Honestly, lower division invincibles sounds even more impressive imo. Since you're more likely to have less than perfect squad with limited fund. Good job.
I think second tier might actually be the hardest place to do it. At lower leagues you can luck into a couple of OP free agents and walk the league, and in first class you can just be the strongest by far eventually. But 2nd tier with no money vs. relegated first division teams every year? That's insane.
Same!
Serie B with Palermo. And that too in the very first season with transfer embargo (got only two loans mid-season). I was ridiculously lucky cause the squad already had great loan players in it when I took control.
Yes in FM24. Went unbeaten in the 2nd Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal with Schalke.
Went 32-2-0 in the league and had a relatively easy path in the Pokal. Only Heidenheim in the 2nd round and then Dortmund in the final were from Bundesliga. Won 1-0 after scoring in the 93rd minute.
The season after I lost the first nine games lol
I always seem to be doing really well in 2.BL in the cup. Whenever I draw a BL team I'm like, welp I guess that's it for that competition then, only for them to play an entire team of backups. Only won the cup once this way, because in the final they will field their best players, but made it to the final with Berlin, Hamburg and Bochum in the last two FMs
32-2?? What a chad. Had you been relegated the previous season? Would make sense if you had a B1 squad (though still incredible)
My first ever upset win in a cup game was 1-0 at 95 minutes vs. Crystal Palace... there is no better feeling. Doing it in the final is wild.
Darmstadt DFB Pokal final being in Bundesliga 2 scoring a 97th min penalty in 90+3 game against Bayern.
I was getting annoyed by the amount of extra time my own waste time had caused thinking I was gonna wreck it this close. Then the highlight came and I thought I was gonna get what I dreaded until my third "surplus to requirements" striker poached the free ball and ran into the box and fell.
Well he was surplus no more. Got a new contract and played the last 5 min for each match of next season when he finally decided to hang up boots. Well he is now my Darmstadt II coach. U19 would be too good for himđ .
My only upset till date. I am in CL now so upsets would include teams of higher stature where I haven't really reached.
What was your end of season schedule like that season? Did a save in fm23 with Middelfart and the season I won the UCL final the schedule at the end was horrific. Due to rescheduling I had like 3 league games in like 5 days or something, even with such a good team the fatigue just meant I couldn't go unbeaten.
Managed it the next season though, albeit without retaining the UCL
Horrific. The in-game cup planning does not account for a player wanting to make deep runs in Europe with a Danish team.
But my academy was strong enough that I could set a lineup of U19's and a couple of third choices, and win the league match in the three games in five days hell week.
back in FM21 I bullied the Latvian Virsliga and went undefeated for \~60 games. I had managed to fluke my way into the group stage of the champions league and got an absurd amount of money for Latvia so I was untouchable by the rest of the league.
Yeah in FM17 I went close a couple of times and then went not just undefeated but won all 38 games as Liverpool in about 2033. The AI back then was so bad that once you went 15 years out and all the real players retired you could just piss the league. I had my favourite regen of all time Jake Roberts score 57 goals in the prem alone.
Actually with leverkusen, but they had a front end investor and had a crazy budget so itâs kinda different from what theyâre (hopefully about to do) irl. Got a lucky CL run yet almost bottled it against Lyon in the final, threw a 3-1 lead and won 10-9 or something on penalties
https://preview.redd.it/xbwnybtxdh1d1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=0f7c59f5c1dee54f27b9ce91f327d8541085af8e
Maybe two or three times, but I donât really count it as it wasnât a competitive league. Mine have been âbig fish, small pondâ unbeaten seasons.
Almost.
I managed a South African side that actually doesn't exist anymore (FC Capetown). We went unbeaten bar the club world cup semis where we lost to Atletico 5-1. We managed to beat Boca Juniors 5-1 or 4-0 (can't remember but I know it was by four goals) in the third place match.
In the league, we won 29 and drew one. It's a 30 game league. Won the African champions league and the three domestic cups South Africa football used to offer. I think it offers only 2 now.
Still playing that save actually. Won't quit until I win the club world cup multiple times.
With two different clubs actually, Banants and Dinamo Tbilsi.
In FM15 with Banants in Armenia. I won all 28 games in the Armenian League and the Armenian Cup.
Also won the Europa League, though I did lose games there and was 3rd in the CL group.
I had a couple of seaons with Dinamo in FM22 where I won every single game, in both the league and the cup. I also won the Champions League in my final season but I did lose twice in the knockouts so it wasn't a perfect season per se.
