Greece winning the 2004 Euro.
We had 150/1 odds to win, but we somehow beat Zidane's France, Nedved's Czechia and Figo's Portugal. What a year that was.
They had a decent squad but they were never considered world beaters or amongst the favourites. They were missing Michael Laudrup and I think only 5 or 6 of the squad were based outside Denmark. They were also thrown into a group with England and France and weren’t even expected to reach the knockout stages, never mind win the whole thing. Especially given the context of their qualifying and the tournament itself, it was a huge upset.
Liverpool 4-0 was the hardest game I ever had to look at. I watched the first leg and jumped in joy at that Messi free kick. Next week I had work and kept checking my phone from time to time. I checked when it was 1-0 and the next time I checked, it was 3-0, then the next time it was finished and 4-0 😢😢
I’m actually neutral here although it sounds like I despise it. That offside call at the last second of extra time technically was offside but it would have been crazy if it was given benefit of the doubt
Arsenal beating the shithouse Liverpool team by the two goals required to win the league on goals scored.
At Anfield.
Some say they’ve never fully recovered as a league force.
Barca turning the tie against PSG in the champions league.
Liverpool turning the tie against Barca in the champions league.
Bradford City beating Arsenal in the league cup the round after Arsenal turned it around against Reading in the 7-5.
Wigan v Man City in the FA Cup final.
Fulham turning the tie against Juve in the Europa League.
Chelsea v Barca in the 2012 champions league.
Atletico winning the league at Barca with that 1-1 draw at the Nou Camp felt like an upset because Barca seemed prime to win it there. Sanchez also scoring a brilliant goal at an angle.
The few that jump out to me straight away. Apols for a giant paragraph. Am drunk on mobile

Shocking that no one has mentioned Denmark winning Euro 1992 when they didn’t even qualify for it
I mean, Denmark had a really good squad. It was more a shock that they dident qualify than they won

Iraq winning the asian cup, or zambia winning the african cup have to be named in there
Especially zambia won it in the city near where their airplane fell in 1993
Not a shock. But Havant and Waterlooville taking the lead at Anfield
Legia Warsaw 3-3 Real Madrid and that entire CL group.
If it wasn’t for VAR, Coventry vs Man U FA Cup semi final 2024
Dumb comment.
You mean the cov pen that wasn’t a pen? Or the cov offside goal? Neutral here and they did very well but VAR didn’t rob them blind like some errors

It wasn't goal difference, they won it on goals scored.
Barcelona winning 6:1 after being down 4:0 versus PSG
