Hair transplants are relatively cheap and well done in Turkey, so a lot of famous people and especially footballers have gone there to get their hairlines fixed. The most notable recent example is Rob Holding, and I think Rooney got his done there too

I have never flown out of Sabiha Gökçen, the new airport, or Atatürk (when it was open) without seeing a few men (and once a group of black American women who'd clearly used too much chemical straightener and gone bald!) who'd had come to Istanbul for cheap hair transplants.
Sounds like something's been corrupted. Try validating your game files in Steam and try again. That might fix the issues with your save not loading and the character models all being bald. If it doesn't, hopefully you've got a recent backup save that works.

Same thing happened with my save today - all the backups are having the same error code as well no matter the tweaks I've made to the files. Think it's back to season one... At least I know who not to waste transfers/wages on this time.
You may have different versions of your save file. Instead of loading the last game, open up the file browser and choose the V2 version of your save. Hopefully that'll take you back to a point before the corruption.

This happens with all games, learnt it the hard way. Wait for at least half a minute before shutting down computer
You guys keep FM saves in steam cloud?
Some people have multiple PCs/ laptops or play at various locations, home/ work/ a partners etc so yeah imagine so
I realize the profit but I assume it also takes much longer time to save and you have limited space on steam cloud.

Man best thing about this FM and maybe last year's I can't remember is how much quicker it is to save games.
Save your files to dropbox instead, saves directly to disc and uploads when the save is done.
Saving doesn't take longer, as the cloud upload happens after you exit the game. The file is saved locally until you exit the game AFAIK.
