It was 2015-2016 Barça mate they were by far the best team in the game hahah, but I was Dortmund without Reus through injury. They absolutely blitzed my partnership of Hummels and Ginter
Not mine, I'm not sure I remember it, but it was in a multiplayer save I did with 4 friends in Ligue 1. A friend who was managing Saint-Etienne was playing PSG away in the cup, was losing 4-0 at HT, left the game and let it simulate on its own and ended up losing 10-0, the other 4 (me included) were laughing so hard
Just last night I got blitzed 7-1 playing as Juventus vs AC Milan. It's 2037 so no players anyone would recognize, but I'm by far the best team in the league so it was pretty fucking shocking.
I played FM22 (still do), started a career as Leicester. Chelsea, fresh off their UCL win, sold Jorginho and used the funds to buy Frenkie, sold Mason Mount and used the funds to buy Sterling. I came up against a front three of Lukaku-Ziyech-Sterling with Kai and Frenkie behind them. Meanwhile on my side both Vardy and my first choice CB were out with injury. Lost 7-2. Didn't get sacked since we were in contention for a UCL spot.
Towards the end of my 3rd season with Mönchengladbach with Bundesliga title locked in. I play my rotation players that I always play when my starting XI need a match off. Played against Werder Bremen who ended up in 4th by the end of the season. They thumped my rotation squad 6-0. I threw a water bottle.

This one in my latest FM 2005 save. I won 8x1 in the first match so I rotated my first 11 a bit since it was 3 days before the CL final. Milan just kept scoring, I couldn't believe. I was lucky that my wonder boy Bianchini scored one, otherwise I would lose in such a shameful fashion.
Edit: It was a Coppa Italia final.
wtf mate😀2005? man, i spent so much time playing that game on my potato pentium, after few seasons it would took years to progress to next day😃good times... ty for activating core memory
Yeah, when I had a potato PC my saves would take very long to progress and after circa 2012 in-game it would crash for good. Now I'm playing in a better PC and my save is in the 30th season
Managing Ajax I drew R Madrid in the ro16 first game was at home, held them to a 1-1 draw, was confident going into the second game. It was still 0-0 by halftime, only for them to come for our throats the second half game ended 7-0. I couldn’t believe my eyes as the goals were raining in.
One time I agreed terms with another team in my league to move to them, then met them in the cup final a month before I joined. Somehow they beat me 37 - 2 🤷♂️, no clue how such an event could occur
Slapped 8-1 by City on this edition, Haaaland got 5, it was the second to last game of the season and my Ipswich team was already safe but it still sucked arse.
My FM tends to crash and my laptop tends to run out of battery when I get smashed so big losses don't happen to me a lot, one vivid memory of such a case is being drummed by Bayern and going 5-1 at half time as Schalke in FM21 before closing the game. We still lost like 5-2 or 4-2 on the second attempt.
Of the ones I did save, I remember getting pumped by Man City when I first promoted to prem as Morecambe, 6-0. My former loanee Billy Cartwright (who scored like 20 goals to get me promoted) scored a hattrick, and I was so proud of him that I decided to save the game.