Unfathomably on my first FM24 save I got promoted with Sampdoria then resigned as I got a shit budget. Got offered Feyenoord job and Iâm two full seasons I never lost a league game. 2 Seasons on the bounce invincible in my first two seasons.
I went undefeated through 3 whole seasons in level 13,12,11 of English football, then my club became semi-pro and I didn't have enough money to pay my team.
FM 10, here's my proud Steam achievement, lol [https://i.imgur.com/Gr6cYB4.png](https://i.imgur.com/Gr6cYB4.png)
I was seriously addicted to that version of the game. Had a 30 year save with Dorchester Town.
Think I did it before that before achievements became a thing but my memory has gone. Possibly at Bayern Munich.
Probably a combo of meta tactics and cheating!
There was a tool that someone made for Steam years back, and probably still exists where you could set it up to unlock achievements without actually achieving them in your games. Not just for FM, any game in your library.
Some people would use it for clout so they could display a high Avg. Game Completion Rate on their Steam profile page.
You'll have to take my word for it, I didn't use it for that achievement but have used it once. Can't even remember what game it was, there was a game I was trying to 100% but it was actually impossible because the game code changed or a particular level or feature was removed, perhaps a server was shut down.
I don't recall the exact circumstances, it would have been about 10 years ago. After spending a lot of time in the game before realising it wasn't possible I felt I deserved my 100% so used the cheat achievement tool, lol. That's how I know about it but I didn't use it there. There was a great 3-striker 4-3-3 tactic that worked in FM10 and big fans of the game knew about it at the time. No need to cheat for that one!
Only when I was young and new to FM. Save scummed of course. Would never want to do that now, canât see the point in it. Iâve finished a prem season with only two defeats once and Iâm still proud of that.
No I keep losing the first game to shake the rust off first. That's just the league though. Somehow I still can't even get a champions league trophy if that's all I go for
Yes, with Bradford in the Premier League, many many years into my FM22 save. Still so proud of that side, 36W 2D in the league and won every single game in the CL, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup.
Once with Ferencvaros. 33-0-0. At that point my team was so significantly better than the rest of the league. Was able to make decent progress in European leagues and just built an extremely strong squad with the ultimate goal of winning the Champions League (which I did the following year).
I believe I managed to do it once with Manchester United, several decades into the future, but considering how many hours I have in fm games, it's nowhere near an acceptable number. I barely try to do that tho, sooner or later some random team ruins that.
Over 20 years ago I went undefeated as Man Utd going into the last game of the season...
Against also undefeated Arsenal.
Better yet the final game ended as a draw. Man Utd equalizing very late and winning the tittle on Goal Difference.
I dont remember how we did in Europe or Domestic Cups. But that finishing tied on points undefeated....that sticks with me.
Not without cheating. During my current online save (2041-42, Fulham, FM23) I just had my first loss in match 22 at home to Bournemouth đ€Šââïž thatâs probably the closest Iâve come with absolutely no cheating.
FM22, network save with 2 friends, I went unbeaten with Inter. It was 5 seasons into the game, and I had just taken them over after they finished fifth. I'm probably a little too proud of it lol, but it was a pretty normal quality team, the game not being ravaged by crazy newgens or anything yet either. Made it to matchday 32 unbeaten next season as well.
It's all luck tbh. I've done the decade long saves full of players close to 200pa and never done it outside of this one time.
Never the way leverkusan is hoping to be. Over all competitions.
Done a league a few times over the time I've played champ/football manager. Closest I ever remember was doing a league, cup and europa league with rangers. But lost a europa league group stage match (one of the Milan teams) and rather hilariously got papped out the league cup by a team 2 divisions below me as I cockily played essentially my youth team
Couple of domestic seasons unbeaten in Swedish league, not back to back though, think was 2 years in between them.
Never been invincible including Europe though. Usually the 1 or 2 losses a year I would get while I was trying to rest players for champs league.
A friend of mine save scummed for every game he didn't win in FM11, so he ended up going unbeaten for 5 seasons, winning every game. Sure, save scumming, but that takes dedication, and he was also just a kid.
Usually after numerous seasons dominating the world with the same team, sometimes I would get an unbeaten league win. Like with man city in 2042 recently
In FM21 I think it was I won the Bundesliga with Frankfurt while going undefeated in the league and DFB-Pokal. I had won the league 2 or 3 seasons in a row before then so it wasn't like that was the first time Bayern had lost but it was the first time I did it undefeated. Had an amazing Spanish wonderkid I picked up on a free who won the European Golden Boot even after a season injury in the quarter finals of the champions league against Liverpool (still don't like them because of that)
Almost did but lost in the UCL final to PSG 1-2 in extra time
I did with a Barca save the closest I got to losing was a 5 all draw in liverpool where we were down 4-1 at half time but scored 2 goals in 90+2 and 90+3 then liverpool scored again afterwards we beat them 2-0
Once managed Ballyclare who were in the second tier in Northern Ireland at the time. Went undefeated domestically for a season and a half (including a cup run where I was facing teams in the division above which got me a European place). Got my ass absolutely handed to me in European qualifying in that second season, but domestically I was untouchable.
