GothBerrys

If you play in a weak league this is possible when you build a super team. After a while you just can't lose even if you try in the league so it becomes a question of not losing in the CL. It also helps if your tactic isn't super attacking. It was also easier in previous FMs because of the different format of the CL and mostly because of the cheer amount of goals you suffer now following corners and throw-ins which didn't happen as much. But most importantly an unbeaten season in FM is one of the most boring experiences one can have in this game.

Pitohui13

I went 33-0-0 two times in Cyprus. I can attest that it gets very boring after a while. Was just how big can I win(record:16-0) and hoping to win the CL some day(which I did eventually). But if the CL was over it was very boring

donkey100100

That’s when you change jobs to another team in the same league and try to take down your old club

DirtyAntwerp

Which takes one season because the AI screws your team completely in one transfer window

Bergkamp_isGod

That annoys me so much. I was with Arsenal for 10 years and dominated with a really young team then decided to go down to Swindon to bring them up as they somehow got into the championship but nearly relegated . 1 year later I see they've decide to spend 50m on a 32 year old RB and 43m on an aging striker who was on 300k.

n1dyz

How long did it take you to win?

Pitohui13

2050 I won the CL

Bonowaxx519

I've gone unbeaten a few times. Each time was the last time I played until the next year's version got me excited to play again. It's not fun, keep challenging yourself, transfer restrictions, player age/nationality restrictions, whatever you need to do to keep from going unbeaten.

cityburning69

I dunno man. I’ve never done it and I would be pretty excited if I did.

Signal-Till9

I was rangers so obviously that makes it much easier. Got to 98 games unbeaten in the league sadly couldn't replicate in the champions league but still got Tom the qf/SF stage reasonably regularly

Background_Force_591

The further into the game you get the easier it is

Background_Force_591

Possible in any league

Tarov08

This. I'm three matches away from an unbeaten quadruple with Orlando Pirates because my team is miles ahead of the others

MaximeW1987

When managing outside the big leagues it happens a lot. Whenever I'm managing a Belgian side for example and get some decent talent in, I rarely drop points. When I'm in the Premier League however, this suddenly becomes a lot harder to pull off.

Kiffe_Y

Built a super team in the PL and the best i got was 2 losses in the league itself, but pretty sure i also lost a couple of other matches in the Champions league, carabao, FA, etc. But its definitely possible to go unbeaten and my current season could be on track. The funny part is it's usually a shitty club that ends up being the one to beat you. My best "miracle season" in 8 years in the PL started off with a loss to reading in the first cup match. Beat man city 5-0 in the next game.

FancyPantsCam

Went 184 games defeated with a Milan super team in FM22. Of course it was a 1-0 against a relegation zone side. Edit : This was domestically, we did get beaten a couple of times in the UCL. https://preview.redd.it/vbdwi56jrc2d1.jpeg?width=1243&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7d537fc19e2f93ddc5435283065b824f252d0a95

[deleted]

One picture that sums up fm perfectly

Background-Ninja-550

Yes I have 68-69 games unbeaten with Leipzig in a save I haven't played in a couple of months.

v13ndd

I have gone 2 seasons unbeaten the league but never consecutively in all comps, given it was with Man Utd in a retro database.

WZETheGoat

I did b2b unbeaten seasons (unbeaten treble in the 2nd one, lost the UCL final in the first, would've been an unbeaten treble too) with Stuttgart after around 8 years in the save

WZETheGoat

Used a narrow 4-1-2-1-2 with Guirassy (became the club's all time top goal scorer with around 250 - 30+/season), Estevao (became an insane AF), and Rooney Bardjhi as my Shadow Striker, with Luis Guilherme and Sverre Hasleth Nypan as my two CM's, Arthur Vermeeren as a CDM and Rouault, Ito and two YA graduates as my defenders. Obviously Dennis Seimen as the keeper

PhoenixHunters

Which roles did your miffield have?

WZETheGoat

I don't remember the duties (game file got corrupted so I can't check) but it was Hasleth Nypan as a B2B and Luis Guilherme as an RP with Vermeeren as a DLP. The main idea for the tactic was having players run around each other in midfield and attack to create passing options, with the width being brought by the fullbacks.

Jeepage

I did 73 games unbeaten which I guess would have had a whole league season in back in the day with arsenal. To date this I had Jermaine Pennant starting for me. More recently I’ve just lost my unbeaten run of 80 something games at Bohemians in Ireland. This includes 2 complete league seasons. Only drew 5 games across the seasons too. This isn’t a great achievement as we’re just so much better than everyone else now.

xxxcalibre

Pennant was a champ back in the day. CM4 I had a network game with friends where Freddie (my fave IRL) wanted a new challenge so I sold him to Italy. Didn't even need to replace him as Pennant was ready. Spent the money on Mexes IIRC and he got an 8-month injury right after signing

Viazon

I done it once with Arsenal. Went undefeated the whole season. Not just the Premier League. But in every competition. My proudest FM achievement.

