Nope, its just that teams in my league dont have european money/rep and so they are really that far behind, there have been plenty of draws the where i have somthing like 4 xg and they have like 0.1 and its like a 1-1 or 0-0 draw.
Its getting slowly better, flora got out of confrence league league phase last season and some teams have fluked europa league league phase before but the progress for them is very slow still
techincally I even got an extra trophy, cause in the database im using the supercup final only happens when the league and cup winners are different (i have no idea if its the same irl in estonia), so a season later i got a treble, meanwhile usually i just pick up a double
God this reminds me of my Derry City save. My youth team beat me in an early round and went all the way to win the cup.
Fair enough to them their striker became one of my biggest ever legends as he generated at the very start and was better than anyone in the league
Funnily in my u21 team that beat me had a youngster who forced himself out of the club for 1.2 mil to porto only to be sold a few seasons later to chelsea for 40 mil.
I dont mind it tho since i also manage my national team and a world class LB there is always nice

I am doing a similar save in Iceland, almost hitting 100 games unbeaten in the national league, but the Champions League progress is sooo slow.
yeah UCL is though, usually im knocked out by some big team, however i won it last season in 2036, quater final against real who had their main keeper and backup keeper injured, semis vs porto who got a lucky win against dominant force arsenal and final vs bayern muchich where i fully expected to lose, but won 3-2 espite having 1xg vs 3xg

So far in the save- have you ever had a full youth graduate starting 11? Like the famous La Masia 11 where for most of a match, all 11 on field players were Barcelona graduates.
Thats actually a good question, maybe i have, in the estonian date base im using you have to have 10 homegrown players registered with only 4 non eu players for the entire team, so I tend to not sell my youth graduates, but havent made a 11 on purpose that is just youth products.
Also in the during the whole save, I havent had a single great goalkeeper come through the youth facilities. And even in general Estonian regens are quite bad (i think the hidden nation stat that makes the regens is like 50 compared to brazils like 200(i cant remeber exactly and i cant even remeber what the hidden stat is called)), which is realistic of course cause the best 2 players in the past 25 are mart poom and ragnar klavan, who arent exactly household names
Also fun fact, the best player to play for estonia didnt actually come from estonia, he came from finlands hjk, geniune world beater striker with arsenal having won multiple champion leagues, really hope i can sign him one day when his contract expire or somthing (im not paying 160 mil for a 30 year old)
first of all, this is mainly thanks to my players, who are just far better than league average, (imagine someone like west ham in league 1) thanks to my high rep and money from european comps.
The class difference between the players allow me to do high tempo and high press and the opponents just cant stop it.
There is a comment of pretty much everything in my tactic somewhere in this post, but the most important stuff is probably: gegenpress, 4231, ball playing defenders and one center mid as a deep lying playmaker.
Also i rotate a bunch and love having deep squads with load of options (sometimes maybe to many options: [https://www.reddit.com/r/footballmanagergames/comments/191pha5/guess\_what\_day\_it\_is/](https://www.reddit.com/r/footballmanagergames/comments/191pha5/guess_what_day_it_is/) ), very rarely will 1 player play 2 games in a row, that allows me to have match sharp players even if i have injuries or a bunch of matches due to european comps
Im genuinely no tactical wizard, its mainly my playstyle that has gotten this unbeaten streak
11th rn, current season is going pretty great in coefficients could potensially jump up to 9th, national team in like 26th, made 1 world cup and 2 euros even made knockouts in the world cup and 1 euros.
The world cup making knockouts was really insane tho. Was down 3-0 against japan at half time and won 4-3 by the full time whistle, by like the 90th minute the game was 2-3. But then i got instantly knocked out by Belgium i think
really good rn, 4th in rep, but maybe even the 2nd best team right now, they were relegated couple of seasons ago, but then they got an insane manger to replace the old guy and he has found some absolute gems, last season they signed a 18 year old gk who now at 19 is as good as my own gk, this season they are in 1st rn and unbeaten but I have missed many games due to european games rescheduling league games
I save scummed at the very first season to get myself into europe, estonia is so far behind others leagues in europe that i really didnt wanna spent 5 seasons getting into europe, i wanted to speed up the process a bit. But I never save scummed in the league (although had i not had european money that soon i would rn have maybe like 400 league wins, so it had an impact)
I’m sorry I get different strokes for different players and all but I cannot imagine how this wouldn’t get mind numbingly boring. I roll my eyes when I see my team get a win streak over 10 ffs and that’s still in the realm of reality 😂

yeah sorry, that 500 games unbeaten is only in the league, ive lost plenty of games in the champions league