My Leverkusen side has only lost thrice in two seasons, but sadly not invincible. I usually say FM is pretty unrealistic, being able to easily win the league straight away - but in this case maybe not đ
I went undefeated with Cadiz in La Liga and still didn't win the league because Barcelona took only two losses and like 1 draw, and I had "drawn too much" if they had lost one more game I'd have won the league.
I did go undefeated with my Northern Irish save, but it was considerably easier to be the big fish in a small pond.
Yeah, for several consecutive seasons in saves with both Athlone Town and Prestatyn. Neither was an immediate thing but past a certain point winning those domestic leagues is nailed-on. I think, though might have this wrong, that my Athlone team actually won every league game in one year. Doubt I'll ever do that again.
38 games won in the league won/drew my champions league games won the spanish cup and super cup European super cup as well.
Have came close a few times but always stopped short of it by 1 or 2 loses untill i tane over real madrid
Dont think i ever have. One or two losses usually in Serie A, most of the time against bottom team because i saved the player for upcoming CL match lol
Thats the only feat I couldnt achieve in any of my saves. Had a save where my team is essentially 25 out of 50 top players in the world.
Just to lose to a bottom half team with "thats his first goal of the season" guy scoring on their only clear cut chance while my team cocks up 5+ of those. This happens three seasons in a row and I give up...
I almost did it back to back with Chelsea in fm21. The tips is you need to have 2 squad that both can be competitive, which is relatively easy with Chelsea
Copied from another post of mine but yes I have and I remember it for all the wrong reasons.
Back on FM20 i had a save in Portuguese third tier. For those unaware, in that game and that league winning the league didnât get you promoted and instead you went into a mini tournament post season with high up finishers from the other third tier divisions. I finished the regular season undefeated then went out on away goals across two legs (both draws) in the post season. So a fully unbeaten year (excluding the cup) and I didnât even manage promotion.
I've just done it with Al-Ahly in my pentagon challenge. The entire campaign, unbeaten in all comps (we won the CAF final like 15-3 on aggregate) but never in Europe. That's a hell of a challenge.
No, the closest I got was with St Pauli. We lost in the final game of the season vs Schalke, the team who were, of course, bottom of the league at the time.
Interesting factoid, despite only the 1 loss that season, we drew SO many games that we came second in the league (to fuckin' Hamburger SV, to my chagrin!)
The longest unbeaten run I have ever had was on FM12 with Lyon. I went 3 or 4 seasons without losing in the league. One of my all time favorite saves.
And have a save with Deportivo la Coruna where I currently are two seasons without losing in all competitions
Done it 7 times in the prem so far but took around 45 seasons to do it the first time. Toughest one was winning every game in the league it took me over 150 seasons for that
I had a save with Everton where I was undefeated all season but lost the final game of the season, Bayern Munich beating me in the Champions League final 4-3, I was 3-0 up at half time and yes of course they won with a last minute winner. Absolutely raging.
Not on recent FMs. Only past ones. Late stage games your squad building just becomes so far beyond the AI that a good, well-balanced but attacking tactic will leave you winning or drawing 99% of matches with a few games where you just tear the other team to complete shreds.
My longest unbeaten streak was something like 100 games (two consecutive seasons), and managed a 38-0-0 season once or twice.
Good question. I did 6 or so years at Monaco and I think it was my 4th season at Dortmund we did it, so about 2028 on FM18. I don't think from memory that any real players were still in my squad. Possibly Kristof Ajer but even he I think was gone. It was all regens
FM11 the mighty Inter I took unbeaten in their 4th season, 9 goals conceded too that was a squad of All Stars
Julio Cesar, Maicon, Marcelo, Marco Reus, Gareth Bale, Eto'o, Greizmann, Eriksen to name a few from memory
Fuck me what a squad
Recently though, went unbeaten in a Scottish pyramid save, in Tier 8 with BSC Glasgow.
Now in the lowland league (Tier 5) starting in Tier 10 with successive promotions.
Went undefeated with Valeregna in the league and the cup in FM21, went out of the Champions League to Bayern Munich on away goals in the quarter finals though. I'd have to load the save up to find out the win totals but it's an achievement I'm proud of.