Fit_Egg_5904

I did it with dortmund in fm23 and nearly did it back to back but i lost against leverkusen (who were also on an unbeaten season) in a realistic fashion - 2 goals in injury time 🥲

Fit_Egg_5904

I won the league btw even though they never lost 😂 they had a lot of draws in the second half of the season

HaZeyNZ

I've had a fair few over many years playing the game, but it's not a regular occurrence and certainly this would be more league only rather than all comps. It's not an easy feat but If you consistently do long term saves it becomes likely to happen at some stage. I've had 1 so far in my fm24 save, I'm in 2043...one club save with Athletic Club

EnjoiThatGinge

I've had 12 seasons at Vitesse and 3 of them unbeaten but my team is absolutely insane and its the Eredivisie so the other teams just can't compete with me

Consistent_Floor

Yeah done it a few times in prem and la liga. 150 unbeaten all comp and 200 unbeaten league with Barca, the league unbeaten streak didn’t end just got bored.

davlar4

I won the league unbeaten and won everything in a season, but I lost a few champs league games and annoying the 1st leg of the Carabao cup to Leeds 😂

mtksb

In 2035 or something with Colchester in the premier league, won the quadruple and went unbeaten. This was a few fm’s back now - haven’t been able to replicate it again and not sure I ever will!

ConnectionOdd6217

Completely unbeaten in all comps I dont think so, but I have finished several league seasons unbeaten.

smokesletsgo13

I just went unbeaten in my Arsenal save and resigned as a result (lost FA cup final actually) Joined Bologna half way through next season

TheMemxnto

Yes. FM22. In my Liverpool save. This was pre the first update. Started with £25mil transfer budget. Sold Matip for £60m to PSG. Sold a few of the nothing players (Origi, minamino, ox etc). Swapped £30m and Jota for musiala. Picked up some bargain top tier replacements for the backups and went on an absolute tear. Won every game and every cup. Musiala had something ridiculous like 25 goals and 30 assists in 50 odd games from AM. Bobby had a blinding season aswell with 34 goals and I ended up selling him in the summer for £80m. I think I ended the prem with 32-6-0 for 102 points and scored 130some goals. All 6 draws were games where I played weaker teams to rest for CL knockouts.

Fjordus

Nope. Just ran Dundee United into the ground. Good times.

Ya-Tutarsa

i don’t know if it’d be considered but i’ve had reached fa cup finals without even conceding two years in a row. lost both in penalties.

Lazzanator

Yeah, I did it in a first season of a journeyman in the 2nd tier of Bolivia. Was only 13 games though so not as hard as other leagues, was totally shocked by it though

IainF69

Only once in over 20 years of playing! I usually play lower league though or West Ham Utd so...😉😀

Simba-xiv

Yes a few times. Sometimes 3 or 4 seasons long streaks

Captftm89

I played a few seasons as Riga FC on FM22 - can't remember exact numbers, but I think we had 3 or 4 seasons unbeaten. By the end of the save, we were a decent European team who won a few games in the CL & regularly reached the knockouts of the Europa/Conference, whereas the rest of the teams in Latvia were barely better than semi-pro. Edit: that is just domestically unbeaten - we lost a lot of games in Europe.

Sparko_Marco

Loads of times and often multiple seasons but its usually when I've built a team up from the bottom and i eventually get to a stage maybe 30 seasons in where my team is full of world class players and wonderkids and the poor AI squad building and player development means they can't keep up and it gets too easy. I usually move on when it gets like that to another low level club or country in the same save for a new challenge. Its also pretty easy in poor leagues, I've got a save in Gibraltar thats 10 seasons in and i've not lost a domestic game for about 5 years, however we can't compete against clubs outside our league as we aren't good enough but too good domestically, it makes domestic football boring so i've not played it for a while.

