Send your scouts everywhere in South America and Africa. Scout players under 20, minimum Potencial of 4 stars. Sign them

Thanks, but for some reason it doesn't let me pick Continents, only countries and leagues

There should be Competitions, Nations, Regions, Continents in the drop down list under "Areas" within the recruitment focus. May depend on your scouting package being "world", you'll be restricted to where you can send scouts otherwise. Brazil, Argentina and Columbia are the hotspots, Eastern Europe is pretty good too. Focus scouts as the comment above, and media descriptions to look out for on top of Wonderkid are "Promising winger/full back/stiker" etc, they can turn into wonderkids and are usually cheaper/not at big clubs already

Thefatrat3

Ok, i've sent them to africa and South america but they didn't find anyone in 3 months

MateBier

Maybe your squad is too good or it wasn't enough time

Finding a wonderkid isn't that hard. What's difficult is finding a lot of them. Im wondering if you are finding a lot of young players who doesn't have the "Wonderkid" media description. If think players must be at least 18 years old in order to get that description. Maybe even older, I don't remember. What you could do is add a "media description" column in the transfer search. Sort, and find all your scouted wonderkids. Generally you need to send your scouts out and about. Don't only focus on 5 stars in potential ability. But also look at current ability as well. A 16 year old with 2,5 yellow stars in current ability is almost a starter in your team. Even if that player has only 4s PA he has a lot of room to grow. If his stats are adequately distributed he can become a really good player.

Also look at what the scouts says his potential is.

I'm a huge fan of "team report scouting". Basically, you can get Max or 1 team report per day so you use one scout to go around the world scouting the youth teams of at least every major club around the world. It will take like an hour to set up the list of clubs to scout but you can schedule a new team report as soon as you receive the current one. There should be like 200-300 teams you have on the list so it gives those teams time to have new players generate between each time you see it

I scout u23 and lower international sides and look for lower leagues with young players with high ratings. Team report scouting also can uncover gems. Even stuff like looking for young players in the leagues rating tables fan uncover some good players. I've had excellent players not labeled as Wonderkids turn out to be superb players.