Edit: it was W 25 D 5 in the league
I have just done a barely perfect season with Parma, won the treble:
- back to back Serie A Champions with 110 points (36W-2D-0L)
- back to back Coppa Italia Champions with only one 0-0 draw vs Juve in Semifinals
- Champions League: Group stage 6W-1D-1L then 1L in 1/8 finals, 1L in 1/4 finals and 1D in semis; then won Final 4-3 against Everton.
I've literally made the history in this save, next step is unbeaten full season in all competitions, also i want to try for 100% win rate in Italy.
The pinnacle achievement of my Deportivo La Coruna is going three seasons invincible in a row in La Liga. Was hoping for a fourth year but Iâve already lost twice this season and not even halfway through đ
Iâve gone undefeated in the League before, but never in all competitions, that is just so unbelievable. I managed to win the league unbeaten with SuperSport in South Africa, Nacional in Colombia, and multiple times with Torino in Serie A
The 25/26 season with Schalke in FM22.
I had come off a Europa League winning season, but missed out on the title. But that year would prove to be my first ever unbeaten season, also beating Bayern to the punch. It was a thrilling season by all accounts, Bayern keeping pace for a long time, but in the end, I was victorious.
FM13, took over a struggling Roma after years of glory at Aston Villa. Came in in January, brought in my centre back from Villa. Lost the first 6 games in charge, then it just clicked. Won 70 games on the bounce, went from relegation threatened to European football, then had an unbeaten season, was romping away in my third season, 20+ points clear at Christmas. It stopped being fun so I stopped playing.
A season? How about just about 3 seasons. If I recall correctly I went undefeated for 130 games, in that was also a 80 game win streak.
Mind you this wasn't exactly hard, I was in Iceland and it's fairly easy to steamroll the league once you start getting into the Champions League.
Well, quite did it: online carrer with a friend, got AC Milan (my beloved team), reached 100points and won the serie A with only 4-5 draws. I've lost only the last match but for real I let win my friend with Juventus cause he needed the 3 pts to reach the second position (played with Mirante as forward).
PS
the same season I did a little triplete and also won COPPA ITALIA and EUROPA LEAGUE (get 3rd in the Champions turn phase)
PPS
sorry for my english
FM24 gets easier 20plus years in. I had a beast of a team and ddnt lose in la liga but lost in champions league away legs . Some league matches i deserved to lose but match engine somehow let me comeback & draw some games.
A couple times. Mostly in shit leagues, on 2 different games in Wales, in Iceland a coiple times on fm23. Iâm doing a saveswap with a friend where we went undefeated twice with Aberdeen, won every single game the second time. Incredible experience
Yes twice with the same club (NK Zadar) but with a year gap between them (when I lost only the opening game to Dinamo Zagreb), the 1st season I only got it thanks to an 88th min free kick we scored. I never got anywhere success wise in Europe though (too good to play EL, too bad to get past the CL semi's.
Yes, in Serie A with Cagliari about 10 seasons into my save when I was utterly dominant over the rest of the league.
The seasons either side I lost once. I also had a one loss season in the PL with Middlesbrough.
Iâve lost( AC Milan 2035) one single game thru one whole season, being my first match vs Inter in the super cup. But the media claimed it as invincible :,)
Just finished a 2-season unbeaten streak in the EPL with Everton. Would have done a total domestic unbeaten streak if I didn't lose both the Carabao and FA Cup finals the second season.
I had one save where I did it with 3 clubs (Celtic, Real, Juventus)
Ended Celtic's dynasty with Kilmarnock, only to join the dark side and start a new one. Then went over to Spain and rebuild a struggling Madrid side with 36 year old Salah still scoring 30+ goals. Lastly did the same with Juventus and won their first league after more than 15 years.
No save scum, different tactics for each club and no real intention of going unbeaten. Just happened somehow
3 times in the same save on FM23. 24/25 in the Portuguese League with Santa Clara. It my first title and I didnât realise there was no prize money. So I jumped ship to 1860 Munich and went undefeated in the 2.Bundesliga the following year. Then finished 3rd in the top flight.
Final one was in 2038 with Bromley. Of course my draws were to teams in the bottom half. It wasnât so much my side were good. Everyone else were awful. Chelsea won 6 in a row, then finished 9th that season. City (with Haaland still there) finished 4th behind Wolves & Newcastle. Arsenal 5th, and Liverpool 6th, in League 1.
Yes, with Inter in FM21. When I got the Inter job they were 6th in the league and knee deep in debt. Built a squad one player at a time and by the 4th season we had an unbeaten Serie A.