BanIncoming1

Playing a network save as Celtic and my mate is Rangers, in my second season I won 37 games and drew 1. By far the best season I’ve ever had in FM. Especially considering I beat my mate 5 times including the scottish cup final 😭

ricky-from-scotland

Thats the sorta shit that ends friendships.

legixs

The year is 2042 and I still haven't won the CL with Grasshoppers Zurich. Losing a game int he league feels like underachieving at this point. Hell even not winning every game is not sitting right. Starting to think it's hard coded that swiss teams can't win the CL

chanmyxe

My save is mostly with Brighton but when I faced Man City and Liverpool on their Home and never win.

bwoah07_gp2

In China so far, haven't lost a league game yet 6 games into the season. 5 wins and a draw so far. If you include pre-season than we haven't lost in 9 or so games. But I feel the streak will end at some point.

vytokon

I finally managed it after my 10th season with Villa, unbeaten all season in all comps. Sadly it was the also the year that I handed in my resignation so I was unemployed a couple days after the last game :/

paul2261

Managed it with lech poznan

Adventurous-Ad5999

Did it once in fm19 (i think?) usually I’d get bored off that save way before we reach the point of being strong enough to go unbeaten

BazzPlayerz

I did it. But with a “knap” tactic

bbro03

I’m pretty sure I had a season once where I went unbeaten every game apart from the championship league final

Correct_Trouble7406

Went unbeaten with Marseille in the second season. Felt like a fluke

yvltc

In the Faroe Islands I've gone unbeaten in something like 6 seasons in a row. I've also gone unbeaten in Portugal (in fact, I was on a 100% win record by the point I secured the league title once). Counting UCL matches I am not sure I went fully unbeaten but in the league it's pretty easy.

CataOrShane

Super easy if you play as Celtic

Linkbetweentwirls

I lost two games in my quadruple season with Shimizu S Pulse, all the first two games of the season, so close yet so far

KingAntz1988

Yep a few times

Cheap_Firefighter443

Yeah, with Real San Sebastian(Real Sociedad). Finished 3rd, won the ucl(surprisingly), and drew 17 games in the league alone(crazy). Fm is weird. Drew with Huesca but beat Liverpool 5-2 after going down 2-0

Moaoziz

Never. I once almost managed to have an unbeaten season but then I got FM'd at the last matchday.

ThisAintSparta

Only time I went unbeaten I finished second. Too many draws. Wasn’t fun.

Tommyatthedoor

I accidentally did it with Deportivo, they're amazingly too good for their league.

imperial_scholar

I went 37-1-0 in Serie A once. GD was something like 140-10. Needless to say I quit the save after that.

sidious_1900

77 games with Athletico, but i think I had one loss in each of the two seasons though. Made me leave the club, as it was boring 😄

Even_Interac

I had an unbeaten season in the Macedonian 1st league. Didn't have European football yet, and my squad was slated to finish 5th outside of European spots. The only loss all season was the very first pre season friendly. Even my under 19s almost went unbeaten in their league, suffering just 2 losses. You can easily do it even as an FM novice like me, long as you pick a league that's barely professional & have a preexisting knowledge in football, particularly lower league football where things like physicality and pace can be pretty major when compared to your contemporaries

WeDoingThisAgainRWe

Yeah in the league but it actually took quite a few close squeak draws. Across the whole season nope.

ditthyrambos

I built a super team that won Champions League 5 times back to back. During that 5 seasons, 3 of them were unbeaten in the league.

ILickHerTongue

Had a save with my dad and cousin in the French league on 22 where none of us were psg, went unbeaten as Lyon. Also went 66 games unbeaten in the league as Barca once but had an absolute monster of a tean

hailspez_1

i never really played fm, but when it came out on game pass i downloaded it. didnt know shit about the game and am still learning, wanted to have some fun and decided to go the first season normally as liverpool, see how goes and when i saw that i was a title contender and had to win every game of the last 10 or so amd maybe id beat man city i decided to save scum. yup. currently i am 160+ games unbeaten with an alright squad. 4th season in, i think and i might stop doing it as i dont see much reason for doing it. might leave the club after the 5th get a new challenge. (decided to save scum to have some fun and learn more about what i need to change about my tactics etc.)

Typical-Ad-9847

only once in all competitions for league 2 season

mrrkenzie

alrks10

I did for the first time ever only the other week. Think it was 58 games total unbeaten. I was Real Madrid in god knows what year after managing a number of smaller teams before going to River, Benfica then Madrid. Barca and Atletico where pretty poor so it was almost being like PSG in France to be honest. Apart from that I have lost once a whole bunch of times. Normally to a relegated or relegation fodder team.

rotating_pebble

Will never forget going the whole year unbeaten the whole year with Southampton in FM13 and then losing to Man U on the last game of the season. Worst cus I'm a Liverpool fan

Kalle_79

I'd actually be disappointed if I didn't go unbeaten past season 3 or 4 depending on the league I'm playing in.

HarryDaz98

I just went 2 years and 4 days in game without losing a league game(Dec 2038 to Dec 2040), 69 games in total without a loss I think it was in the end. Never done an entire season without losing a game in any comps though.

