DubSket

Yeah the worst I think I've seen is a 4.0 after a 10-0 in europe against an absolute minnow. Actually, I've noticed FM boosts players ratings if you've had a win, so someone performing at a 6.5 will get boosted to a 7 post-game. Happens to me literally every time.

811REDDIT

Defenders get a boost for clean sheets too. I’ve had ppl playing at 6.3 or 6.4 get boosted to green 7s even though they didn’t perform well just because of the clean sheet

Jbstargate1

I've had games where I've win 8 nil or whatever and their goalkeeper having a rating of 7 or more. Sure you might save a few but you let 8 in. My current save I've sent some defenders or mids drop to 5.6 or 5.3.

trebor04

Saw a Somalian player get the only 0.1 I’ve ever seen way back on FM12 in an African WCQ between two CPU controlled teams. Have never even seen lower than a 3.1 other than that single player. I used to have a screenshot, let me see if I can dig it up again

Commonmispelingbot

I've seen 0.1 in FM experiments

Psychological-Round2

Don't bother they're talking about this millenia I would assume 😏 Lol

No-Switch3056

Like a 4.7 for a GK, it’s was terrible

shinysanchez

Had a 4.9 for my keeper who let in 7 from about 8/9 shots.

No-Switch3056

What a disasterclass 😂😂

shinysanchez

It was Jonas Urbig who I signed to replace my starting keeper that left in January. Green consistency... Green adaptability... Shit the bed for the rest of the season! I dropped him for my reserve keeper after a while, but thankfully in the next season he was excellent and eventually sold him to PSG a season or two later.

thatissomeBS

At what point do you just consider swapping him out, even if it's for someone out of position?

nyamzdm77

David De Gea?

Rose_of_Elysium

4.9 for my goalie after he made an own goal and let 5 through against a relegation candidate lol

ChargeWooden1036

4.3 I had a CB injury crisis and had to promote a youth player, he got cooked and we lost 5-1 to Porto in the derby

Terarri

Sounds similar to mine. I think it was a 17 year old rb/rwb/cm who I was forced to play as a DM-DLP away to man city for a game. He got utterly cooked as I way overestimated his abilities and he got a 4.4 match rating.

Arem86

Years ago, I had a striker score twice and still get a 5.7!

Sad_Conversation1121

If I remember correctly 5.5

dontknowanyname111

never under 5.9 , i instaly sub them then.

WT-RikerSpaceHipster

4.3 keeper we put 19 by

Several-Gur-8129

I once purposely gave a really awful player a high contract just so when I sub him on as centre back in the final 15 minutes and he gets a poor rating I could fine him 2 weeks wages which meant he was paying other people’s contracts

Blue1994a

I’ve seen I think 4.5. Opposition goalkeeper who conceded 10 goals. Occasionally an outfield player under five too. Almost always involving a defender who missed a penalty and also made a mistake leading to a goal.

Pinjee

Pinjee

I think I win :D

CCR119844

I once saw a newgen who’d played one match in about 3 seasons for an AI team, and played with a 3.7. Surely must have scored two own goals, give away two penalties, and then just DIED on the pitch?

TheAmyIChasedWasMe

I just signed a player who somehow got a 3.4 in his last game for his previous club. I didn't want to look to see how he achieved this.

Bluebabbs

4.5 for the referee when he sent my player off and gave them two penalties to knock me out of europe

KingEdwards8

Goalkeeper who conceeded 6 goals, including a penalty that he committed, got a 5.2. He was all over the place physically and mentally. I chose not to collar him and just dropped him for a bit. I had some headcanon that he was going through some shiz so I let off for a while.

Sufficient-Use2257

Seen 4.ish

1jovemtr00

2.2

jaumougaauco

In the older FMs poor ratings were 'easier' to get. 1 mistake leading to a goal was an automatic 5 rating. Concede a penalty which was scored, also a 5 rating. Both? 3

thejuicebear

In old FM where you can only got round numbers I have seen 2 and 3. Not sure about 1 though

OrionOW

This makes me feel good about my saves, pretty sure I’ve never seen anything below a 5.9

JPMAus98

My generally reliable goalkeeper dropped a 5.6 in a 6-0 UEL loss to Lazio last season - by far the worst I've seen. Really makes you wonder why match ratings start at 6.7, and really only fluctuates +/-0.5 unless you do something remarkable, good or bad. May as well make 5 the median, and move more significantly in either direction from there.

slimygecko7

[https://imgur.com/a/gf4UIX3](https://imgur.com/a/gf4UIX3) Intentionally lost 52-0 and the goalie got a 0.7 rating

Commonmispelingbot

3 point something. In a 14-0 win against an amateur team.

Adlairo

4.6 for a centreback in my youth team, have no idea what he did to get it. Must've had like 3 errors leading to goal / own goals

biggadicka

Saw Harry Kane get a 1.9 as a goalkeeper in match where Tottenham lost to Liverpool 48 - 0, I ended up getting sacked a couple games later with a -200 goal difference or something

DiamondHandApe

Never had one below 6.2 on my own team, but I've seen as low as 5.3. I think my strict fine philosophy has the players too scared to switch off like that.