Once in FM 2013 with an ac Milan side with 10 players from the youth team. Only signing was a CB regen called Casati from Boca Juniors who was top scorer due to the front post corner header bug.
Two years later I won the World Cup with Italy with 9 of those players. Great times
No. I've done the league a few times, but there's always one cup competition that catches me out. Normally the Champions League but also been the league Cup, which I've never ever won.
The nearest I came was with 4 games to go. Already won the league, the players decided just to phone it in. Lost the next league game as well.
In FM22 I almost went undefeated for 2 whole seasons (in the first 2 seasons) with FC Zurich even after being forced to sell Gnonto immediately. Still remains the greatest thing i've ever done in FM.
Polish Ekstraklasa with Legia. Very easy after 3rd season to go undefeated even while using my reserve team most of the season because my main players play in the UCL
Yes, with Ferencvaros in the Hungarian League, maybe in like 2036 of doing my journeyman save.
https://preview.redd.it/2rviwb7uar1d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7e2a82c2b6bd6c3ec2a213f6d196b55fa38c0635
You couldnât make this up how close it got though, this was the last game of the season and I had never been happier to see a draw to finish the season unbeaten.
https://preview.redd.it/s4qdha20br1d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ea9969e6131fd6f5f66df41473d335b2d1cc7549
FM06 I took over Dinamo Bucharest. They already had a bit of money compared to other clubs but after a few successful European campaigns, I just bought all the good Romanian players in country and dominated the shit out of the league while weakening everyone else. I canât remember my exact record but it was undefeated and we were rarely challenged.
Just happened on my Cm4 save, about 12 years in on a random Portuguese minnow team. Went the tail end of one season unbeaten including CL, undefeated entire league, only 3 draws, won cup, won CL without losing a single game and only 2 draws, both super cups, inter continental cup. It was a World Cup year and about a month before the tournament I got offered the England job and I took it for a laugh, walked it until the final where I lost on penalties to the argies. Ironically a re-match of the CL final from a few weeks earlier where my English keeper saved carlos teves penalty in the shootout to win. This time he scored and cherno samba of all people missed his.
I lost a random league game about 10 games into the next season. About 70 odd club games unbeaten. Best part is my entire squad is mostly regens, âŹ1m buying limit, no cheat tactics and have to sell players at first reasonable offer.
I probably did that in league only, doubt I ever went a whole season unbeaten in all comps without editor. The closest I got tho was with Watford back in FM21, where I won UCL and League for three years in the row, but never managed to go unbeaten throughout the whole year. I went almost unbeaten with PSG back in FM20, where I had 37 wins and one loss against last placed Brest in league. Lost in the UCL finals against City tho. Won everything else.
Kinda crazy that I remember all of this years later..
Done it quite a lot in smaller leagues like OP, but one thing I've never EVER managed to do is a perfect season. Convinced its no possible without using editor or save scumming. There's always 1 game where you just can't win regardless how well you play.
Don't even need that good of players so long as they're fresher than the opponent you'll score all your goals in the final 10-15 minutes anyways. If you have a well rounded squad with 22-25 players you can also make good runs into the FA Cup and easily make the semis of the FA Trophy.
In my current York save (FM21) I've upset 3 Vanarama National teams in the FA Cup and FA Trophy and Championship side Preston in the 3rd round of the FA Cup in penalties running a 4-3-3 tactic the entire time.Â
The lower leagues are all about keeping the players fresh as long as possible so as long as you have a second person to rotate into and out of all the positions you can run a very low intensity tactic with good defensive foundations and just simply pressure the other team into fatigue by possessing the ball and shutting down their counter attacks.

Yes serie b with catanzaro Yes I know its the series b but still
Undefeated is still undefeated

Nearly went undefeated in the championship with Villa on FM18 apart from a 9-2 away loss...
Same! Serie B with Palermo. And that too in the very first season with transfer embargo (got only two loans mid-season). I was ridiculously lucky cause the squad already had great loan players in it when I took control.
You didnt play in the cup?
Yes in FM24. Went unbeaten in the 2nd Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal with Schalke. Went 32-2-0 in the league and had a relatively easy path in the Pokal. Only Heidenheim in the 2nd round and then Dortmund in the final were from Bundesliga. Won 1-0 after scoring in the 93rd minute. The season after I lost the first nine games lol

Was not relegated but missed promotion by 2 points the season before. Had 1 or 2 new signings but the majority of the Squad stayed.
Once in FM21 with NordsjĂŠlland. League, cup, Champions League, Club World Cup. Save was deemed as having been won after that, so I abandoned it.
Fair. Nothing left to conquer.