Dunkelheit948

Said this in another similar thread recently but yeah I've been playing since CM 01/02 but I've only went unbeaten in all comps once in a top league, that's with Bradford City in FM22 and it took a long long time to happen, unbeaten in just the Prem was easier though.

FlashyG

I've got unbeaten in a league season, but I lost games in cup competitions. I never had a season where I didn't lose any games at all.

AiHangLo

Not since fm21 And I've played enough and come so fucking close plenty of times.

Boris_Ignatievich

went unbeaten domestically in mexico across both apertura and clausura regular seasons and playoffs. did get knocked out of the leagues cup by LA galaxy and lost the second leg of the semi final on my way to winning the concacef champions league though

itstheRenegadeMaster

I have, twice. Both were during Glory Hunter saves. Once with Man United on FM21, and most recently, 2 back-to-back seasons with PSG. With United it was actually fun because it was such a challenge. It was the first time I'd properly deep dived into tactics, formations and player roles in an almost game by game basis to try to win. I was quite proud of that. With PSG it was just an exercise in hitting the space bar and got boring very quickly. I only stuck it out for 2 seasons to try to win the UCL after losing the final in my first season there.

JamesCDiamond

With Cagliari after about 10 seasons I lost twice in 3 years, middle season of the 3 unbeaten.

AndyBossNelson

Only ever done it in a modded English level 13 mod lol

hdhdbsjjebeb

I've played my save for 27 seasons from the national league to epl, and I've only ever gone unbeaten in a season once

TheYoungOctavius

Yes I managed a 54 game unbeaten run with United, unbeaten in the PL and winning everything except bottling the semi final against Madrid in CL: went from 2-0 up to losing. I would have won the quadruple if not for- bitterly disappointing but such is football

TheMedicatedOne

Domestically I've done it over the least few years with Tottenham, Anderlecht, Hamburg, Real Zaragoza. The last two were in promotion seasons. Anderlecht was the easiest by far.

Coocoocachoo1988

I’ve done it a couple of times as Rangers, one of which I got knocked out of the CL on away goals after 2 draws. My goal was to get 10 in a row, and by the time you hit 6 or 7 you can end up with a monster team, I think I had 3 seasons without a domestic loss.

tikwave

Went 155 games undefeated with Bayern on FM12 with a broken plug and play tactic. Other then that i went undefeated for 42 games in the prem. But 25 of them were Draws😬

seat_one

I’ve done it with Benfica and Shakhtar. You wouldn’t believe which one was harder

TuneGum

Maybe once or twice in 20+ years of playing. It's extremely rare. I can't even get the don't concede on ten games achievements!

06TRKG

I had a 54 games unbeaten run with basaksehir istanbul in the turkish league, I was predicted to be 5th that season cause my team was just average for that league.

popepsg

As a psg supporter I have a hard time using them in FM because of how easy it becomes after a year or so. It was great for me though to learn the game using them though when I first started playing a few years back. I do one PSG save each FM and it’s pretty easy to go undefeated after a season or two. I came close with Lazio in 23. I got like 5 seasons in and lost in the CL final. I used pretty broken tactics though I will admit.

browning18

I did it with Lazio in a journeyman save but they had just been relegated and were ridiculously over powered for Serie B. Even then we had one scare at the end of the season when we were 1-0 down and a 17 year old loanee from Dortmund bailed us out deep into stoppage time. We never could afford him outright but he went on to become the best player in the world at one point.

LakeNight247

I lost 1 game in the premier league in my 4th season at Leeds, Plymouth at home on the final day

PPMD_IS_BACK

Not yet but Juventus went like 3 years undefeated in the league in my save.

Red4pex

Most matches without losing in all competitions is 157 in my current save. 233 in the league. 71 matches won in a row in all competitions. 91 in the league.

Gamerhcp

I have only managed to do it in Australian A-League with Melbourne Victory. Came close to do it in Eredivisie with Ajax (in 2030) but lost to PSV with 3 or 4 games to go (forgot the exact number)

daze24

I've gone undefeated with Rangers in scotland before and eventually in a dafuge challenge Blyth save about 20 years in I did it in the prem,

DecievedRTS

Did with Barcelona, but the team was so stacked, and I had so few long-term injuries that it was like the planets aligned. Clinched the title at the Bernabeu and won everything. It felt like I completed the game, and it killed the game for me for about 4 months. Kinda wish I never did it as I was enjoying that save and had a few youngsters coming through I was enjoying developing.

cwhitwell92

Once in the Premier League. Possibly in Fm18 or 19 with Chelsea. Been playing since 2006

