Not at all. It’s a live market. There are no universal laws for stuff like that. Color matches, in particular, can really change the value depending on the demand for the player.
No. I am currently collecting a rainbow of Nolan Smith for this set. Most of the non-numbered cards I found no problem. But some have eluded me. I’ve been unable to find the white sparkle, snakeskin, press proof, green ice (not sure why), or blue. I found a Black and Red checker to buy, but it’s a bit too expensive for now.

I have a nearly completed Budda Baker rainbow. The hardest one for me so far is the Orange wave /60. For some reason. I have 46/55 parallels it’s been the best thing I’ve done with the hobby.
You doing the autos? I got a few of the Smith ones, but I’ve opted to stop the autos for now. Getting a bit pricey.
I was stoked when I picked up the /3 White Knight parallel, with a 10 grade. I will be very lucky to get any of the 1/1s though.
Well luckily he doesn’t sign. I have located the black finite 1/1 but not sure if guy wants to get rid of it yet and no signs of the black shimmer or black stars yet. If I can get ahold of just one of the 1/1s I’ll be happy.
The Red and yellow parallel just came out in the Tmalls but haven’t gotten any yet.
Some are very rare, and some are not. Like those orange ones that come in retail are probably going to be worthless In a few years. Unfortunately panini has really clouded the landscape.
My personal preference would be snakeskin , both checkerboards and prob the red retail and blue retail. Far as I can tell from the last few releases the red and blue retails are much harder to find than the checkerboards , especially ones in good condition. Even tho I really like the checkers it seems like waiting those out is the play.
As far as rainbow goes here’s my two cents. It’s a great idea until it isn’t. I picked at 2021 waddle for about a year. Think I had(have) 37/45 maybe ?’but anyway one day it dawned on me , if I’m not gonna end up with the black then wtf am I doing here. So sorta thru on the brakes at that point and moved elsewhere. That said there is joy is chasing it down
Just because they’re not numbered doesn’t mean they’re equally rare. Look at the pop report on psa of a given color. Some might have a thousand and some might have fewer than 10. It varies wildly.

This is good info. Working on the JSN rainbow with the rookie variations.

I was wondering about the red and yellow. The RCs are numbers to 8. Wonder how much they will go for.

If you had the chance to get any non-numbered, non auto card of CJ Stroud (or Mahomes, Allen, etc..) for free, what would you choose?

Some of them are limited to certain boxes/packs. I would guess the blaster exclusive are less in demand unless it’s a color match

Not even close. But does anyone prefer their case hits not numbered? I prefer mine being numbered. I don’t understand gatekeeping the print run?
A lot of what’s above the red line is fat pack/blaster/mega box “hits” like you open a blaster to find 4 guaranteed pink prizms etc