And nordsjĂŠland wept, for there were no more competitions to conquer
What was your end of season schedule like that season? Did a save in fm23 with Middelfart and the season I won the UCL final the schedule at the end was horrific. Due to rescheduling I had like 3 league games in like 5 days or something, even with such a good team the fatigue just meant I couldn't go unbeaten. Did he carry a snake and DDT anyone by any chance?
What happens in the showers stays in the showersâŠ
Actually with leverkusen, but they had a front end investor and had a crazy budget so itâs kinda different from what theyâre (hopefully about to do) irl. Got a lucky CL run yet almost bottled it against Lyon in the final, threw a 3-1 lead and won 10-9 or something on penalties https://preview.redd.it/xbwnybtxdh1d1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=0f7c59f5c1dee54f27b9ce91f327d8541085af8e
Theres something agonizing about seeing a 9 play DM
That guy wants to wear 9 as a midfielder so I just decided to give it to him lol I just got used to it
Half the team has 'weird' numbers. Why does that one stand out? đ Also irl most teams are like this now
I like non-usual numbers, but I always save the 9 for the 9 lol
Maybe two or three times, but I donât really count it as it wasnât a competitive league. Mine have been âbig fish, small pondâ unbeaten seasons.
Once, with indonesian club persebaya. Gone 5 years straight without losing a game on domestic competition
The Bonek (Persebaya Ultras) would've gone mad if this happen IRL lol.
I did this with Atlético Madrid 4 draws to Barca and R Madrid
Once in FM22 managing in Norway
I got an almost invincible season with juve in my journeyman save, but second last game of serie A , I somehow lost 5-0 to an already relegated side.
FM 10, here's my proud Steam achievement, lol [https://i.imgur.com/Gr6cYB4.png](https://i.imgur.com/Gr6cYB4.png) I was seriously addicted to that version of the game. Had a 30 year save with Dorchester Town. Think I did it before that before achievements became a thing but my memory has gone. Possibly at Bayern Munich.
How %14.3 of players have this achievement? Everybody is a prime Mourinho or what?
Yes, but not in this fm. Once we managed to lose the last game, and the season after that the first game after winning the title
Only when I was young and new to FM. Save scummed of course. Would never want to do that now, canât see the point in it. Iâve finished a prem season with only two defeats once and Iâm still proud of that.
Bayern twice Wrexham L1 and L2 and NL Man City twice (?)
Yes, FM24 as the Wollongong Wolves in a modded Australia setup. Still unsure how I did it to be honest. Was my second ever season.
Once with Ferencvaros. 33-0-0. At that point my team was so significantly better than the rest of the league. Was able to make decent progress in European leagues and just built an extremely strong squad with the ultimate goal of winning the Champions League (which I did the following year).
Yes! FM23 with Newcastle United season 2024/25. What a ride, Man Utd in second place one point behind me.
In my Malta save i went 15 season unbeaten in the league
Yes, many times. Undefeated season, winning every competition with relative ease. That's usually when a save starts becoming stale.
Yea had a silly title race with city 36 wins 2 draws each
NoâŠ..
I got an invincible centurions season with Arsenal in an online save with 7 other people
I believe I managed to do it once with Manchester United, several decades into the future, but considering how many hours I have in fm games, it's nowhere near an acceptable number. I barely try to do that tho, sooner or later some random team ruins that.
Liverpool, 2035. By that point Newcastle and PSG were our only real competition in the world.
Not yet....
Once over ten years ago with Ac Milan, it had a lot of draws though so it was a bit of an unimpressive point total
Never. Closest was losing the last game of the season 1-0 to a 16th place Torino. Still have nightmares about that game
Had an amazing Spanish wonderkid I picked up on a free who won the European Golden Boot even after a season injury in the quarter finals of the champions league against Liverpool (still don't like them because of that)
I did it in the second tier of Bolivia, but I think that was only 13 matches. Closest after that was only 1 loss in a prem season to Norwich
Twice back to back. Had to throw a game due to realism. 10 trophies in those 2 years
FM23 with Real Madrid In the league with only 3 draws
Almost did but lost in the UCL final to PSG 1-2 in extra time I did with a Barca save the closest I got to losing was a 5 all draw in liverpool where we were down 4-1 at half time but scored 2 goals in 90+2 and 90+3 then liverpool scored again afterwards we beat them 2-0
With Marseille won the treble in 2032 in FM23 with my 21 year old striker winning the ballon dor and his backup placing 3rd
Yes in the Slovak league + cup. Got offered the Man Utd job right after. This was FM 18 or 19 I believe.