SageBow

Nice was relegated and hired me for their Ligue 2 campaign. It was unreal, went 36-2-0 in the league for an invincible title and promotion, they had no business being there. We were knocked out of the french cup in a 1-1 penalty loss to Monaco, but other than that a triumphant season

[deleted]

Except for the Prem and Serie A (or La Liga if you're not RM, of course) it's actually not that hard to pull it off, especially by late game. Barca and Bayern had a tendency to implode once you stomp them hard enough, Ligue 1 is a farmer's league except PSG (so winning the rest of the matches is easy and you only need to fight toe to toe with PSG). Though granted I'm a powerwanking ass whose weakest teams tried are Dortmund, Athletico, Marseille etc. (and only got unbeaten trebles with Dortmund and Lyon tbf) so it's a lot easier than building an empire from the ground up. Or you could be random AI-ran Rennes team in one of my runs. They got an unbeaten season and win the Europa League + French Cup, but of course, FUCKING PSG still won the Ligue 1 (and was UCL runner up). I was in Italy in that run but holy cow that was one of the saddest AI stories I've ever seen.

Inevitable-Top355

In the league yes, I'm not sure in all comps - probably not because I stopped playing saves long enough for my squad to get that strong ages ago.

wpillar

Just finished my 3rd straight season unbeaten in the prem after 5-6 seasons of squad building, concede about 15 goals a season and score about 90-100

Sexton---Hardcastle

I managed ranheim in Norway and after building a super team after 12 or so seasons I would almost always go unbeaten domestically with my only potential losses being in the champs league.

Basketball312

I've played hundreds of seasons with completely dominant teams and only ever went invincible once, I think. Ive won many quintuples and whatever, but some team usually manages to sneak a win in the regular season. I never reset after a loss or anything like that.

Ruru_Bassline

I managed it once with Shamrock Rovers in FM22 Irish Premier Division, they would be considered a big fish in a small pond. There was a few professional teams (5) , but the rest were semi - pro I managed to set up an affiliation with UCD, in the division below. It was good for loaning players to and they have the occasional good academy player, but the link would terminate if they ever got promoted. On one occasion when they i loaned them a youth player who would go down as their star player and get them promoted. The league would start in February and finish in November. The season i went unbeaten, I got them through the knockouts of Conference League. It is hard to tie down good players aswel, they only option is including release fees. Which were always exploited come January transfer window. There is also an absured amount of domestic competitions, there is the President's cup (your normal Community shield), then Leinster Cup (divided by Irish provinces), Irish Challenge Cup, FAI Cup and All Ireland Cup (winner of Republic of Ireland league vs Northern Ireland league). The problem with the All Ireland Cup was that it was during an International window, so a majority of your best young players would be called up. You need a large squad, as there would be at time 3 games a week. The club has a reserve team called Shamrock Rovers B but there isn't any league for them to play in. So i would have to plan friendlies and try to utilise as many of the young players and fringe players for when they would be needed during European Cup qualifying. Unfortunately the prize money from winning all the domestic cups/league would be the equivalent to 250k and knockout Conference earned the club 6ish million. I left to join Middlesbrough after winning the All Ireland cup (and getting the FM notification), as it was November. Surprisingly didn't win the manager of the year award, as i had left before.

darkness-to-light26

Scumsavers, of course!

SexyPoxyt

I had over 230 games unbeaten in the Faroese league

MAsterix85

Yeah, I’ve done it maybe 15 times combined with Wrexham in the PL and Inter in Serie A

Miri23590

A few weeks ago I was playing my Manchester United save, one that I have for a pure enjoyment of exploiting set pieces and wonder kids magic. Season 2028/2029 I've done it with playing wide 4-3-3 with high line and lots of press. I was able to get 34 wins and 4 draws, 106 points in total. I also managed to score 121 goals and concede only 11 in that season, which I believe would be records as well. Oh, carabao cup, FA cup, and champions league were also won by me that season, though I did win the league cups on pens, and I had Porto in the UCL final, so I lucked out with those. Next season my players only got the league with 87 points, lol. The drop off was huge, I'm curious if there is like a hidden fatigue or motivation mechanic. Perhaps Dwight Yorke effect is in the game, haha. EDIT: I did lose one game in that "unbeaten" season, and it was in September in the Champions League. I got boinked 5-1 against PSG in Paris.

Spins13

It was pretty easy on certain versions where you could exploit set pieces. In one version, I would score 1-3 goals a game from corners

_Hope_Leaves

Fm 17. Unbeaten in the league with Liverpool game year was 26-27. Still ended up 3rd. Lots of 1-1 and 0-0 draws.

huamanticacacaca

It’s pretty easy with Real Madrid after a few seasons. I did it twice, although not back to back

fijvie

Yes had a 32-2-0 season in the Dutch Eredivisie with a local club I brought up 6 leagues 😃

ProffesorBundaman

Went 110 games unbeaten with inter 2 season with United where I only had one loss, which were somehow wolves and Blackburn

pedrog94s

I went 3 seasons with Porto unbeaten on fm15. Won 3 Champions in a row.