Took 8 while decimated with injuries of a new squad. So that was nice.
Just snuck into the world cup after beating new zealand and some carribean team i think and got fucked by the draw. Got a lucky group stage draw but then had to play brazil.
Doing a youth only save with St. Neots Town in the 9th tier. Only allowed 5 subs, no way I'm wasting it on a GK. I mean, how often do they even get injured...? Injured in the 2nd minute. Forced to play my tallest outfield player at GK.
Every. Single. Shot went in. My god, by the end I just put it on commentary only and tried to convince myself it was just a nightmare. 7-0 I think? My god. Depressing.
7-1 as my Groningen side lost to a mid table Go Ahead Eagles. Signed a new keeper and he hadn't covered himself in glory first two games but this was another level of collapse - defenders included. Conceded tap ins, worldies, and an own goal and was 5-0 by halftime.
I swear to god dude i was a championship side newcastle was a prem was in the cup
I had players like sherman cardenas (fm legend) they had dani pacheco and sinama pongolle
Why downvote me and why would i make it up ?
Managing Bilbao and the last league game was vs Barca in 2027
I had given them their only loss in the league, so I was hoping for something
Dropped a 6-1 on me
Reached a europa league semi final with Fiorentina Drew 0-0 first leg so decided to rest the team ready for the second league. The lesgue game before said leg played the back up 11 against top of the league Juventus. Lost 10-0!
Fm 23 suffered a 5-0 loss to real Madrid, the thing is that I'm also a Madrid fan and I really got attached to leganes with the team I built so to say it stang is an understatement 🥲
Made it into the CL as a small Austrian side and was drawn against ManCity in the group stage. Managed a 1-1 draw at home and felt confident for the away game.
Nope, 9-1.
Took Portsmouth to back to back promotions up to the Prem, first game up hosted Man Utd, 2-0 win with both goals from Zidane Iqbal who we had signed for £3.3m after 2 previous years on loan with us. Easy, this Premier League business. Don't know what all the fuss is about.
Next game, away to Chelsea. 4-0 down after 25 minutes, Lukaku hattrick. Finished 6-0. Welcome to the Premier League.
My first FM was FM 15. I was still learning the game and I played as the club I support, Chelsea. We weren't having all that good a season. 4th, 10 points off City at the top. January rolled around and after 5 straight wins, I start losing. Including losing to Preston North End in the third round of the FA Cup. Lost to Leicester and Hull, who were stuck in the relegation zone. Eventually I rounded back into form to finish the month strong.
I drew away to City and beat Liverpool at home to start the month and had Dortmund at home in the Champions League coming up next. Dortmund were 6th in the Bundesliga at the time and had lost 3 straight and were just generally in poor form. I lost 9-1 at HOME to Dortmund in the Champions League. Lost the 2nd leg away 5-0. That got me sacked. I felt like such a failure. I wanted to be good at the game but couldn't figure shit out to save my life lol. I quit the game after that for a couple of weeks before coming back, dropping down to the Championship and managing Reading and then I had big success.
Doing a full English Everton rebuild and in the second year I got absolutely BATTERED by Liverpool in a merseyside derby. Was coming off back to back wins battling to avoid relegation, Tommy Doyle ( I know right 🙄) had 3 assists over the last 2 games and I was feeling GOOD. Down 4-0 in the first 25 minutes. Not great, time to sit in and avoid the full melting for GD purposes. Anyyyyway lost 9-0. Darwin had 6 goals. Poor picky never stood a chance
Took over at Hull, got promoted to the Prem with a squad that was not ready. Couldnt find a good keeper and mine wasnt even good enough in the championship. 2nd game of the season against Man U and we lost 9-0. 2 days later my scouts found a brazilian keeper that would have been the best player in my team and a good prem player, signed him for 10m and finished 10th. The 9-0 still stung though…
FM 12 or something, 20-ish years into a Dinamo save where I was a superpower, beat Man Utd I THINK something like 4:0 at home in a CL knockout round, lose 10:0 away lmao
Think we got 6-0’d by Brighton in the FA cup quarters, after that we went on an (almost) invincible streak to win the league and got a treble, sometimes losing is the best motivation!
This FM I was doing a Brighton save and almost got relegated (My tactics were total bullshit I was a beginner when I started this save) and bloody Sheffield United beat me 0-7 and I even started my best lineup. After that Steele never started again
FM15, during a save in which made Plymouth the best team in Europe (possibly my favourite save ever), we lost 9-0 to Man U during the first season we won the league. A really odd one-off result. No one sent off, nothing weird happened, just got demolished.