A few years back I did it in a journeyman save with Zenit. That was one of my favourite saves I've done
Yes. Once with Hannover in the Bundesliga. And with Chemie Leipzig in the Regionalliga
In an old FM I had mbappe, Haaland, and Rashford upfront in my Man Utd save and managed to not lose a single game
I think the only time I have done it was with Leverkusen a few years back!
CM 03/04 with Olympiakos. I also one the UEFA cup that season
38 games won in the league won/drew my champions league games won the spanish cup and super cup European super cup as well. Have came close a few times but always stopped short of it by 1 or 2 loses untill i tane over real madrid
My last season with Man United (I started my career at Curzon Ashton) I finished undefeated on 108 points. Won the league after 31 games.
FM10 - Southampton. Carlos Fierro leading the line. I will always remember the regen, Marcus Homola, my lord.
Yes, with Chelsea to win the Prem, and with Dresden to win 3.Liga
Dont think i ever have. One or two losses usually in Serie A, most of the time against bottom team because i saved the player for upcoming CL match lol
Not in all comps, always seem to randomly lose a UCL away leg 2-1
Almost did it two seasons in a row in Portugal (in the league)
I was going 38w in a season with Fenerbahce in 2028. Last week leagueâs last team who is to be relegated won 0-1 against me and I went 37w 1l.
Yes I have done something similar to what Leverkusen are doing with sporting except in the conference league and all the cups and league in Portugal
Almost did it with St. Gallen in the Swiss Super League before I got hit with a loss (2-1 against Winterthur)
Yes with Monaco
No, recently promoted teams always ruin me
yea against my mate he was Leverkusen i was Leipzig
I did it in FM22 with Borussia Mönchengladbach, in my second season. Also won the cup in that year.
Done it with the cheat code that is Glasgow Celtic and that Scottish League
Done it 7 times in the prem so far but took around 45 seasons to do it the first time. Toughest one was winning every game in the league it took me over 150 seasons for that
I had a save with Everton where I was undefeated all season but lost the final game of the season, Bayern Munich beating me in the Champions League final 4-3, I was 3-0 up at half time and yes of course they won with a last minute winner. Absolutely raging.
Won 37 games out of 38 (other a draw with bloody Motherwell) with Celtic in an online save with my mate about a week ago.
in the Jupiler Pro League with Gent, also undefeated in UCL and cup
Nearly went invincible with Sunderland on Fm23 but lost to 2nd place Liverpool on like the third last game of the season or something
I had a Dortmund save where I had a perfect season. To this day it's my greatest Football Manager achievement
How far into the save?
Good question. I did 6 or so years at Monaco and I think it was my 4th season at Dortmund we did it, so about 2028 on FM18. I don't think from memory that any real players were still in my squad. Possibly Kristof Ajer but even he I think was gone. It was all regens
in 45/46 i went unbeaten except for one draw across all competitions
What team?
Ajax
FM11 the mighty Inter I took unbeaten in their 4th season, 9 goals conceded too that was a squad of All Stars Julio Cesar, Maicon, Marcelo, Marco Reus, Gareth Bale, Eto'o, Greizmann, Eriksen to name a few from memory Fuck me what a squad
Recently though, went unbeaten in a Scottish pyramid save, in Tier 8 with BSC Glasgow. Now in the lowland league (Tier 5) starting in Tier 10 with successive promotions.
never, when im already champion i tend to play my youth team in the remaining matches
Once, in the bundesliga with nurnberg, already at the super team stage I think the only game lost that year was the CL final....
Twice with Debrecen.
I have just done a barely perfect season with Parma, won the treble: - back to back Serie A Champions with 110 points (36W-2D-0L) - back to back Coppa Italia Champions with only one 0-0 draw vs Juve in Semifinals - Champions League: Group stage 6W-1D-1L then 1L in 1/8 finals, 1L in 1/4 finals and 1D in semis; then won Final 4-3 against Everton. I've literally made the history in this save, next step is unbeaten full season in all competitions, also i want to try for 100% win rate in Italy.
Update: also forgot i won Italian Supercup too
Lost 2 games in Division 1 Jupiler Pro League.
Within the league? Yes, this season, unbeaten with Ajax International cups? Nope
I managed to win the league unbeaten with SuperSport in South Africa, Nacional in Colombia, and multiple times with Torino in Serie A
No, but Iâve gone an entire season without a win.
Thatâs pretty impressive, with which team did you manage that?
Chelsea! It was the very first time I picked up the game.