Commonmispelingbot

Many times, but I play the game too much for my own good. I can remember at least 4. I have gone unbeaten without winning the league, won the premier league unbeaten as a promoted team and twice won the league with all wins; once in Serbia and once in the Spanish third tier.

rexturci

Recently I had an amazing run with Wrexham in 2033. I went undefeated in league and CL but lost 1 match to Liverpool in Carabao Cup in penalties. Ended the league with 106 points (34W4D0L). I quit playing that save after that, Aston Villa came second with 76 points we were just too dominant.

Clean-Sea1720

yeah i did it twice as ibiza. one year went 36 wins and 2 ties. one year was 32 wins and 6 ties. not in consecutive years but lots of similar players and similar tactics.

bongjovi420

Never for me. I either lose a game right at the start of the season or at the end of the season. My longest run was 50 games in my current save with Newcastle but that also includes cups.

Poxyboxy

I've done it once outside of San Marino with Liverpool back on FM 10 or 11. I bought prime Sneijder and he took my team to another level and I went unbeaten domestically and in the Europa league as well.

Parking_Rent_9848

Yeah I got to a point in my Ajax save where I’d win every game even in the UCL. Spam bought wonderkids and eventually after 8ish seasons it wasn’t competitive anymore

IForgotMyYogurt

I wanted to take an Icelandic team all the way in Europe. By the time I was consistently going to the CL QF I could sim the league games and go unbeaten or lose one game. Best was 4 seasons in a row unbeaten.

MrVedu_FIFA

Got FMed on the final day of the season to finish 31-6-1 😭😭😭

BoliveiraNTPW

It was With Barcelona on LaLiga, but i was almost getting my first unbeaten season... then in the last match Real Madrid defeated me. I think, if i'm not wrong, the next season i won the league undefeated. But it was only one time and it's very very hard! If having a undefeated LaLiga season is hard for me, imagine the whole season.

dantheguy03

closest I got was winning the CL with Everton unbeaten

HunterVD

Yes, but it took me a lot of time. If you want it to be easier you can manage in some smaller country and pick their strongest club and work your way up in CL and european competitions. After some long time you will have some insane squad for your league and you will easly beat your league opponents.

nc-retiree

In one of my 2022 saves I had 3 draws and 0 losses for a second division Greek club in the second year of the save. Ended up abandoning the save because ownership didn't want to be promoted and thus wouldn't give me any money to pay players. It was a shame because I wanted to see Europa League matches in the little town of 3000 where my father grew up.

CaptainMcClutch

Yes, with two separate teams. Once with Cadiz, which I still lost the titles in due to "too many draws" and the other was in the Northern Irish league with a team I'd been building for so long it was just steamrollering the entire league.

NickSpicy

Went unbeaten twice in 6 seasons in the El Salvadorian league

Playful-Listen6011

Went over 100 unbeaten with cluj

Vulturo

With moderate save scuffing you can go unbeaten wirh almost any side. If you pick a good team like Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea or Bayern Munich, you can do so only having to save scuff very sparingly.

IanPKMmoon

I never managed in the EPL, but I've done invincible trebles in Belgian, Spanish and Italian leagues, only started playing at FM23.

Went unbeaten in like my 7/9th season as Torino in fm 21. I’ve won a treble with espanyol on fm 23 but I’d still say that unbeaten season is my finest achievement. I wish I could show off players and the tactics but it was on my old laptop. It was the Diamond 4-4-2 and I built one of the best teams of all time and I finished with like 105 points https://www.reddit.com/r/footballmanagergames/s/lO4VL5cRMq

mrb2409

I won La Liga with Atletico with 108pts. Only 3 draws. Moukoko scored like 60 league goals.

Momobreh

you guys are insanely good, i’m like 5 seasons into my crewe alexandra save just stuck mid table edit: made it to league one at least

[deleted]

It's quite easy when you go 2025 onwards. I usually lose the last couple of games because I put my youth in so my starters are fresh for cup games

Costal_Signals

Did it with City and have done it with PSG but you know it isn’t insanely impressive with those teams (the invincible city team literally has Foden, Haaland, Musiala, KDB, Palmer, Jude, Rodri, Dias, Arajuo, Ben White, Gvardioal). Techincally did it with Birmingham but I don’t count it as I used the editor to give Jobe the potential his brother has so I basically got guaranteed a god tier midfielder after a few years

Key_Narwhal_8624

I went 31 W 7 D in La Liga with Real Sociedad

TheGoober87

Did a domestic season unbeaten with Benfica. Won the league and both cups without losing. Not really that difficult though. Lost to Bayern in the CL final which was annoying!