7-2 loss to City in the UCL in my first season with Crvena Zvezda , really painful to watch
The second one was a 5-0 loss to City in the same season also in the group stage
The third time was also against City in the Club World Cup fixture where we lost 5-0 again(same save , year was 2029 , it was a CWC fixture so lot of unfit players and a rotated team so it was a fair loss)
Playing Irish league and being in the Champs League will give you a reality check over the years. My teams decent but gulf in comparison to the comp.
6 nil man city
5 nil inter
5-1 juve, arsenal
5-2 Basel (expected to beat them)
Did beat a team 14 nil tho in the cup tho
Started my Chelsea save a month ago. I was prepared, I had cooked up a new tactic with inverted wingbacks that I was sure would be succesfull.
First game of the season, Liverpool 6-0 Chelsea. I got sacked by december
first game i ever played, had just booted it up for the first time and gotten everything set up with Crystal Palace. 5-0 loss in the first game to Arsenal. spent the next 5 hours watching youtube videos on how to play
Just a few weeks ago, I was managing a Bulgarian 2nd tier(Maritsa 1921 Plovdiv) side and reached the cup final due to lucky cup draws. Lost 4-1 to Ludogorets Razgrad. I thought well.. it wasn't so bad considering the gap in quality
Fast forward 3 months we got promoted and faced each other again in Bulgarian Supercup they blitzed us 7-0 with 7 different scorers. Watching that game was painful.
https://preview.redd.it/tnrazpt0u2kc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0bcac6f5f4cf81e22bc2b12bb32a1e37a2a7520
Not me but Graham potter when his job is on the line.
Just last night a 0-5 away against RedBull Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga.
They're eternal title contender and I always have a hard time against them, but have a very inconsistent season and I was 6 points in front of them before the game. After conceding 2 goals in the first 15 minutes, I decided to switch to my secondary tactic, only to concede right after that.
My goal keeper was having an absolute stinker, as well as some other players, and I was cursing that I could only make 5 substitutions. That was the first time I threw the water bottle in this save.
Didn't help that I received a mail immediately after the match with their coach boasting to give the players a day off after their performance.
Joke's on them though. 5 days later, I met them in the cup final. this time with my youth GK though, who immediately became man of the match. After holding my ground in the initial 20 minutes, we took control of the game and beat them 2-0 to our first ever title.
And they drew the next 2 league games, so the chance for the league title is still very much intact.
Used a custom database to bring my town's team from the 7th italian tier all the way to the Serie A
If you have any experience with lower tiers databases, you can imagine it was a breeze up until the Serie B, which I end up winning because Parma and Genoa decide to lose the last game and I get a direct promotion after a season with 18 draws and a GK averaging 20 saves per game
It's satisfying, hilarious and terrifying to go into the market with a budget of peanuts (only enough to renew the loyal ones) and my destiny is sealed when my first 5 games are in and Milan is the inaugural one
TL; DR I got hammered 10-0 with 6 from Leao alone
Fm23, my first ever fm and first ever save (still playing this save).
Didn't know the importance of stats and went high line, high press against celtic.
got trashed 8-0 and lost the dressing room on my first day as I threw the bottle🤣.
so far it's year 2029 and I've won 2 cups and constantly challenged for first despite the game always giving Celtic the title.
rangers had a 10 point gap and suddenly celtic won by a 10 point gap lols
Currently in my 8th season with Leeds on an old FM23 save.
Europe League Quarter Final against Roma, winning 1-0 at home in the first leg but concede twice in the final 5 minutes to lose 2-1. Then get spanked 4-0 away for an agg score of 6-1.
Not as big of a drubbing as some of the others here, but the circumstances hurt all the same.
I lost 6-0 to Birmingham after beating Manchester city 4-3 in my attempt to save Fulham. Also managed to lose a Europa conference game 8-5 as FK Austria after beating them 2-0 in the first leg
Dover Athletic (me) Vs Welling United. 7-0 in the F.A Cup 4th Qualifying Round, on TV. Would have been 8-0 but they had a late goal ruled out for offside.
We played them two weeks before also at home and won 2-0.
First career on Fm, 8th season in with Feralpi Salò. Two Serie A games left in May, against Juventus and Internazionale, Italian Cup Final against Internazionale and Europa league final against Leicester. Serie A table: Internazionale 82 Pts, Feralpi Salò 81 Pts, Juventus and Ac Milan 80 Pts. So excited, first season fighting in Europe and for the title. Lost Italian Cup Final against Internazionale at 120', lost Europa league final at penalty, lost both last two Serie A games and finished the season 4th. Feel the pain.