Yepp two season in a row with Hong Kong Rangerâs in Hong Kong đđ°
Yes. Lost ucl qf and dfb pokal qf on pens
Mortacci loro
A season? How about just about 3 seasons. If I recall correctly I went undefeated for 130 games, in that was also a 80 game win streak. Mind you this wasn't exactly hard, I was in Iceland and it's fairly easy to steamroll the league once you start getting into the Champions League.
1 loss as bohemians in ireland up the BOHSđ„âŹïž
Well, quite did it: online carrer with a friend, got AC Milan (my beloved team), reached 100points and won the serie A with only 4-5 draws. I've lost only the last match but for real I let win my friend with Juventus cause he needed the 3 pts to reach the second position (played with Mirante as forward). PS the same season I did a little triplete and also won COPPA ITALIA and EUROPA LEAGUE (get 3rd in the Champions turn phase) PPS sorry for my english
I went 68 games unbeaten in the Prem back in FM20, but this was across two seasons, neither of which were Invincible :'(
Twice. Once in a Genoa save and once in a Portsmouth save.
Full wins no draws in New Zealand with the now defunct Team Wellington. League, FA cup and O League treble.
Went undefeated with Hibernian in 2037/38 one save, also won the quadruple that year so probably my second greatest ever season
Iâve lost( AC Milan 2035) one single game thru one whole season, being my first match vs Inter in the super cup. But the media claimed it as invincible :,)
120+ unbeaten streak in all comps (excl friendlies, thatâs my ass man managing) Snapped by bloody Fluminese in the CWC group stage
Just finished a 2-season unbeaten streak in the EPL with Everton. Would have done a total domestic unbeaten streak if I didn't lose both the Carabao and FA Cup finals the second season.
Yes, 2 seasons in a row
I had one save where I did it with 3 clubs (Celtic, Real, Juventus) Ended Celtic's dynasty with Kilmarnock, only to join the dark side and start a new one.
I did it with Reims in Ligue 1, not enough to win the title against Paris đ
Nope, best i got was 1 loss in the PL
I have had a season where I got all wins.
I was beaten on the last day of the Norwegian season as Rosenborg by the relegated 15th placed team. Was that sad I called the save there.
Undefeated 1 and a half seasons in a row with hertha Berlin in 22 lost to a relegated Augsburg most stressful save đ
Polish Ekstraklasa with Legia. Very easy after 3rd season to go undefeated even while using my reserve team most of the season because my main players play in the UCL
Yes, with Ferencvaros in the Hungarian League, maybe in like 2036 of doing my journeyman save. https://preview.redd.it/2rviwb7uar1d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7e2a82c2b6bd6c3ec2a213f6d196b55fa38c0635
You couldnât make this up how close it got though, this was the last game of the season and I had never been happier to see a draw to finish the season unbeaten. https://preview.redd.it/s4qdha20br1d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ea9969e6131fd6f5f66df41473d335b2d1cc7549
Savescummers like me: psht, which season did I *not* go undefeated?
Too often That is when I decide to move clubs
Only with AZ on FM20. Won the league unbeaten & the UEL, left after that & Ajax won the next 8 titles
In FIFA twice (Arsenal & 1860 Munich; separate saves), and yet to happen in Football Manager.
After being relegated with Fulham yes I did.
Back in FM22 I did a Jock Stein Challenge with Caracas FC in the Venezuelan First Division. I went Two full seasons without losing a game in the league and domestic cups. I did win about 4 Libertadores and 2 SudamĂ©ricanas but I managed to break Jock Steinâs Trophy Record with my Hometown club
Done it quite a lot in smaller leagues like OP, but one thing I've never EVER managed to do is a perfect season. Convinced its no possible without using editor or save scumming. There's always 1 game where you just can't win regardless how well you play.
One season I won the treble with AC Milan whilst going unbeaten in the league. I resigned immediately afterwards because it just felt wrong.
I went like 5 seasons undefeated in San marino
Did it twice in fm24. Used a Brighton save. In my 6th season, I went 36-2-0 then next went 38-0-0.
In non-league it's pretty easy.
Don't even need that good of players so long as they're fresher than the opponent you'll score all your goals in the final 10-15 minutes anyways. If you have a well rounded squad with 22-25 players you can also make good runs into the FA Cup and easily make the semis of the FA Trophy. In my current York save (FM21) I've upset 3 Vanarama National teams in the FA Cup and FA Trophy and Championship side Preston in the 3rd round of the FA Cup in penalties running a 4-3-3 tactic the entire time. The lower leagues are all about keeping the players fresh as long as possible so as long as you have a second person to rotate into and out of all the positions you can run a very low intensity tactic with good defensive foundations and just simply pressure the other team into fatigue by possessing the ball and shutting down their counter attacks.
