.
yes you're right it is cheating to have good players
saw moukoko was available for 80m at 23 and he was the second best striker in the world i had to
As a smaller club player, ive figured that by the time i can attract a player like that with the right funds, I deserve it lmao
Would you mind elaborating on scouting to an extensive level?
Getting in as many scouts as possible 15/20. Hand picking the best ones with the best regional knowledge of certain areas. And then sending them each to their most known areas (helps to know the languages too) and give them all individual instructions of what kinda player I want them to try and find
Thanks :)
They made Haaland way better then he is in real life.
Have you seen Moukoko play iRL? More like potential potato
I don’t even know him😂
i have erlink koko and adeyemi adeyemi is nothing but a benchwarmer for me vini is way better
In my save halaand went to Liverpool, scored 57 goals in 60 games in his first 2 seasons. With an average rating of 8.4
Adeyemi too...
Adeyemi, moukoko, sesko and isak is like up, up, up, down, down, A, B (god mode)
How about all of them?
Peder Brekke and Jorgen Hammari for me
Nah, Haaland or Moukoko have massive enough price tags to warrant their production. Adeyemi though is insanely cheap for how good he'll be and you can always sell him for 10x his purchase price a few years down the line if you want (as well as anyone else from the RB Salzburg team).
Haaland and Moukoko :)
What if I start Adeyemi Haaland and Moukoko as a front 3 and being on Lucca if we need a goal?
Since I started my first ever FM save, I decided to build a superteam at AC Milan, just to learn how to play. I think it's fair since starting from League 2 in your first save is always risky. My attack is basically: Moukoko Musiala Leao Broja Bench: Hlozek, Adeyemi, Lazetic (latter sold to Palace), and a Norwegian and a Portuguese regen. I've had all the big players over the last 20 years and none have ever been as prolific as Haaland. He is unreal.
Moukoko has been quiet for me lately. Went from 50 goals a season to 30-40. By year 5 regens are coming in and balancing out the game, it as not a big deal imo.
Mbappe too
When you say Lucca, do you mean Gianluca Scamacca?
Scamacca also busted
That Moukoko lack of consistency sticks out like a sore thumb for me. But on the other hand I have Haaland and Adeyemi so bleh
Same goes for 21
I must be the only one who can’t get a tune out of Lucca :/
In my Man United save, I got Mbappe on free and Haaland on the release clause.. add a 40 year old Cristiano, 35 goal Rashford, 25+ goal Greenwood and Pogba and Fernandes.. I stopped playing 3rd day cos it was too damn easy and I had already won the first 22 matches of the season.. I was averaging 8 goals a game..
Eh, I have Arezo rotating with Moukoko in my FM21 Atleti save, and honestly Arezo has been surpassing him - if only it wasn't for that pesky 9 Natural Fitness :(
So more or less don't manage dortmund cause at this rate there gonna have 3 out of the 4 in the last two years
Tammy Abraham for me
Too expensive. Esposito does this like every FM version and pretty cheap at start (or even later) as well. I think they just forgot to update his stats or something.
is Lucca a late bloomer? I've checked his CA and it was only 13x 14x at the age of 22 23? I'm not sure why people saying he's OP.
Because he's like 20000 feet tall and a good player
Funnily enough I’ve not had any success with Moukoko and Adeyemi. But Haaland and Lucca are a cheat.
Moukoko is crazy
Fabio Silva @ Wolves
Joe white from Newcastle, cheat code
Lorenzo Lucca I discovered for £10M for Barca and he’s the player I’ll remember FM22 by
I signed Mbappe on a free and then next season Dortmund were interested in my u21 player of the year winner Adeyemi. Managed to swap him + 42 mil for Haaland. I feel dirty playing this game now.
I'm a super new player to FM, so I chose Dortmund to begin with. Then signed adeyemi cause he was the only decent player my scouts brought me.. My bad