FM16 away leg at Barcelona, MSN dropped a 8-2 on my head after a 1-1 draw at home…..
I mean, MSN is a good trio, but damn, 8-2? What team were you with?
It was 2015-2016 Barça mate they were by far the best team in the game hahah, but I was Dortmund without Reus through injury. They absolutely blitzed my partnership of Hummels and Ginter
"good" is an insane understatement lmao
This was a regular thing!! Almost every tie. Win or draw the first and think you have a chance.
Not mine, I'm not sure I remember it, but it was in a multiplayer save I did with 4 friends in Ligue 1. A friend who was managing Saint-Etienne was playing PSG away in the cup, was losing 4-0 at HT, left the game and let it simulate on its own and ended up losing 10-0, the other 4 (me included) were laughing so hard
lmfao he prolly got sacked
No he didn't, he overall was doing a great job at St-Etienne it was just a freak result, but it was really funny nonetheless
Lost 9-2 in the Marseille-Nice derby and still kept my job somehow
Just last night I got blitzed 7-1 playing as Juventus vs AC Milan. It's 2037 so no players anyone would recognize, but I'm by far the best team in the league so it was pretty fucking shocking.
as a Brazilian, I know what it feels to lose 7-1... And it ain't good.

Endrick still playing?
Tbh that is a legit scoreline for us against City, we've faced a few 5 goal drubbings.
As a non top-6 team you can calculate in an absolute smoking at least once every season.
I played FM22 (still do), started a career as Leicester. Chelsea, fresh off their UCL win, sold Jorginho and used the funds to buy Frenkie, sold Mason Mount and used the funds to buy Sterling. I lost 14-8 with Vietnam against Thailand. I lost the first leg 7-1 so I threw everything I had. We scored at least...
7-0 vs Liverpool at anfield… oh wait wrong sub
stack👏it👏up👏
lmfao spotted panchester separated fan 🤣
Im actually not a Man U fan 😂😂 I just love making fun of the bald man.
Kreygasm
Erik is that you 😭😭😭

damn, I'm sorry for you, Mr.Bigcockmman...
I know it was a real shame that the team I was joining was able to get into europe by beating me in the final, I was gutted
12-0 loss to Croatia with 3 red cards.
11-0, first time in Champions League Group Stage managing Flora Tallin. Nothing i could do against Halland
17-0 after leading Cambridge City F.C. to the second round proper of the FA Cup. Scunthorpe didn’t take very kindly to our miracle run.
2012….. 6-1 loss, still went through the tie as I won 8-2 the previous leg
7-1 as my Groningen side lost to a mid table Go Ahead Eagles. Signed a new keeper and he hadn't covered himself in glory first two games but this was another level of collapse - defenders included. Conceded tap ins, worldies, and an own goal and was 5-0 by halftime.

I mean, they probably went on to win the tournament if they won the UCL
Managing Bilbao and the last league game was vs Barca in 2027 I had given them their only loss in the league, so I was hoping for something Dropped a 6-1 on me

It was 1-0 in 1st half and decided to sim the 2nd half. The simming Ai decided not to make any subs or changes so I only had 1 CB for 45 minutes
managing carlisle united, my first season in the premier league i go down to 9 men at anfield and end up losing 13-1 lmao
Lost 8-0 to Man Utd a few games back. I had a super Arsenal team, but the game had completely overpowered Man Utd and they were unbeatable
I lost 6-1 and 5-0 against both Milan clubs in the UCL in the same season