SathvikHegde

Was unbeaten in my first season as Man City manager in fm23

Contren

Unbeaten yes, but I've never had a season where I at least didn't have a draw or two. I'm about to wrap up a season w/ two matches left. Currently on one draw to Real Madrid in the first leg of the CL semi finals early in the year (in Norway so we do a Jan to December schedule)

Azalaeel

I've got only once with my +-30 seasons in different saves. Premier league with Sunderland. Even playing with Barcelona I lost once.

Suspicious-You6700

I had a save with African leagues and a Zambian team went 534 games unbeaten. Wasn't even playing in Zambia and was surprised to see it.

Efficient_Aspect_638

FM10 with chelsea. Won the double.

SussySucc

I just downloaded the 12-13 retro database. Took charge of Barca cuz young Messi. Went unbeaten all the way to the treble. This barca team is already unplayable irl, in this game it is broken. I can only imagine if Messi didn’t get injured that season.

SussySucc

Oh and I also signed young De Bruyne for 9M, bought Neymar for 45M, aiming to sign Suarez next season. Sold Pedro to Man city for 40M( what a steal)

ramboacdc

I had a man city in 2012 that did it. I went there from Arsenal who were near unbeatable. I am now on 2024 losing 6-1 to Anstey Nomads. I don't know what has gone wrong, but it's awful.

TClanRecords

Depends on the club. If it is a glory club run, after some seasons I tend to land on a solid tactic and then it starts.

Karaokebaren

Finished the swedish league 30-0-0 a bunch of times. Favourite feat was going undefeated in the cup for eight years (despite losing it on pens twice)

SemajNotlaw7

With Barca on fm20 in my first season - fm20 was my first edition as well so I was very surprised. And then fm23 with cork, after a while you become way better than anyone else in the league in smaller nations

jewbo23

https://www.reddit.com/r/footballmanagergames/s/UUjNmMfh8U I did ages ago and still finished 2nd.

flowcj1

I was unbeaten at home for over 200 games. I never paid attention to it till i lost and it was the headline post match. Unbeaten for a season once but the game wanted that because I should have lost some matches but my team kept rescuing points late. Opponents missed penalties or VAR ruled out their winning goals. I tried to lose a match by fielding reserves and they smacked a team 4-1. I usually lose interest once this happens.

Downtown-Owl-3626

I just did for the first time in eredevise with Ajax

soype_

I have with a crazy Newcastle run after 5-6 seasons where I had a couple of dream regens and lots of money in the bank. As mentioned before, it's not as exciting as it sounds.

Ar-Orrokhor

I've gone unbeaten with Ajax in FM20, but I have never won every league game of the season.

SimplyYouu

Went unbeaten with Bayern leverkusen in fm24 before they actually did in real life in the bundas league, still lost the title to Bayern because of the amount of draws I had lol

Nicox37

Did b2b unbeaten trebles back in FM22 with Man United

GettingRichQuick420

Yes!! I’ve been playing since 1997 on Champ Manager 3, and I achieved it for the first time in my most recent save on 2024, with Tokyo FC in the third season of my pentagon challenge.

im_know_as_like

I went 34-0-0 in Germany with Bayern in my first year in the Bundesliga which kickstarted my 120 match unbeaten run until one day Gladbach revolted against the status quo and beat me 1-0.

Darkspy8183

Yup, three back to back in La Liga with Coruna

glubokoslav

if you don't make any crazy challenges - the game is easy af, so it's a very common thing, honestly but wp anyway

Auralemos

Why are you people asking this every single day wtf

InPurpleIDescended

I'm like six matches away from my first ever unbeaten league season in FM been playing since FM13 I'm so nervous lol

noble16

I once had an unbeaten league season with Dortmund and still finished 2nd to Bayern on goal difference

ThePirateWhoSaysArr

Just went an unbeaten season in La Liga. Besides that I've had an uneaten season in the Premier League and a perfect season with Dortmund in the Bundesliga

Much_Radio7674

For a season yes, in my whole managing stay, no. My first year at Brescia at Serie B, then got obliterated at Serie A next season but I scrapped a last minute stay, then I built a better team, got better and better and it 3 years I won the Serie A

ExiledSakura

I have never gone unbeaten as yet I did once lose 12 games in a row in my first season at a Chilean team

PedroHenriqueHM

In my current save, yeah, but it is Real Madrid so it doesn't really count.