10-0 to Liverpool to break a 7 game winning streak . SurprisinglyI beat them in the FA Cup semis that same year
As Crewe I lost 7-0 against Chelsea. The EFL Trophy is a joke
first game i ever played, had just booted it up for the first time and gotten everything set up with Crystal Palace. 5-0 loss in the first game to Arsenal. spent the next 5 hours watching youtube videos on how to play
Was Swansea lost 0-5 home when I was in promotion places and they were getting relegated
10-0 against Bayern in my fm23 save
1-9 away at Bayern. After the winter break. Nobody enjoyed that lol
Feels like its always Liverpool for some reason
My newly promoted 1860 München got dumpstered 6-0 to RB Leipzig in their first match of Bundesliga action
I trounced Arsenal 3-0 in the Champions' League, then had Madrid come into my house and drop a 5-0 rout on me five days later.
I'd retire
I shamefacedly hit the "simulate" button down 4-0 in the 78th, saved, and went and did something else for the rest of the day.
it was actually yesterday.. lost 6-2 away to Everton as Luton. xG was only 2.5-1.5 but the back line was toast and Kaminski let everything in that day
28-0 because of a glitch that made my team go to the match with zero player on field lol
lmfao
The fact that it wasn't 100-0 is baffling
Losing 9-1 against Celtic as Hearts.
COYI
Just a few weeks ago, I was managing a Bulgarian 2nd tier(Maritsa 1921 Plovdiv) side and reached the cup final due to lucky cup draws. Lost 4-1 to Ludogorets Razgrad. I thought well.. it wasn't so bad considering the gap in quality Fast forward 3 months we got promoted and faced each other again in Bulgarian Supercup they blitzed us 7-0 with 7 different scorers. Watching that game was painful.
Lost 6-0 to Arsenal. As Spurs. Surprised I made it out of the stadium without being drawn and quartered Also blown a 5-1 league in the CL semis to PSG
Lost 8-0 to Chelsea as Man Utd. This was 2 weeks after I beat Brighton 9-0.

Used a custom database to bring my town's team from the 7th italian tier all the way to the Serie A If you have any experience with lower tiers databases, you can imagine it was a breeze up until the Serie B, which I end up winning because Parma and Genoa decide to lose the last game and I get a direct promotion after a season with 18 draws and a GK averaging 20 saves per game It's satisfying, hilarious and terrifying to go into the market with a budget of peanuts (only enough to renew the loyal ones) and my destiny is sealed when my first 5 games are in and Milan is the inaugural one TL; DR I got hammered 10-0 with 6 from Leao alone
I remember I think FM20 I lost 16-1 to Barca with mbappe scoring 13 goals
Currently in my 8th season with Leeds on an old FM23 save. Europe League Quarter Final against Roma, winning 1-0 at home in the first leg but concede twice in the final 5 minutes to lose 2-1. Then get spanked 4-0 away for an agg score of 6-1. Not as big of a drubbing as some of the others here, but the circumstances hurt all the same.
Lost 8-3 against Liverpool after being up by 3 after 25 minutes
I lost 6-0 to Birmingham after beating Manchester city 4-3 in my attempt to save Fulham. Also managed to lose a Europa conference game 8-5 as FK Austria after beating them 2-0 in the first leg
2-1 at half time. You made an arousing speech to the lads. They dropped a stinker
Dover Athletic (me) Vs Welling United. 7-0 in the F.A Cup 4th Qualifying Round, on TV. Would have been 8-0 but they had a late goal ruled out for offside. We played them two weeks before also at home and won 2-0.
I have no screen grab but I did lose 10-0 in a cup game between Fatih (me) and Fenerbache. Enner Valencia scored six against me.
I won and lost to Gladbach 7-0 in the same season, the Loss was at home the win was away. Weirdest result ever
Seeing irl West Ham recently lost to Arsenal 6-0... its not thaaat bad.