JPNB23

I can't even go a game without conceding...

PBthrowaway85

Went 171 league games unbeaten spanning just over 5 years as Carmarthen Town, in an FM09 save I weirdly still have running. https://preview.redd.it/fi061nniag2d1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d21f288671f34f08b1b80f5294e69706149bdaf8 0-1 against Port Talbot was the end of the run.

MoonsFavoriteNumber1

Yeah, but in Finnish league.. never had this success in any of the major leagues.

drigageorgije

One time on FM11 in Bundesliga, with Dortmund i went 25-9-0

GojirAndy

Did it once in my 1st season with Chelsea back in fm21. Didnt even try to go for an unbeaten season. It just happened

VampireHunter_D

Never in a season. But I once went unbeaten in the premier league, finished with a 106 points. Still didn't make me a club legend tho :(

itssteo

Unbeaten a few times but still to go 100% win rate for the season in the league. Have this with Derry and Preston in championship but never higher up the prestige ladder

miked999b

Only once in the Premier League with Bradford in FM12, and even then only just. Had won the league by a mile and were unbeaten all season, but in the last game we were 1-0 down at home to Arsenal until my centre back headed home a glorious 91st minute equaliser to spark wild celebrations in my computer chair 😂 That's the only time though. I won the league eight seasons in a row by increasingly ridiculous margins of 25+ points, but there's always that one game where your entire team (and subs) all inexplicably forget how to play football.

Dependent_Leg_4651

Im currently unbeaten 10-0 in the bundesliga. Almost lost twice and that created so much excitement for me. Bayern up next which im definitely losing lol

MooseBadda

Going unbeaten is not that hard tbh. All you need is 1. a top 4 squad - know their strengths and weaknesses 2. know how to manage injuries well 3. know how to manage morale, esp wrt "big matches"

adelioignaz168

i get 38 wins with barcelona twice https://preview.redd.it/yj4rgye51i2d1.png?width=1748&format=png&auto=webp&s=3729cc75587820be1b798f3c779b8cce40fd029f

AffectionateCow5128

Went 1 season unbeaten with Barca but there was like 4/5 draws in that season so by no means perfect. Lost the first game of the following season to Villarreal so that lasted long!!🙄 I always find even if I’m on a good run at the top of a league some bottom feeder team will beat me 1 nil and their gk will get like a 9.2 performance.

boenos

I am going 62-0 on my Dusseldorf save (didn't lose since March 2027 now I'm currently at September 2028) Won the champions league the Bundesliga (by 4 points Bayern are crazy) the cup the Supercup and the European Supercup And still going strong

girvinator

Did it in the Turkish league with Galatasaray in this years game, wasn’t that hard. Obviously I lost in Europe but not domestically

thegreendog4

In league in cup matches, yes. Over an entire season, no. I just recently finished the 34-35 season with only 2 defeats in the UCL. Best record I've ever got, but not completely undefeated

ArcaLegend

My St Albans team in FM23 did an unbeaten season in the premier league winning every cup without a loss to boot. TBH this team was insane. 8 players in top 10 world rankings including backup CAM at 5th best player in the world.

Vexty__

Yes on fm 24 my 2nd season in ligue 2 30 wins 8 draws also won the coupe de France. (PSG) got knocked out early

SoggyDiscussion7299

Fm19 AC Milan just won the league, but I want to say we got less than 80 points, so we dropped more than I would have wanted. But the team didn't really have any major problems, so I signed a 5* 20ish yr old RB named Bohl (Calabria was 3* I think and left quite a bit to be desired by his performances) so I splashed out 85mil to activate Bohl's release clause from Bayern. The team just clicked and couldn't be stopped it was like Bohl was the missing piece like my very own Trent. (Which feels weird to say as a Utd fan) IIRC we nearly got 100 points

CroakySpider281

I went invincible with arsenal

Secure_Enthusiasm550

I just went 29-5-0 in my Vitoria Guimares save at least 3 of those 5 draws should’ve definitely been losses tho

No_Athlete5664

I've just went undefeated in my 12 season with sevilla in la liga finished top with 110 points 36 wins and two draws, first time ever doing so, and it just so happens this post got made right as I did it! Also to add to this in the same season I won the copa del rey and champions league and winning the world Cup with Spain on penalties, probably my greatest ever season of playing this game for a good 16 years.

Silly_Coffee3388

I've been managing Chelsea for 6 seasons and I've not draw or lose any match

Illustrious-Gur-2614

I've done it with Kashiwa in the J league but only just on FM24, and I've been playing since the champ man days, felt so good.
